U-Save Edinburgh Airport serves travellers flying into Edinburgh Airport (EDI), with the desk based within the Secure Airparks Car Park at 100 Ingliston Road, Newbridge, EH28 8AU. From arrivals, head to the coach park, located near the multi-storey car park and opposite the Tram Station. Follow signs for the Tram Station and through the covered walkway, then cross to the coach park and wait at stand 10. A complimentary shuttle runs every 10 minutes, 24/7, taking about 3 minutes, so let the driver know you are a U-Save customer and get off at Bus Stop 2 at Secure Airparks Car Park to collect your car. Desk opening hours (local time): every day 07:00–22:00, including public holidays.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! They did not rent me the car to me because they needed an issue date on my license which Australians don’t have. In the email that tells you what to bring it wasn’t included, nor in the terms and conditions attached. When you check the conveniently different terms and conditions on their website it says you need the this proof. Absolute rip off and seems like many others didn’t get a refund because of similar reasons and what a great way for a dodgy company to make a quick buck.

We understand why being refused the car over the licence issue, after you say the requirement was absent from the email and attached terms, was upsetting. We cannot determine the applicable document rule or refund position from the review alone. These people cannot be trusted
Very friendly staff. Very low prices. Located off the airport - so a bit cumbersome to take out and return car. We were scammed. Charged GBP 2000 for a scratch that we documented with photos that were there when we took over and delivered. We have repeatedly contacted agency with no response. They are speculating that we will not do anything. These guys cannot and should not be trusted.

The car was ok but the £2000 waver…
The car was ok but the £2000 waver damage was unacceptable considering we had paid easyJet a waver.
It was just to try and sell you their damage waver insurance. Not expected but in the small print .
Next time I will not use this service

Cover bought through a booking partner may work differently from cover offered at the rental desk, and the applicable terms need to be checked against your booking. £800+ bill for damages received.
I will try to keep my personal opinions and feelings out of this review, and supply only the facts:
1) When I purchased my flight with easyJet, I was offered the option to hire a car with U-Save Car & Truck Rental at Edinburgh Airport.
2) Since the hire company was provided by easyJet, I was given an amount of confidence that this was a reputable company.
3) Before I had even received the keys to my hire car, the U-Save office staff asked me to leave a positive review for their service.
(I declined on the basis that I couldn't honestly review a service that I hadn't yet used)
4) I was asked by the office staff if I had taken out extra insurance, which I had.
5) Before accepting the car I followed the request of the insurance company and took photographs of the car.
6) I could find no damage to the car.
7) The hire car was presented to me with an empty fuel tank.
8) During the rental period I drove the car very carefully and had no accidents with it.
9) Before returning the car I took another set of photographs.
10) I found no damage to the car.
11) I followed the return process of depositing the key in a mailbox.
12) There was no opportunity to discuss the condition of the car with a member of staff.
13) Prior to arriving home I received a bill for damages to the total of £883.69
14) I contacted the insurance company and asked how I could challenge these charges.
15) The insurance company instructed me to make a claim.
16) I submitted a claim for the unexpected damage charges.
17) My claim was paid within the hour.
18) I will never willingly do business with U-Save Car & Truck Rental again.

Todo muy bien. Nos hicieron upgrade del vehículo sin coste adicional.
Lo único por lo que no le doy 5 estrellas es porque a la devolución, que normalmente no vas sobrado de tiempo, no había nadie para recoger el vehículo y tuvo que salir el chico que estaba haciendo una entrega para verificar todo.
Por lo demás, todo perfecto

£2000 Not released after 30 days.
The car hire and return was great , the vehicle was exceptional but the fact that it has been more than 30 days later and the hold on my £2000 deposit hasn't been lifted yet is scandalous.
