I am the original 'Bug Lady', breeding and supplying many types of creepy crawly pets. My little home business has now been going for over 40 years, in the last few years I have found myself being called the ‘Spider Lady’ more often than not. Trends are continually changing and arachnids are far more popular than they have ever been before. I have a bug room at the side of our house that is dedicated to keeping a multitude of creatures. Since moving out of London in 2003, my work is mainly postal, so many things have changed over the years. My first online store was set up in 2009 and in October 2012 my current online store went live, the photographs are larger and clearer, the information is more comprehensive and the online ordering is simpler and therefore easier to use. Even I find it hard to believe that I once sent out paper catalogues and waited for customers to post me their orders and cheques. I am still readily accessible by email and telephone and I strive to maintain my position as the most friendly and reliable bug supplier!

Always recommend

Always recommend, spiders arrived safely and in beautiful condition as usual. One of a small handful of people we buy from, always happy to answer any questions and send pictures of the pets you are interested in.

Healthy spider but they were packed upside down

Healthy spider but they were packed upside down :( It was still and very slow to respond for a bit. After about half an hour it was acting normally. Considering how reputable and longstanding this seller is I was disappointed to see it had been packed and spent the journey to me upside down.

I'm glad to hear your spider turned up healthy. As you can imagine, the animals experience movement when in transit, therefore it doesn't matter which way up they start, or end up on arrival! I make sure all are packaged in moss or cotton wool, to securely cushion their travels.

Would def recommend

Love Virginia I have bought loads from her in the past and always well packaged and fast delivery. Even got 2 free spoods. They all happy, well fed and alive. Thanks again hun xxx

Always excellent service and quality specimens.

We've ordered tarantula's from Virginia for many years, we have just lost our lovely Salmon Pink after having her for 18 yrs so just had to have another from our favourite lady. You know you'll received good service and quality products ALWAYS.
