VectorVest has provided me with tools to find and invest in companies with solid fundamentals: safe, under-valued, rising sales, rising earnings, and so on. VV's powerful search engine finds these candidates in seconds. Backtesting through up and down markets provides me with the confidence to know what to buy, when to buy, and when to sell.

In addition, VV has provided tools to protect my portfolio from significant downturns: signals to take defensive action, protective puts, tightening of stops, collar trades, and others strategies.

VectorVest's graphs are invaluable in showing what's important and rapidly screening candidate investments.

Great investing advice I strongly recommend to everyone that needs to manage their investment in the right way.

VV is great for momentum investing and trading. Their proprietary EPS indicator is one of the best leading indicators of stock prices I've seen. The auto-trader option allows you to backtest a portfolio. Four stars as they could improve on their balance sheet analysis - to my knowledge no ROE or debt servicing measures. VV7 needs updating for a more modern interface.

They deliver what they promise

There is NO better service out there regarding investing and / or trading, period!

There is ZERO emotion involved if one follows their strategies which are ALL rules based, can't do better than that!

Fantastic program for a lazy fundamentalist. A summary of all fundamentals are consolidated into just 2 Indicators and even the standard package (without tech add-ons) has the capability to allow for tech entries. Best value for money package on the market.

I feel confident that in about 15 min per day I can stay on top of my 20 stocks. Prior to VV I spent hours each week calculating/searching for information that is readily available in VV in a graphical format. This allows me to quickly flip through each stock & identify whether they are doing ok or if a deeper dive is required.

They have all the latest information and keep me well informed. Keep up the good work.

I've been a VectorVest customer for many years. They provide consistently good investment information that can be consistently used to help make some money.

As a position trader, VectorVest quickly list strong potential stocks.
Exits (when to sell) have been a trouble area for me. VectorVest removes the emotions from exits.

Detailed analysis. But a bit expensive

Looking at the Stock Market is a breeze with VV. The only thing I had some trouble with was pulling data from my 401k for analysis.
I am mainly a dividend investor, with some interest in growth as well. Stocks like MAIN are my primary interest. I earn about 6K a month in dividends.

1 - the product works well, but it's grotesquely overpriced if you don't use it constantly. Unless you're a professional trader, paying $900/year for this service is a stretch, and they provide no better option for occasional users like myself. Then they bombard you with upsell offers for you to spend even more on various classes and events.

2 - they refuse to provide export or import capability, making it unnecessarily laborious to enter data, and impossible to export ratings if you prefer having the ability to manage data in Excel, as I do.

3 - their app is written in a way that it does not auto-update, and they actually expect users to manually close and re-open the app every day, if you prefer to just leave it running.

4 - inconsistent customer "support" that is often ineffective, slow to respond, sometimes apathetic to your needs, and unable to actually resolve any issues. They also make the presumption that everyone wants to (or can) call them and will sometimes refuse to provide support via email, depending on the preferences of the rep you reach, rather than the *CUSTOMER* preferences.

5 - they ignore all feedback (such as that above) and then have the nerve to ask for a Trustpilot review. OK, you got it. This is the honest truth from someone who's been a customer since 2019.

1/24/25 Update - they sent response shown below but they DO have my contact info because the only reason this review exists is because THEY SENT ME A REQUEST FOR A REVIEW. I also do not take inbound calls and have told them (repeatedly) to mark my account as email contact only. And I HAVE contacted them (multiple times) about all of these issues and they were NO help. Their response was consistently "we can't - sorry". The fact that they're now trying to do public damage control, trying to appease someone who's called them out accurately for their shortcomings and refusal to address them should tell you all you need to know. They HAVE no solutions - if they did, they'd implement them and I'd be the first one to update this review to give them a glowing 5-star review. Until then, buyer beware.

Keeps me focused…helps drown out all the noise from Wall Street to help me design a successful portfolio without the short term viewpoint of the street

Helps bundle together stocks that fit certain search requirements. Great visual graphs and lots of tutorials available. Would say it is due an update of the interface and UI experience. Glad the price remained the same several years on, although I’m not able to buy the annual package. Bit too expensive ..

I think we are paying too much for your services in addition the stock quotes in the VV app is delayed sometimes significantly, why is that? I find the stock rating system is also lagging in terms of how you rate buy, sell or hold. It’s too late to catch the turn around as we are working in dynamic changing markets today.
