Initially, listening to my drills and song recordings was painful, and every note sounded strained and forced. With her guidance and suggested exercises, my singing has become much smoother and more comfortable. Each day, I grow more confident—though I’m not yet ready to record my own music, I’m getting closer with each step.

This is definitely a new take on traditional voice lessons. With zoom and online programs becoming much more accessible, AM Vocal Studios has definitely been a great experience.

I don't have a formal music background. I tried learning piano and guitar on my own as a kid. I was in church choir but never received any feedback from anyone. I only got so far, but that was before the internet became what it is today.

Prakhar has been my coach and Belu is my "coach in the pocket." Both of them have been extremely helpful in my development. Prakhar and Belu have given me actionable steps to improve while the program itself contains a lot of the self-study material. Much like many things in life, you get what you put into this program. My range has expanded and I'm able to sing more confidently.

Obviously some people are "gifted" with an amazing voice, but I now understand that the voice is just another instrument. From what I understand, the coaches that guide the students weren't "naturally born" singers either. Adam Mishan selected his staff because they learned how to sing the same way he did. This provided me with a lot of encouragement to continue with daily practice which so far has yielded some great results.

I don't plan and never have planned on becoming a recording artist. Music has always been a big part of my life and culture, and I've always wanted to be an active participant in music not just a listener. At the end of the day Prakhar and Belu have helped and continue to help me become a better musician overall.

Carla is a fantastic coach! She pinpointed exactly what I needed to work on and provided tailored exercises that actually work. I’ve already seen a major difference in my pitch and tone. Highly recommended!

I've been working with several of the Vocal Coaches and they all have been wonderful. Carla is very knowledgeable and been helping me break really bad habits. I've also worked with Belu and she also is amazing. I feel like I'm finally finding my singing voice.

Best Vocal Investment I could have made. I wanted someone to listen and really tell me how to practice to make all my singing better, not just this song or that song. That's what Belu did for me. She gave me positive criticism and exercises that would correct and improve all aspects of my singing. With 15 minutes a day the improvement has been amazing! I'm not ready to cut an album or anything but after 4 weeks what a difference!

This program was worth every penny! Coach Prakhar gave me exercises during my private sessions that made an instant difference in my tone and the daily feedback from the videos I sent in really challenged me! Absolutely recommend them!

I have had a very good experience with AM Vocal and coaches Belu and Carla. Carla has been my main singing teacher on the private lessons and is fantastic. She gives brilliant tips that improve the voice quickly during lessons. We are working at a fast pace and the improvements are coming quickly. I am a brand new singer who could not sing before. Carla is extremely experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I have fun during the lessons and am also making faster progress than I imagined. The lessons are recorded so you can repeat the lessons and have a bank of exercises to keep improving. I have also just started using the coach in a pocket with Carla so I can share videos and get tips and feedback during the week between lessons. If you want to learn to sing or improve your technique, I would 100pc recommend Carla and AM vocal.

I really enjoy working with my instructor Katarina and the AM Vocal Studios, she is very knowledgeable and patient. I feel I am improving in steps to be more confident in my singing journey and having fun doing it.

I have been very happy with this company. The owner, Adam, is very welcoming and professional and it was a pleasure being introduced by him to the course. I was given lessons by Prakhar, and he was a gem. He was pleasant, upbeat and very professional also. He himself has a beautiful voice! Prakhar taught me fundamentals of singing, tailored to my particular skill level, and helped me connect with a part of me, my youthful voice, which I had been missing for many years. I loved learning from Prakhar, and I am going back to him after a brief hiatus I must take. 5 stars all the way.

I have had a very encouraging experience thus far. When I booked my initial free lesson I had a zoom meeting with Steven Elbaz. He was extremely helpful and encouraging giving hope that I could actually learn to sing. Also working with me to select a program that would work for me. My current coach Prakhar Saxena has been amazing. We did the analysis during the first meeting and assigned exercises for homework and discussed my song choice. I just finished my second class with Coach Prakhar I learned so much listening to him as he worked with my fellow students. His professionalism, skills and ability to instruct students at different skill level. Each on their own journey yet at the same time keeping the rest of the group engaged in the learn process was awesome. Honestly I am starting from scratch as far as understand most everything. Yet, Coach Prakhar provide additional tools, exercise and genuine encouragement building my confidence that I can do this. This is more than a dream or even a goal for me. This is going to provide the skills, abilities and instrument for me to sing my person testimony worship songs to share the gospel of Jesus Christ as I have been charge by my Lord.

Prakhar is a great teacher. When I sing, he does a great job of identifying areas where I need to improve and helping me find ways to correct my issues. He explains the exercises and the reason behind them very clearly, and I feel like the things he has had me focus on have made a huge difference in my singing ability and confidence. It has been really helpful!

I have had a great experience with AM Vocal Studios. I felt improvement after one lesson. Prakhar has been an excellent coach in the semi private lessons. I highly recommend him and AM Vocal Studios!

Carla & Belu are fantastic vocal coaches! They've helped me understand the skills required of singing, from knowing nothing to now knowing some really important (& likely very basic!) things - like soft palette position & diaphragm support. They are both SO encouraging and supportive and really tailor exercises to the individual. More recently most of my lessons have been with Carla & I really appreciate her creativity in some of the things she's had me do, to help me understand how much our whole body is involved in singing (not just the voice). I highly recommend both Belu & Carla & the program itself - I look forward to the weekly sessions & am so grateful to receive these amazing group lessons from them! :)

Prakhar is an outstanding singing coach. He explains singing in a way that’s clear, practical, and actually makes sense—no confusing jargon, just techniques you can understand and apply right away. In just 7 weeks of coaching, I noticed improvement… but the real proof? My wife noticed too (which honestly says everything ).

What really sets Prakhar apart is how motivating he is as a teacher. His passion for singing is contagious, and he makes you want to keep learning and pushing yourself. He creates a supportive environment where progress feels achievable, even when you didn’t think you had it in you.

Because of his guidance, I’m more confident, more consistent, and genuinely excited about continuing my vocal journey. Do I sing as amazingly as he does yet? Not quite—but with Prakhar as a coach, I’m hopeful… maybe one day

Carla has been great! I am about half way through my lessons. Carla is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. I’m 65 and have never had any formal training but i do see improvement in my voice and I am enjoying the process.
The lessons are very organized and fun and well ! Looking forward to the rest of the program. Thank you Carla
