Great program. Made my project go so smoothly and improved my workflow and ability to organize and purchase materials efficiently.

As a professional in the marine and off-grid electrical industry, I’ve found this to be a really helpful tool to work with clients on collaborative designs. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using UseWireframe to design and document the complete electrical system for a custom van build, and I’ve been very impressed with it.

My diagram has grown into a fairly complex 48V/12V/120V system with batteries, BMS, inverter/charger, solar, alternator charging, DC distribution, shore power and monitoring. UseWireframe has made it surprisingly easy to keep everything organized, understandable and visually clean as the design evolved.

It’s intuitive, fast to work with, and I genuinely enjoy using it. There are still a few improvements I’d like to see, but overall it has been an excellent experience and a very useful tool for this project.

Definitely looking forward to seeing how the product evolves.

I just needed to have for myself a schematic of how I laid out my system without the cumbersome issue of drawing. I appreciate how it warns you if you put in an undersized wire and doing all the calculations needed. Lots of options for equipment that brings in the parameters of the item. Just wish the continuing subscription wasn't so expensive

Brilliant website, makes wiring diagrams easy, has a heap of optional upgrades with plans that totally add to the process. Or it also has a brilliant free tier, that works for people doing smaller or projects that don't need access to advanced features

Nice platform. I takes only a short period of time to learn the system. is pretty intuitive. To my system on a Steel boat, I only had a few items i needed to draw/make my self (freezer and Windgenerator) all the rest was just pick and drop in the system. I like it😊

Fantastic web app, I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to create schematics. It is both easy to use, quick to get something looking great and has some great advanced features that make this stand out from others. Being a web app and not a natively installed application, means this can be used anywhere even on mobile devices.

I trialed Wireframe as an installer building solar and battery systems for RVs. What stood out most wasn't just the tool — it was Shane. When I raised specific pain points around building battery banks and swapping equipment, he responded fast, professionally, and without any of the runaround you usually get. He turned my feedback into real code changes over a weekend, and followed through on the details I'd flagged rather than giving lip service to them.

That kind of prompt attention and genuine willingness to implement requested improvements is rare in software this niche. Whether or not the platform ends up being the right fit for every workflow, the person behind it clearly cares about getting it right and treats users like partners. Highly recommend giving it a look — and know you're dealing with a developer who's actually reachable and quick to act.

This is a great application! I've been looking for a way to produce Victron style schematics, and this is the best! Easy to use with most of the equipment already loaded into the app. In addition, the ability to have it check your work for ABYC compliance is invaluable.

First time user on iPad and what I really like about this product is its simplicity. When you figure out the basic mechanics it goes together really well. Now for the things I don’t like… There is no ability to print right from the product. Exports to pictures are too blurry to use effectively making collaboration tough without sharing the link and the other person using it. I’m not sure if product is bugged but once I lock an item I can’t re-select it to unlock. The last while minor as this is a niche product is the price, it’s a tad bit on the high side to actually do anything as a DIY’er

Lots of room for this product to grow. Look forward to following it’s progress!

The program is pretty stellar. A little pricey if you buy the subscription but most things can be done in the free version

Good product that simplifies a lot of the design process. I think there’s room to grow and become even more user friendly, but there are regular feature enhancements so those things will come. One feature I would like to see built out further is the calculators. I would like to be able to save the work in them so that I can return later and continue to customize and build as I modify the system.

Ease of use.

WOW!! What a great tool. We are just getting started with this and we have already created some very professional looking drawings. I will say that we have sold several projects because of Wireframe as it really brings a true vision and clarity to each project.

Usewireframe.com is very easy to use. I have used it to create wireframe diagrams for the electrical setup for my camper van.

Initially, I used the design wizard, which asked me some simple questions about my requirements and then suggested a wireframe to meet those requirements. Then, I built a wireframe from scratch because I wanted to understand the issues involved in creating an electrical setup in more detail.

The paid version of the website will suggest cable and fuse specifications, along with an explanation for the suggested values. You are also told to check these specifications with a qualified person.

I am bringing my diagram to a qualified engineer this week. In building the diagram with usewireframe.com, I have learned a lot about the electrical requirements of the components I am planning to use, and I feel more confident talking to an engineer about what I need.

I’m rating 4/5 because Wireframe can still be improved. Some improvements are actually already there, compared to when I used it ;-)
Yet, the program is incredibly easy and friendly to use. It’s undoubtedly very useful. I spent a good amount of time at designing my system (and had a lot of fun🤓), but when I finally realized it everything worked fine.
I would never make an electrical system without a proper design and Wireframe is perfectly fit for beginners and professionals.
It’s definitely worth it’s price! Not to say about tons of other very useful free hints by Shane

Wireframe is very good I found. I recommend anyone doing a van or boat project to at least try Wireframe. It allows you to draw a schematic of what your entire electrics will look like and identify what you REALLY need, then plan amperages etc. I think it would save people money and stress in the long run because it helps avoid "guess buying". I realise now in my van conversion I have a small pile of items I have purchased that are basically no good for my van conversion project - items I THOUGHT "that looks the thing I need i will buy that" because I only had an "in my mind plan" of my electrics. After creating the Wireframe plan I now know I need better\other components. A lot of the components are configurable too, i.e. the Busbars, you can increase connections. or cigarette plugs you can flag as 24V etc
