Created by a woman for women, Unique Vintage celebrates the iconic, flirty fashion of the past with modern, ready-to-wear designs for today’s woman. Started in 2000, uniquevintage.com was founded by Katie Echeverry, a vintage fashion lover who would spend her weekdays working in pharmaceutical sales and her weekends on the hunt for vintage dresses to sell on the website she had started as a fun weekend hobby. Quickly recognizing that high quality vintage items were very hard to find, Katie took a chance and began adding vintage-inspired dresses to her site, seeing sales skyrocket almost immediately. This was all it took for Katie to know that her weekend hobby was much more than just that, leading her to ditch the doctor’s offices and take on UV full time. As UV’s business continued its path of exponential growth, Echeverry opened a 4,600-square-foot brick and mortar boutique in 2008. This storefront location has stood as an iconic destination on the historic vintage row of Magnolia Boulevard in downtown Burbank since. In August 2015, Unique Vintage unveiled its first major renovation since its initial opening. Despite having several opportunities to move her business out of her hometown, Echeverry has remained committed to maintaining her local roots for the company. She cares deeply about the city of Burbank and prioritizes the store’s contribution to Magnolia Park. Since those early days, Unique Vintage has continued to grow, launching its very own Unique Vintage brand label to better serve the needs of the UV girl, while continuing to carry the retro-inspired labels that helped to put UV on the map. Building on the Unique Vintage label, UV has also launched exclusive collaborations with Barbie, Pantone, Coca-Cola, Universal Monster and more.

Unique Vintage does not take care of their customers
Unique Vintage does not take care of their customers. I had to pay an big amount to customs (never had this before). Their is an item in my package from final sale. They do not refund final sale. If I want to return the other items in the package, I first have to pay customs. Then I can tak out the item on final sale en then pay shipping to return the other items.
The answer from this company to my email could be interpreted as: not our problem!

The clothing was just as it looked online! Perfect for our costume party, i had a sizing issue that they worked with me on so i didn’t have a delay in receiving the exchange! Very pleased with this site and this customer service.
Terrible quality and worse customer service!
Second time I got the wrong order from them, I asked for a resolution other than just a refund or replacement and all they sent me was their standard cookie cutter reply. Not even a personal reply apologizing, just a pre made email reply for returns. I'm done with this place! Don't order from them!!!
I love this site
I love this site! They’re clothing is adorable and great pricing. Its difficult for me as a plus size woman to find vintage clothing that’s not gonna cost me a months worth of car insurance. I recently made a mistake where I purchased the same item twice. They made it easy for me to cancel my item and refund my money back right away. I would totally suggest this site to my friends.
Zero Stars
This was a lousy first impression. I placed and order and happily waited for my item. When I noticed the order still hadn’t shipped after almost 2 weeks, I tried to reach out. I emailed....no response. Tried chat....even though it noted they typically respond in a few hours there was no response. Tried to cancel the order but the website wouldn’t allow it. Called their customer service number and got a message that they cannot take the call after being on hold for 20 minutes. Since it had been 15 days, I put in a dispute. Suddenly within a couple or hours I got a response from the company that my order was canceled and being refunded. Then got another email that the item was actually not in stock when I placed the order. Strange that they processed my payment and held on to it for 2 weeks for an item that was never available. Buyer beware!
Ordered 13.03
Ordered 13.03. No update provided when shipped, I had to chase for a tracking number multiple times on Facebook, web chat and via email. Eventually it was provided and showed parcel has been on hold with DHL due to no electronic data being provided since 18.03. I have been ignored by customer service when I have asked them to investigate with DHL because DHL have said they’ll only deal with the merchant. I am very disappointed with the customer service and doubt that I will receive my parcel. PayPal claim opened and refund now received.

Order took a while to arrive, which was OK as we were advised that was the case.
It was a mystery order so we were expecting a nice surprise. How wrong we were... items were not vintage they were old dirty and fit for the bin.
Did email, as I wanted to return for a refund, and was asked to clarify why my order was rubbish. Haven't heard from him since

Jeg er så skuffet over mine 2 oplevelser med Unique-Vintage. Første gang modtog jeg en rigtig pæn kjole, men i en ringe kvalitet og med ødelagte bæltestropper. Det kunne jeg dog leve med. Men anden gang var det værre: jeg modtog en pakke med en brugt kjole i, en brugt kjole uden indpakning... Det er simpelthen ikke ok.
Jeg har forsøgt at skrive til kundeservice, og modtaget en adresse til at returnere mine køb. Det vil dog stadig koste mig dyrt i porto og gebyr.. Jeg er skuffet - og vil ikke handle hos dem igen.

Ordered a shirt for my boyfriend using the size chart given. He is always a size Small. Tried on the shirt, its too small.
Email the company about the issue, looking to simply exchange the product. Apparently their "Policy" is nothing can be exchanged (even unworn product) after 30 days. They link me to some BS policy page where it says RETURNS cannot take place after 30 days.
NOTHING in the policy says Exchanges cannot happen after 30 days. I brought this up with the representative, she didn't care. Most companies have extended their return policies due to the pandemic, or are at least up front about the policy.
Product wasn't even that great, certainly not worth the $75 I spent on a stiff men's short sleeve button up. I will never be purchasing from them again.
Great customer service
My customer service experience with this company was excellent. I ordered an umbrella but it was damaged when it came. They respond to their emails right away and they are very helpful. They told me my options because they didn’t have more in stock at the time. But I waited a bit and when I saw it was restocked I inquired about it and they sent me a replacement right away. Very friendly and pleasant experience.
Worth the Drive
I've been to the shop in Burbank once as I live almost an hour away, but I definitely feel like it was worth the drive. I really enjoyed my experience shopping around the store. The service and staff were amicable, and the store had a pretty good selection of clothes even if not as much as on the website, and everything was well organized and tidy. The online staff is also very responsive, and when I submitted a message regarding an issue, they responded to my inquiry promptly and respectfully.
No longer unique you are catching on late you missed some nice stuff
Not as nice as it once was. Seems like as it moves into mainstream the quality to detail is less. It no longer feels unique. When i look at this sight i feel like im shopping at any cookie cutter mall mass produced garbage that will be over in a few months and littering the planet. Its sad and wasteful. I have some older stuff that i still wear five years later and it still looks great. i see some of thier outfits now and laugh like the chick in glitter bell bottoms with a silky eighties blouse...????? I dont know... i dont want to insult the models but they dont look like pins ups anymore. All of those models are gone and now it just looks like they are trying to appeal to kids-?? For why?? Whatever but you have lost a good customer. I spend thousands on clothing to look nice. I think i might gravitate my business elsewhere... sorry you're not unique anymore
I have always loved UV
I have always loved UV, and I made a mistake when checking out. I forgot to change my shipping preference. Thinking it was a lost cause, I still tried reaching out to see if they could help me upgrade my shipping on the back end. Maura was a lovely little gem and made it soooooo easy. Plus, I will have my order in time for my event!
I always recommend them based on their clothing, but now I know Im really supporting lovely people.

Pretty dresses, bad service!
The dresses are lovely in style, but not the best of quality. I have purchased at the site before and was very pleased, but this time the experience was
shocking bad. Furthermore the service are extremely poor. I received a dress in another size than i ordered, and they did not send me a replacement, but just refunded the amount of the dress, not
included the international delivery and taxes that I additionally paid. After re-ordering the dress (and paying for delivery again) I got a message that the dress was sold out. I asked for the same dress in another color, but that was not possible, they just (yet again) refunded the amount of the dress. So at this point I've paid 324 DKK/ 51,47 USD in deliveries and taxes for a dress that I will never see.

Not only do they have the best dresses, they’re just all around tops!!
I ordered a hat a couple days ago that delivered to the wrong place.
I replied to their email notification re: my delivery, that there had been a mix-up, I thought I chose delivery to my home but it went to curbside pickup at the store, and I was unable to pick the package up.
UV Darling Lilia reached back out to me the very next day, she was kind, knowledgeable and efficient, offered several different shipping methods/costs, sent a link for the additional payment and had the item shipped to me. This is all within minutes!!! Immediate replies!! Real time guys!!! On a Saturday!!!
No waiting for the next business day for a response. I mean, I didn’t expect that but I sure was happy!!
I really appreciate them making it super easy and stress free for me!!! I definitely feel like a valued customer. Kudos to UV... the covid crisis hasn’t caused them to slack on providing excellent service.
