I was one of the first consumers who bought the product years before it was released, I emailed customer service 2 months ago asking about a small replacement part and still have gotten no response. Entire unit is worthless now and customer service is non existent. Very unhappy with this company. Expensive product and no customer service!
Containers do not seal, poor, or non-existant customner service.
My numerous storage containers purchased have never sealed. I received a notification from VacuVita. After many emails regarding this, I finally received an email that the seals were defective and was requested to tell them the number of units that I had, which I did. I posed the question as to why I should pay $10 for a defective product and have not heard from them since. This was in 2019. I have written numerous emails since requesting my seals and have gotten to response at all.

I received this as a gift and I absolutely love it. I live in Florida and hate having to keep my bread in the refrigerator. I tell everyone about this amazing machine. Unfortunately, I am having an issue with it where the outer ring of the LED is lit, but the blue indicator is not and it's not sealing. I have reached out to customer service and they got back to me within 24 hours. They said I may have gotten liquid sucked into it while sealing. I did do a bag of chicken so it is possible. Asked what I can do to fix the problem, just waiting on a responce back. Hope I can fix it as I Love Love this machine.

I've been looking for ages for a vacuum container series which actually works and has a smart app to go with it. The vacuvita is exactly that! The unit, containers and bags work perfectly and the app is great to make sure we never forget to consume food "hidden" in the back of the fridge. The staff is super friendly and they provide outstanding customer service. I'm so happy I found vacuvita and recommend it to anyone who never wants to waste food again and get the best out of its nutrients. Thank you!
I am so impressed with this company
I am so impressed with this company. I only found out about this wonderful product 2 weeks ago. Once I decided to get one, I set about trying to buy one online, via the usual outlets. However, I could not find one anywhere, other than the USA.
I contacted the company, in the Netherlands, directly, and the staff were amazing. They got back to me promptly and offered a variety of colours for me to choose from. After placing my order, they shipped all my items, to the UK within a matter of days, everything arrived yesterday. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. Even during a world wide pandemic, the staff in the company took the time to get all my items to me in record time, and for that I'm truly grateful. I can't wait to try out the product, especially as I'm a key worker who has to buy fruit and veg in bulk, as I don't have the time to keep going shopping, so this product should keep all my produce fresh for sometime.

I contributed to Vacuvitas Indiegogo campaign in December 2016 and it still hasn't arrived! The first two years of correspondence were filled with excuses about shipping contracts and now they are just not replying to attempts to contact them. Dishonest scam company.

Recently recâd as a gift along with 2 boxes of containers and some bags. It is missing the vacuum tube and adaptor. Unable to contact them. Very expensive, yet no customer service to help? My sister has this unit and loves it. I wish I could use mine!!!!

My review is based on my experience on their customer service. Iâve contacted the company regarding replacement grey rubber stoppers that fit on the top of the containers. I bought two sets of containers. I need to replace a lot of them. They said they would help but have not replied back. I waited and stowed the containers away and now not even using the vacuvita. The machine is only used an open bin on my counter. Itâs been over a year. Iâve emailed today and am writing this review in hopes they will respond.

At first it seemed to work ok
At first it seemed to work ok. I had a difficult time sealing the containers but the bags seemed to seal really well. But now I can't seal anything with it I still use the base station that seems to work fine. But I can't seal anything else it pumps for 2 seconds and stops I'm not getting any vaccum seal with this at all I am now looking for an alternative but I can't seem to find anything that looks like it would work with the vacuvita containers and bags
UPDATED: Problem Solved Via Overseas Customer Service
I purchased a Vacuvita as a Christmas present. The unit worked for an hour before stopping completely and becoming inoperable.
The blue light does not light up and only the outer ring of the LED light is lit. The unit does nothing but that when connected to power.
I've tried since Christmas Day to contact customer service and have been unsuccessful.
Perhaps this review will lead to me getting some help? I hope so.
I am very frustrated.
UPDATE!
Upon seeing the above review, VacuVita contacted me via email and sent me the parts needed to repair the issue I was having. They also sent videos showing me how to make the repair/adjustment.
The unit now works and I am far more satisfied.

No Customer Service - no replacement parts
I purchased a Vacuvita Homebase unit, additional bags and a set of containers for my mother-in-law for Christmas. The unit is missing the vacuum hose attachment and after several attempts to contact customer service, I have not received a response. This company has no phone number to call, only an email, which is invalid. If you spend the money to purchase this system, better hope that nothing breaks or that you need replacement parts.

Not worth the price tag.
Bag are a pain to actually seal. Trying to use with raw chicken breast and it is taking 30 minutes each bag. I should have taken my money and purchased a food saver vacuum sealer. Never had a problem with them. Learned my lesson.

I got my unit in white in early 2016. It is still working amazingly. I'm in Houston. We went through Harvey and my two story house flooded with 3 feet of water for 10 days. Before we got evacuated, we moved upstairs with food and water. Vacuvita equiped, to keep some of the stuff fresh. We were able to return to the house 10 days later. Power had been cut off all that time. Everything in the room had grown mold, the food was spoiled... a mess. When I opened the Vacuvita... food was freaking edible, bread and cookies basically. But that sat in Houston summer on a flooded house, with standing sewer water downstairs...INCREDIBLE. It has been 2 years since I first got it, and still going strong! LOVE IT.

My VacuVita Homebase has served me reliably for about two years. A problem recently developed and I contacted VacuVita, hoping to avoid complete replacement of the unit. Eleanor, at VacuVita, was courteous, creative, and tireless in assisting me. Eventually, the problem was discovered and after an easy part replacement and reset my Homebase is back in my kitchen and working beautifully.
