It’s 5 days old. Major defect!
Going to consumer affairs.
I would give 0 if I could do not buy ANYTHING FROM THEM. I purchased a scooter, read some horrifying reviews and immediately emailed them to cancel the shipment, to which they agreed, even stating that they will hold the item aside for me. Instead of issuing the refund like I asked, theys tried to intentionally sell me something else, which I denied and pleaded for a refund. Later on they magically changed their mind saying it was already shipped and the best they could do was store credit. After letting them know their service was absolutely appalling they changed their mind AGAIN, claiming they could now issue a refund. It gets worse. They called the consignment company and got them to send the scooter back to them without notifying me, they've also kept my money, this is blatant theft. I am owed $630 for a scooter they refused to refund and took back on their own accord with 0 correspondence. I can't even begin to express how immoral, unethical and illegal this is. This is beyond unacceptable
The tyres are smooth in the centre 35mm which is the main riding area of the tyre. That is not just unroadworthy, but dangerous. The other day saw me come off the scooter because of the complete lack of traction of the tyre.
I put a similar review on Valk's site but they removed it. Oh dear, "we don't want our feelings hurt"?!
The side stand is so badly angled, that the slightest touch makes the scooter fall over.
I complained to Valk. Three times. They only referred me to Harvey Norman, but there was a lot of unsatisfactory ducking and diving, as to my complaint. They just duck shoved me on to Harvey Norman from whom I bought the device...and BTW, their customer service was excellent, but the outcome was ZERO for me.
Valk's "customer service was appalling?!
Just to demonstrate this is not a fake review, here is the SKU: TRNESCVAF5NA.
Every review I've done on Trust Pilot for the last five years have been deleted. So, go figure?!
Further to the operation of the escooter, when the back brake is applied, the motors lock up, and that makes you pitch forward badly.
Unbelievably stupid design?!!!
