I was happy that I got a face to face appointment. The doctor listened, checked my problem, was pleasant and friendly, just like the old days. I left feeling very happy with the doctors professional approachable manner

Appointment on time. Nurse friendly, helpful and professional. Did not feel like being hurried out the door.

HCA Sam Paffey was ready to go and all prepared as I entered to the room. She had very good people skills and had planned future date prior to me walking in the room. She was very efficient.

I booked my nurse appointment via NHS app and it was quick and easy to use. The app gave me multiple dates and times I could choose from which was great as I am a patient working full time and trying to book around meetings etc used to be a nightmare. Stakes lodge staff were polite and friendly. I was in and out literally in a few minutes for a warfarin blood check. Very efficient service.

Blood pressure stable, no need for increase in meds. Dealt with efficiently.

The friendliness of the staff makes the experience good, in my opinion. Sometimes you need reassurance when you arrive at a surgery. I have always found the reception staff and medical staff very helpful and very understanding especially as visiting a doctors surgery is quite different now since Covid took place.

I had a phone call from the nurse to confirm an appointment date and time 2 weeks prior to the actual appointment. All fine. The day before the appointment, I received a text reminder informing me the time had changed from 1600 to 1330. Fine, I re-organised my work schedule. When I turned up for the appointment at 1330, I was told there was a 'glitch on the texting system' and the appointment was in fact still 1600, in 2.5 hours time. There was no apology from the male receptionist (don't know his him). He was unhelpful, none apologetic and even accused me of being confrontational which certainly was not the case. I tried to explain to him his customer care manner was very poor but he would not relent and basically still didn't apologise. Also, my wife had the same experience and as a dental hygienist had to reschedule all her appointments twice. Very frustrating and unprofessional experience. A female member of staff did apologise and explain they were having problems with the texting system. Shame her colleague didn't have this approach

On time and the nurse was very helpful in me understanding symptons to watch for etc in connection to diabetis 2

We had a diabetic review with Emma the Diabetic Nurse. Emma was very professional advising the use of insulin and Sitagliptin. Her care and concern was amazing !! Thankyou

Had a very positive first appointment at the Forest End Surgery. Dr Fleischer was very helpful and I also received a prompt SMS message about my enquiry regarding physiotherapy appointments. Thank you.

This one star is not only for one issue experienced in practice, but long coming. I know some people may have a different positive experience than me but the following is what I have personally experience in the pass 12 months: My Issues: Front desk rude and dismissive, phone line always 25+ people waiting and after 60 minutes line drops, online booking never working, Doctors see you as a day quota number, 30+ minutes waiting in reception to see a doctor when you manage to get a booking. I have experience nearly a half a dozen different practice in the past 10 year, some Great and some okay, but Vine Medical is by far the worst experience I have had. When comparing Vine Medical to the okay practices I have experience, the okay practices feels like 4/5 stars. Seriously contemplating re-registering with my old practice which is a 25 minutes drive.

What a great experience
I am a 62 year old man and went to my appointment on Thurs 18th at 8.50 am I saw Dr Dirham for the first time
He was very professional polite and listen to my problem coupled with reviewing my hospital notes before he fully examined me before he gave me any feedback.

He is without question the best doctor I have seen in 20 years.

I just want to say he is a great asset to Vine medical group

This used to be the best surgery around - then it joined The Vine Medical Group, what a disaster. I personally knew a doctor, a nurse and a receptionist here and even they couldn't wait to leave. I used to be able to book a doctors appointment for whatever illness I had or thought I had online and they were readily available. That option has gone. Medicines/ prescriptions I was on have been taken off without my consent and I have had to write to my doctor to get these back.
The one star is given for the fact that twice I have had to attend here now and on both occasions the once busy waiting room was empty! On both occasions it was to see a nurse not a doctor! I feel very sorry for the staff who work for this failing surgery - at lest I can leave
