Terrible beyond words

Terrible. Never sent me my emissions paperwork. Phone most days. Emissions team always have nobody available. Take a message and nobody calls back or sends over paperwork. Assume it’s some sort of scam as I signed something via messenger for an Indian call centre to pass me onto here. How can a solicitors be this unprofessional. Will look for an alternative solicitors.

SCAM ALERT

Not sure about this company- alarm bells ringing, they require too much information for an emissions claim. Get your signature just to apply then superimpose it on to legal documents that say you are responsible for paying their fees. A request for your bank details will surely follow at some point. They also want a copy of your passport, utility bill etc! Identity theft springs to mind. AVOID.

Following your recent review, we understand that a member of our Diesel Emissions client experience team has reached out to clarify the claims process with you and to provide reassurance.

To confirm, our Diesel Emissions claims are handled strictly on a No Win, No Fee basis. Our legal documentation further refers to a clause regarding ‘After the Event insurance’ that protects you from any liability for the defendant’s legal costs.

Venus Legal does not request any banking details, until a settlement is reached and we have a full verification system in place to protect you from the increased risk posed by cyber fraud. In response to the request for identification documents, this is a standard legal practice under UK law for identity verification and anti-money laundering regulations.

We trust any concerns have been rectified following our call with you and we thank you for the opportunity to respond to your queries.
