I posted my sample 18 days ago and they still say they have not received. I have asked for a refund a few times now, but they refuse. This is a terribly disorganised company. I think it is a bunch of kids sending samples to a third party. Their communication is dismal.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I purchased a hair testing kit hoping to get to the bottom of some ongoing health issues. After mentioning it to my doctor, I was advised that hair testing cannot diagnose allergies or intolerances and that these types of tests are not considered medically reliable.

I therefore decided to request a refund, and this is where my experience became very disappointing.

The advertised 14-day money-back guarantee was not what I expected. In my experience, the refund terms were not made sufficiently clear at the point of purchase. When I requested a refund, it was refused. I even attempted a chargeback through my credit card provider, but the company successfully defended the claim by relying on its terms and conditions.

My particular issue was that I had clicked an activation link in an email. Although I never submitted a hair sample, never received any results, and never completed the testing process, the company considered the service activated and refused a refund. The activation button was effectively the only action available in the email I received, so consumers should be aware of this before proceeding.

I was also automatically enrolled in a subscription linked to the app. I cancelled this immediately through both the company’s website and my card provider. If you purchase this service, make sure you understand exactly what you are signing up for and review any subscription options carefully.

I also found the marketing emails excessive and experienced difficulty unsubscribing.

If you are concerned about allergies or intolerances, my advice would be to speak to a qualified healthcare professional. In my experience, these tests were not the quick solution they appeared to be.

Overall, I felt misled by the refund process and would not use this company again.

One of the biggest issues for me was the ordering process itself. They do not send you a physical kit, which immediately felt confusing and unclear. I kept receiving emails telling me to “activate” my test, so I did — assuming that was the step needed for them to actually send the kit. Instead, activating it apparently counted as using the service, even though I had not submitted anything or completed any testing.

When I realized this and requested a refund, the company refused. I explained that I genuinely misunderstood the process because the emails repeatedly pushed activation without clearly explaining that doing so would waive refund eligibility before even receiving or submitting anything.

After researching further, I also became concerned about the scientific validity of these types of sensitivity tests, which are widely disputed by mainstream medical and allergy organizations.

Another thing that raised concerns for me was the volume of glowing “verified” reviews online while I could not find a transparent or straightforward way to leave an honest review myself on their website. It made the reviews feel questionable to me as a consumer.

My biggest disappointment was the lack of customer service and unwillingness to work with me despite the obvious confusion. Consumers should do thorough research before spending money on these tests.

Item arrived damaged. No refund given. Apparently sending a delicate medical item is "securely packaged" in a cardboard envelope! Will not use this company again and ill not recommend it either!

Awful experience- do not use! I purchased the food intolerance test which uses a finger prick. I followed the instructions to the letter however when it came to using the lancets, and only two single use, are supplied I struggled to get any blood out of my two fingers I tried calling them but after the message asking me to leave a message they cut me off; as you need to send the test back the same day and as I had managed to get some blood I sent the test back but also emailed explaining the problem they offered to send more lancets but as the test had been sent back they were useless they then wanted £20 for a new test and having already paid nearly £200 for the test I was not minded to do so; I am struggling to get any solution from them but have subsequently learned from many to include a nurse that the finger prick is not a great way to draw blood - avoid this company!

Well looks like I'm not the only one. Buyer beware. See Karls comments about the subscription. And trying to cancel is not easy. They have to send you a link to access that part of your account, they say it's very visible when you buy the test, mmm, good luck. They will not refund, regardless of the fact that I did not even use the service from day one.

The testing process and results all went smoothly enough, however, the problem arose a few weeks later. I received notification that a payment had been debited from my account from Check My Body Health. Long story short, it transpires that they automatically sign you up for some sort of meal planning/nutrition plan unless you specifically opt out of this. There is apparently a 14 day 'free period', which turns out to be free of anything, as I received nothing at all. Unless you cancel this within the 14 days, they then continue the 'plan' which of course they charge you for. They do not inform you of this 14 day 'free period' during that time, so I knew nothing about it and they can now claim that I did not cancel and must pay for the first subscription. It's obviously a scam, with the information buried somewhere deep in the small print when you order whatever one-off test you pay for. So if you are going to use this company, be very careful when placing an order. Turns out as well (after a two second Google search), that hair testing is basically pseudoscience and a load of rubbish, so I wouldn't use any other of these companies either.

After sending off a sample of my hair I go the result back within the week.

It pretty much said I'm allergic to all sorts of wheat, so I immediately cut as much as I could out my diet. I stopped eating Bread and Noodles etc.

I was shocked 5 days later and I'm starting to feel better and I can already see an improvement, not going into to much detail.
