Avoid like the plague

Book a taxi from Godstone to Gatwick at 2.15 AM for an early flight out of Gatwick on a family holiday using airporttaransfers.com, they sub the job to this shower

2.25 tried calling uk airport rides and no answer- so call the airport transfers emergency number and they confirm they can’t reach the uk airport rides either

Eventually get a call from uk airport rides telling me the driver sticking traffic (at 2.30 am) told to wait 2
Mins while they contact the driver.

Call than back 10
Minutes later , another fob off told them they have 2 mins to call me back 2.45 am call agin to be told the driver took another job and won’t arrive until 3.05 nearly an hour later. Ended up driving and parking in line stay car park at 3x the price

Terrible start tonight holiday - avoid at all costs

Absolutely appalling service.

I was contacted via WhatsApp before my flight and again after landing at Stansted. I followed every instruction, confirmed my location in Zone D, and was repeatedly assured that the driver was on the way. After waiting around 35 minutes in the cold with two young children, I called several times and was continually told the driver would be there in "10 minutes."

Only after all that waiting did they finally call to admit that no driver was coming at all.

This happened at around 3:30am, leaving us stranded outside Stansted Airport with two tired young children and no transport home. I then had to scramble to find another taxi at nearly 4am and pay even more money because they failed to provide the service I'd already paid for.

To make matters worse, the representative offered nothing more than repeated apologies, refused to give me his name, and made no attempt to arrange alternative transport.

This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. If you value reliability—especially for airport transfers or if you're travelling with children—I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! BUNCH OF CROOKS! LIED TO US, TOOK OUR MONEY THEN 'SAM' KEPT HANGING UP THE PHONE LEAVING MY FAMILY OUT OF POCKET AND STRANDED AT 4AM WITH 2 SMALL KIDS! AFTER PAYING OVER £200 SAM TELLS US TO JUST GET AN UBER!!!

These people left my family of 2 small kids stranded outside at 4am in the cold after having booked and paid £200 weeks in advance. First they said the the driver was 10mins away, then after 30mins (we had to call them back) they say he's 5mins away. Then after another 20mins we call back and are told that there's no car available! After asking them what was I now to do now with 2 small kids at 4am+ in the cold, and there response was to "book myself an uber" and then hung up. The guy on the phone (Sam) kept putting the phone down and eventually would answer them stay silent after hearing my voice! We ended up having to pay another service £200 just to get home. THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDSTERS WHOME I HAVE NOW REPORTED TO TFL!

We booked UK Airport Rides via a third party City Airport Taxi Service. On arrival at our departure airport heading back to Gatwick, we learnt that our flight had been cancelled due to bad weather. City Airport Taxis who booked the pick up with UK Airport Rides refused to refund or rearrange pickup, even though the pick up was the following day 30 hours later than the original scheduled pick up time. The reason given was that notice was given less than 24 hours from time of the original scheduled pick-up. This was a last minute cancellation beyond our control. We called as soon as we heard. We gave 2.5 hours notice before pick up was due. We lost the total booking cost £78.29. NEVER USE CITY AIRPORT TAXI SERVICE OR THEIR PARTNER UK AIRPORT RIDES.

This service provider is fraud, I have made reservations via third party and came to UK airport ride. The driver never showed up and the provider kept lying saying that the driver 8min away the driver 3min away and wasted more than hour and never received the service. Never deal with them

!!DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!! They charged full booking amount, sent wrong passenger van and charged me over 550 pounds for 2 hours waiting and cancelled my journey. Total rubbish and fraud company. Agreed to refund me portion of the payment and later on changed the amount with few pennies. Whole company and reviews are also fake. I repeat do not book with them.

Excellent service comfortable car and knowledgeable drivers .

Even though the specified pick-up location was clear and easily found on any mapping service, the driver was unable to locate it, and was late in picking us up. He then stopped for fuel shortly after picking us up, making us even later. Then on the drive to Heathrow he had to be told to stop sending text messages while driving (for which he made no apology). And the car was dirty.

The driver was due 3am. Didn’t turn up. When I called the office they said’he isn’t coming, better get an uber!!’ Then on return trip driver waited 4 minutes then said he had to leave and we would have to pay again

Very straightforwards. No hassle in locating us at pick up and a friendly driver. Will use again.

Our flight was delayed twice. The taxi company charged us in advance for booking and then each time that we call them to inform about the flight and rebooking they charged us extra in spite of the fact that we informed them 2 hours and second time 4 hours before the estimated arrival time of the aircraft. Extremely rude customers service. They charged us three times for one ride even asked for more money just before getting into o the taxi. I would call they are thieves taking advantage of people who are desperate

Very friendly driver, and a smooth journey, exactly what we needed.

Very reliable service, have used this firm a number of times. Would highly recommend.

High quality service, nice car and punctual pick up

The vehicle we paid for was much smaller than the vehicle we ordered. We still paid for the higher capacity vehicle. Read the fine print of how this company classifies their vehicle seating capacity - it's deceptive. We only had carry-on luggage and were still cramped. I can't imagine if we had checked luggage. A miserable 3 hr journey with a driver that was constantly scrolling on his phone while driving sometimes in excess of 90 mph! I had to warn him once as he drifted into the other lane while looking at his phone. I had a very unsatisfactory response from the company. I guess this is their standard and there's nothing to complain about. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

I’d rate at minus if I could. Booked minibus for Gatwick for 8:40am, at 8:50am called to ask where driver was and was basically lied to. Waited over 45 minutes of them promising a driver - even blaming it on religion! Still waiting for our £120 refund - company doesn’t responded to your phone calls & will not deliver anything. WARNING DO NOT USE!

Driver was an hour late. Admin staff and driver kept telling me inconsistent excuses. Was offered compensation that has not arrived. Driver texted while driving. Car was cold and uncomfortable. Took an unexplained detour at one point. Avoid.

The driver did not arrive on time and got late for my ride from Coventry to London.
