AprÚs seulement un an la chaussure est tellement abîmée (déchirée, semelle qui se décolle, coutures cassées) que je ne peux plus marcher avec (pourtant je ne suis pas difficile avec les marques dâusuresâŠ!). Là ce nâest pas de lâusure, câest difficilement acceptable pour une marque qui pratique des prix aussi élevésâŠ
Durée de vie : trois mois
Chaussures qui, comme cela a déjà été signalé ici, ne durent que quelques mois. AprÚs trois mois d'utilisation irréguliÚre (3-4 jours par semaine, pas même un port quotidien/intensif !), des bosses commencent à apparaitre sur le faux cuir et, en fin de compte, des trous sont apparus au niveau des chevilles de chaque chaussure. J'ai contacté Virón World avec des photos (que je téléchargerais ici si je pouvais) en leur expliquant le problÚme, zéro feedback. Qualité déplorable, expérience décevante du tout au tout, je déconseille cette marque.
Disappointing Build Quality - Progres 2 Metal
I first discovered Viron on Mats Rombautâs Instagram and was especially drawn to the design, ethical production in Portugal, and use of appleskin leather. Despite the high price of 250â¬, I believed the quality and values justified the cost.
However, after just a few months, the heel seam split, the right shoe detached from the sole, and the left is following suit. The leather is also peeling easilyâfar from the durability promised. This material and build quality are completely unacceptable for a 250⬠shoe. Whatâs worse, I contacted Viron support two months ago and have yet to receive any response. Their customer service is equally disappointing.
Avoid - the company is a scam
Avoid this company like the plague. I have been having an issue with them for nearly 12 months now, and they are ignoring my emails. I tried to send something back, which failed to deliver. They told me to try sending it again and that they would pay for the return (over £20) but when it failed to deliver a second time, I asked them to honour their promise, they told me it was beyond the return window (obviously true as it had taken me two failed attempts!) and they could no longer help me. I have since had to seek advice from Trading Standards and Citizens Advice, which is a huge headache and I am still no closer to a resolution. Terrible customer service - not worth the hassle.
My experience with Viron has been long â initially very satisfying but ultimately disappointing.
I loved my first pair of Viron boots: great style, very comfortable. But after just a couple of months, the upper skin began to dissolve, and within weeks they looked terrible â despite me being very careful with them.
I contacted the store where I bought them and also reached out directly to the company. I was impressed by their customer service at that point â they respected the warranty and sustainability claims, and offered me a replacement pair. That made me feel seen as a customer, and I appreciated it.
Given the first experience, I was anxious about the second pair, so I became even more careful with them. And it worked⊠sort of? The upper skin started dissolving again after 2 months but this time it began just with on one shoe (progress, I guess?). Eventually, of course, the second shoe followed.
When I asked for a refund, their response was a 30% discount on a future purchase. Honestly â do they really think Iâd ever buy these shoes again? Especially considering these low-quality-boots cost a ridiculous â¬220?
Dear Viron:
If your mission statement claims to âminimize waste while prioritizing resource conservationâ, I suggest directing greater effort towards improving product quality. Selling two pairs of defective boots and offering a discount on future purchases hardly aligns with such values â if anything, it encourages more waste, both in resources and customer trust.

Ich habe Online zum wiederholten Male Schuhe bei Virón gekauft.
Dieses Mal war die Ware leider nicht wie beschrieben und viel anders aus. Kein Problem dachte ich mir, und habe entsprechend per Mail eine Retoure des Produktes angefragt. Diese wird jedoch verweigert. Wieso verstehe ich nicht genau, Online gibt es ja nicht umsonst ein 14-tÀgiges Widerrufsrecht. Dies scheint der Firma jedoch egal zu sein. Ich solle die Ware doch einfach selbst weiterverkaufen wird mir empfohlen.
Auch wenn dies bereits mehr als nebulös ist, habe ich freundlicherweise eine Abrechnung via Gutschein angeboten. Seitdem werde ich vom Kundendienst ignoriert. Man sollte bei einem Kauf hier vorsichtig sein. Retouren werden wohl vom Hersteller bewusst unterschlagen.

Place the order as express delivery 2-3 working days , 14 days later no parcel, almost impossible for any one from viron team to contact me no explanation and so fare no money refund. Customer service is so bad it makes me so angry!!

ich habe meine classic viron im sommer gekauft und kaum getragen, als ich sie im winter ca 2 monate getragen hatte, begann sich die oberste schicht des "leders" abzulösen... als ich mit dem kundendienst kontakt aufgenommen habe und ihnen eine lange und sehr nette mail mit fotos zu meinem problem geschickt habe, bekam ich nur die antwort "da können wir nichts machen aber du bekommst % fÌr deinen nÀchsten einkauf bei uns" Wieso sollte ich nochmal schuhe um 250⬠kaufen die dann gleich kaputt gehen??? (auch wenn sie dann vielleicht nur 200⬠kosten)
da dachte ich noch vielleicht war es eine fehlproduktion aber sonst hÀtte der kundendienst anders reagiert..
ich war gerade auch bei einem guten fachmann fÃŒr schuhreperatur, der mir gesagt hat, wÀren es lederschuhe hÀtte man sie reparieren können aber mit diesem material kann ich sie wegschmeiÃen...
ich bin wirklich sehr dafÃŒr alternativen fÃŒr tierische produkte zu finden aber das hier kann ich echt nicht empfehlen!
fazit: sehen cool aus aber der kundenservice und vor allem das material/qualitÀt hab ich so schlecht noch nie erlebt... schade!

Great Design, But Terrible Customer Service & Refund Issues
Virón makes beautifully designed shoes, but their customer service is the worst Iâve ever experienced.
I ordered two pairs of shoesâone was refunded, but Iâm still chasing my money for the other. I was initially promised an exchange, returned the shoes as instructed, and then after weeks of waiting, they told me my size was no longer available. Despite their mistake, Iâve had to repeatedly follow up for my refund, and they are now unresponsive.
This whole process has been frustrating and unprofessional. I really hope they improve their service, but right now, I canât recommend buying from them unless youâre certain you wonât need to return or exchange anything.

Being fond of the design of Viron shoes, I bought a pair on the 6th of June 2024 in the summer sale. Soon my order arrived.
Although I thorougly checked my size through the guide on the website, the shoes were too small. No problem, the shoes could be returned/changed by sending them back to their portuguese warehouse. Costs are on the buyer.
After asking for another size, and several ignored mails from my part about the wereabouts of the shoes, I got a confirmation that they had arrived in the warehouse and would be changed for a bigger size on the 4th October 2024 (3 months after purchase). At this point the original color was out of stock, so it would be another color.
No problem, I was glad I would be receiving them finally and would be able to wear them. Little would I know that also this pair was too small. Add with this a material that isn't quite flexible and I had to admit the Viron shoes were not for me.
So I sent them back and that was the last I heard from Viron. Up until now I haven't had any information arrival of the shoes in the warehouse, lost shoes or a refund.
I am writing this on 7th of February (8 months after purchase) and it is almost time for the next summersale. I would love to give them a positive review, but that is nearly impossible.
If you're planning to buy shoes here, be sure you have seen and tried them somewhere. It will make your life easier.
Company will not give you a refund
Like many others, I returned a pair of shoes to the company and there has only been radio silence despite my shoes arriving in the warehouse three weeks ago. It's ridiculous for a so-called ethical brand to treat people like this and clearly it's a pattern of behaviour.
I'm a journalist and plan on collecting cases of people who have returned items and not received their refund. I plan on reaching out to authorities with a bunch of cases to highlight this company's malpractices. Les chaussures ont deux mois. 250 euros et la semelle s'enlÚve déjà : c'est une honte. En plus de ça malgré l'évidence du coté défectueux on me refuse tout dédommagement, malgré photos à l'appui : à fuir.
Comment espérer que je recommande chez vous aprÚs cette expérience et votre refus de dédommagement ? C'est dommage car vos chaussures sont belles.
