Picked up my van today, really pleased with the ford transit custom and Dan has been very helpful

Stay clear, brought a van with 32k miles and have had issues from day one!
Oh but it’s used, so that means it can have engine issues at 34k miles! The warranty isn’t worth the time of day! 1k miles warranty it’s a van, it’s not for a trip to the supermarket once a week!!

You have be warned!

Excellent service from start to finish. They had a great choice of vans and we were able to pick up the vans within 48 Hours.

Customer service was super here, we visited several times and got a friendly welcome and all the questions we had were answered. True to their word, there was no pressure to buy there and then. We bought a VW California from Birmingham Van Centre. Very good choice of vehicles to choose from. Very helpful staff who made the purchase a pleasure, not pushy at all. We dealt with Darren who was excellent, very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He arranged for us to store the vehicle onsite while our driveway was widened and was very accommodating when our work overran by a few weeks.
I would have no hesitation buying from Birmingham Van Centre again.

This is obviously a fleet seller on the whole so I appreciate dealing with a single vehicle purchase maybe a little outside the company's skill set.
However, we purchases a Caddy van from this company on late October and paid for the vehicle cash up front so an easy sell for them so no finance, no trade in. Initial documents were sent out in the wrong name when we asked for them to be changed were told it didn't really matter. No log book was supplied for the vehicle until we had to badger them to contact the DVLA and have it sent (still waiting). And now because we have just recieved the logbook we have now also got a £230 fine for an untaxed vehicle as we never recieved a notice for tax because ownership was not transferred for 4+ months. This company illegally delivered the vehicle to us as the vehicle was driven to us untaxed.
At one stage during the purchase process I could not get answers and only after asking to speak to the manager did we get progress.
The delivery process was also extremely haphazard and we could not get actual times or contacts regarding the delivery and the agent we worked with was not at all proactive in following up so we had peace of mind as to where our vehicle was.
Since having the vehicle I have contacted 'our' agent regarding a couple of questions and the responses have been of little assistance.
On the whole a customer service nightmare. Luckily there is a silver lining; the vehicle has been brilliant so far.

The sad thing is we are probably in the market for another VW van later this year...but we know where we won't be going.

Bought a van from Birmingham Can Centre last November 2022. Had several issues with it including EDF valve warnings. Took it to a Vauxhall dealer and they diagnosed the following: 2 x Nox sensors need replacing, 2 of the 4 glow plugs need replacing, They also did a Heakth check and found that the rear brake disks were dangerously corroded. When I spoke to Birmingham Van Centre they claimed it was due to the short journeys my driver was making (in fact we do not do short journeys). Claimed they had replaced the brakes as part of the MOT prior to sale but when asked for proof they could not produce any. Very unhelpful and unsympathetic. Has cost me nearly £900 so far with more work to come. Avoid them.

Purchased my Vauxhall Vivaro from BVC on a recommendation from someone who has also purchased 2 previous vans from them. Dan dealt with the purchase and was always on hand for any questions I had. All of them are top lads, very knowledgeable and always go the extra mile to make sure your purchase goes smooth. Would definitely use then again in the future.

I would very much recommend Birmingham Van Centre as a very good seller. I bought my nearly new van from them. This was handled professionally, and all my questions were answer without hesitation.

Don't go anywhere else, I went to 4 other local 'ish places and a lot of vans I saw were poor.
Most vans at Birmingham van centre are all low mileage and 1 owner. I picked up an absolute mint 18 plate transit xlwb for a super price. Dale the salesman was on the ball answering all my questions and got the van looking like new. He is a credit to the company and also the friendly girl who did me a coffee was a bit fit. Well deffo use these guys again, Matt x
