I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.
In November 2025, I transferred funds to Vanex after they confirmed both the exchange rate and the amount I would receive in Canada. They acknowledged receiving the full amount, and I was expecting to receive about $21,000 CAD. To date, I have only received $6,000, and the remaining $15,000 has not been paid.
Over several weeks, I was given different explanations â including bank delays, holds, and promises of follow-ups â but no firm payment date. When I visited their Coquitlam branch, I met multiple other customers facing the same issue: deposits made, but payouts delayed or not delivered.
A representative also acknowledged that the business was facing financial difficulties. Despite this, they continued posting exchange rates and appeared to operate as usual, without providing clear timelines or written commitments for repayment.
I have reported my case to the RCMP, BC Financial Services Authority, and Small Claims Court, and Iâm currently pursuing legal action to recover the unpaid amount.
Iâm sharing this review so others are aware of my experience. I hope Vanex will resolve outstanding payments and communicate clear timelines to affected customers. Until then, I would advise others to proceed with caution.
