Potential scam. No refund upon cancelled flight
Don't use them. They are unwilling to refund my funds after they have cancelled my flight. I called up the airline company and it turns out they have not even requested the refund from the company after nearly a month. Their customer service is virtually non-existent.

I booked flight CX5749 under Cathay Pacific via VakaTrip, but later found out it's actually operated by HK Express (UO749) — a low-cost airline that doesn’t include hand-carry baggage. This was not clearly shown during booking, and I chose Cathay specifically for its baggage benefits.
This is very misleading and has caused me concern.
As a courtesy for this confusion, I also request that you add my middle name (Juderiasen) to the ticket free of charge, since it was not included during booking and may affect check-in.
Please clarify:
Will Cathay's hand-carry baggage policy still apply?

I had booked ticket from Bangalore to Udaipur and found to be that the ticket where not booked only and gave me a fraud ticket where PNR was INVALID and took the money and they are like still didn’t get the refund from the airlines. Spoke to airlines also they said that tickets aren’t booked only

Vakatrip offered the false price
Vakatrip offered half the price of a flight from San Diego to Seattle that could be purchased on the Alaska Airlines website.
I proceeded with the purchase procedure on vakatrip with some skepticism, but was ultimately unable to settle. All the time I spent on the booking process was wasted. Thank you very much. I will give a 1 review.

Poorest services I have ever seen
While this may not be a fraud, but one of the poorest services I have ever seen.
I bought a ticket by VakaTrip on 23.04.2025 with the departure date 24.05.2025 (a month later). I did get a PNR from VakaTrip, but after checking directly with the airline, it turned out that the departure time was way different than it was marketed by VakaTrip. I immediately asked for a refund, the same day.
Then the whole 30 days we had a communication every day (i have counted 64 messages in total), VakaTrip claimed they had filed a cancellation request by the airline. Only after I called the airline, a bit more than 24 hours before the departure, should I find out that no cancellation request was registered by the airline!!
I started to believe that this might be a fraud. Only after it got escalated internally (in my opinion), VakaTrip agreed to refund the ticket, only within 24h until the flight departure.
If the refund was within a few days from the request, it would have been a 5* service. But after facing this experience, this is 1* "service". This is what makes all the difference.

First, after verification, your order has been fully refunded to the original payment account. You can pay attention to the receipt of the account.
Second, regarding the flight time issue you raised, after verification, it was due to the operation of the airline, the ticket time was adjusted, which is why the original flight time you saw was inconsistent with the latest time. We only found out about this after we received your feedback and verified it.
Third, after the ticket was issued, because you could not accept the changed time, you requested a full refund, but because the latest flight status was normal and there was no change, it did not meet the policy of involuntary refunds, so we needed to contact the airline and our ticketing supplier for negotiation. In the end, VakaTrip paid you the full amount, which was also the reason for the longer process review.
Finally, we are deeply sorry for the bad experience you have brought to you, and we will also adopt your opinions.We will continue to improve our service quality in the future.
