The scooter arrived belongs to another


The scooter arrived belongs to another person so I couldn't use it. Customer service took 3 days to respond and 1 day to respond afterwards when I leave a message. The whole experience is terrible and highly recommend using something else.

Good option before you buy a scooter

I'll give 5 stars even when I have some issues downloading the app and taking to long to answer back my email but I think scooter suspension on the wheels still a issue to solve because any crack, stone or rock on the street or road you can feel it very hard in your hands, arms and legs. For anything else like speed, hill climbing, power is very good.

Where do i begin

Where do i begin, I was so excited to receive my Unagi till i found out it was locked rendering it inoperable. No big deal I thought, till I realized that Customer Service is almost non existent to your issues, finally when they respond it was the same questions over and over over. After days of no response they finally emailed me while I was at work that the scooter was factory reset and ready to go. I rushed home excited to pair it to my account and still to no avail . No one has responded back ever since and my scooter is just sitting in dining room. Needless to say I’m very disappointed ☹ and don’t know what to do anymore.

My Unagi Scooter locked me out at the


My Unagi Scooter locked me out at the worst possible time while I was running errands.

After finishing my first errand, I tried to turn on my scooter, but it wouldn’t budge. There’s a red padlock on the LED screen.

I searched everywhere online for a way to unlock it, even checking with Unagi’s AI support. But I couldn’t find anything helpful.

I tried reaching out to Unagi Customer Support, but they didn’t seem to care about my problem. When I finally got through to them, they treated me just like another pawn customer. It took them 8 days to tell me to update the app! That means I lost 8 days of commute time.

To those who are not tech savvy, how the hell could anyone else figure that out? In fact, why did it lock out in the first place? Why is it such a mystery? Why isn’t this simple solution provided in Unagi Troubleshooting support?

Because of that, I have lost faith and trust with Unagi. They do not have a proper system in how to handle urgent/imporant situations. I cannot rely on them for tech support. I will do this on my own from now on and expect that Unagi will not be there to support.

Scooter was highly damaged when


Scooter was highly damaged when delivered. It is usable, but still. I feel like I wouldn’t spend the monthly amount (I even have a student discount) and I’d just buy a scooter of my own.

Great experience Top to bottom and beginning to end the


Top to bottom and beginning to end the experience of purchasing, getting a discount I qualified for and then receiving, unboxing and riding has been more satisfying than I thought possible. I could spend hours listing the pros of renting my scooter and I can't think of one negative thing about it.

smooth scooter operation but bumpy ride

The motor and operation was very smooth however, road bumpiness was excessive

The company has falsely advertised a top speed of 20 mph and scooter for over 3 weeks now and it will not reach a top speed of 20 mph I can't unlock it and they have done nothing to fix the problem very reason I ordered the scooter was the top speed stated and advertised to be 20 miles per hour I continue to get blown off and ignored it is very frustrating and they have got to fix the problem

Its not like they know what's going on there...

I own two scooters: one on a monthly subscription and one paid in full. After losing my job, I fell behind on the subscription payments. When I tried to use the fully paid scooter to start a new job in August 2024, it wouldn’t work. Despite months of back-and-forth emails—since they refused to take my calls—Unagi finally acknowledged that they had sent the wrong replacement for the paid-in-full scooter. I even asked if they could temporarily unlock the scooter so I could start working and pay them off, but they refused to consider my request while they investigated why the scooter wasn’t functioning. Now, in December 2024, they’re demanding that I return it immediately. They've also offered me one monthly subscription payment off.. once my overdue balance is paid. This by far has been the worst experience and during the whole experience, i was emailing customer support about the issue, the billings department was emailing me requesting payment, and another department was threatening to repose the scooters.

Faulty Scooter

I got sent a scooter with a faulty battery. Would charge fully and then gave you about 5 minutes of drive time before dying completely. I was really excited for my new scooter and it died on day 1, leaving me stranded and forced to walk the scooter a couple miles. I switched to the more expensive option and am hoping it turns out better this time.

Not reliable, but looks good

This is the second Unagi scooter I’ve gone through. Everything feels wobbly. The slim design is nice but other than that not a reliable means of transportation. The screws that were sent to me were already stripped, and the first scooter I had snapped in half after only three months of using it. I wish this scooter was more sturdy and felt like I was riding something stable and safe.
