Great support team

Great service from UK Therapy Rooms. Everything works as expected, and their support team is always available, quick to help, and regularly goes above and beyond to provide assistance when needed. Very pleased with the experience.

I was ‘ downgraded because I didn’t upgrade to view the ‘ enquiry ‘. It’s fairly obvious that a lot of the enquiries are fake and a way of trying to make you pay for the subscription service - scam , don’t trust

Hi there,

I am sorry to read your negative review. I would like to assure you that there are no fake enquiries - please read our Founders' Statement (www.uktherapyrooms.co.uk/founders-statement) to learn more about our values as healthcare professionals. There are very many members of our community who have found therapists and rooms to rent through the hundreds of thousands of genuine enquiries that pass through our platform.

The reason your account was moved to Standby (an inactive listing) is because the last 5 enquiries from therapists that you have received (of a total of 12) have remained unread for quite some time. This provides a poor experience to therapists looking for therapy rooms to rent as the evidence would suggest that if they were to message you, they would not hear back. The majority of listings on our site are active, and we really wish to keep it this way. I am sorry that this has upset you (we did provide a warning by way of email!).

Downgrading your account to Standby does not delete your account or hinder you in any way other than stopping you from receiving new enquiries, which would I would have thought would have the exact opposite effect of prompting an upgrade to a paid plan.

In any case, you were able to reactivate it for free, which you did. We are simply trying to ensure that everyone using our site has the best experience.

Advertised as free, is not

Absolutely horrible service. They advertise it as free, however it is only allows you to list for free, then you have to pay to see the enquiries- making the service entirely useless. Absolute waste of time to set up- you would probably be better off placing an ad in your window. I have had a reply from the company and I do feel it is a useful tool for someone looking to rent a room but if you cannot see the enquiry and have to pay to look it may be completely irrelevant to your business needs.

I am sorry to hear you did not find our platform helpful. Just to explain the model, we allow members to list for free so they do not need to pay before receiving an enquiry. Most subscription platforms require members to pay to go live. We believe our model is fairer in that regard because you do not have to lay out any money before receiving an enquiry. I believe most of our members understand this and we have many thousands of members who have stayed with us for many years. I do appreciate this model may not be right for everyone. We are constantly evolving our model and adding in features to improve user experience so we will take your feedback on board.

Don't believe all enquiries are genuine

Had a couple of genuine enquiries, and I like that the listing is live even without a subscription. However the majority of the enquiries come when the subscription runs out, but I reinstate so that I can reply, I never hear back from them. Feels scammy, as if they're sending fake enquiries to get you to sign up again. No wonder there's so many reviews her of rooms not responding. They've learned most enquiries aren't real.

This would not make any commercial sense but more importantly this would be the antithesis of our values as a business. We are a small London based team founded by two health professionals and this really isn't something we would do. Waste of time

You need to pay to SEE enquiries. It is also why there are so many bad reviews about people not answering to enquiries- because you cannot even see them as a room owner if you do not subscribe. I ended up paying after getting two enquiries, just to find out that they were from people who cannot even use my room due to the services they're providing (should be pretty obvious but some people lack common sense). This system is a waste of money and time on both sides- room owners and renters, the only one winning being the platform. This is a very scammy way to do business as you could at least show us the enquiries on a free membership and only allow us to reply if we pay. But we would at least be protected from time wasters.

Most subscription platforms require members to pay to go live. We believe our model is fairer in that regard because you do not have to lay out any money before receiving an enquiry. I do understand though that from your perspective it is frustrating to pay to only to receive an enquiry that is not a good fit. What I would say is that like all marketplace websites, not every enquiry will be the right fit but over the longer term the subscription provides good value. You may for example only need 1 enquiry to turn into a booking to get value from a 1 year subscription. I believe most of our members understand this and we have many thousands of members who have stayed with us for many years. I do appreciate it can be frustrating to receive an enquiry that is not the right fit and for therapists to not receive a response from a member who is not paying. We are constantly evolving our model and adding in features to improve this experience so we do take your feedback on board. You mention some of these reviews but I would also say we have mostly 5 star reviews from over 550 verified reviews so overwhelmingly the experience of UK Therapy Rooms is a positive one. If you still have a space to rent please do reach out if you would like to list with us again and we will try and support you in giving you an improved experience.

No need to look any further UK therapy rooms have your covered.

Customer service has been excellent throughout. Real people that pick up the phone or email back very quickly. I received help setting up the advert in the beginning and ongoing support. My rooms are now full thanks to U K Therapy Rooms and the site mainly generates very good therapists. I had a few spams and when I told them, they dealt with it immediately.
If you need to rent a space or find a space, I highly recommend this company, they have a lot of experience and for me have been the best performing advert.
