Volunteering in Kenia was amazing, I did with my father.
I was part of the teaching program and had the chance to work with some amazing students who were eager to learn. The school environment was super welcoming, and the staff were all really passionate about making a difference. It was awesome to see the kids grow and become more confident in their studies. The whole experience was eye-opening, and I left with so many great memories and a deeper connection to the community. Would definitely recommend it!

My experience with Cooperating was really bad!
I did my volunteering in India, and the family from guesthouse was very rude with me and make me feel unconfortable all the week.
Moreover, all of their program is a business. I work in Social Ambit, and I can make sure that all they do for the kids, animals and orphan school is much less than it seems.
If I had the oportunity to go back to the past, I wouldn’t do anything with them. Please, do not waste your money.
Do not colaborate with an ONG that earns money with other’s poverty.

I’ve been with them 3 times in different countries, and my favorite by far was in India! My experience there was amazing! I recommend to everyone who is looking for a volunteering to join that program! 10/10

Me llamo Kassandra y soy de Barcelona (España). Realicé el programa de 3 semanas en la India en Enero de 2024 y todavía lo recuerdo como si fuera ayer. El programa que elegí fue: Mujeres emprendedoras, pero, por suerte pude también enseñar inglés. Desde el principio estaba todo organizado, comunicación al 100% y sobretodo, mucha ayuda. Cuando llegué a la India, el equipo me recibió. Era Uncle Shiva y su hija Deepshika! Gracias a ellos y a su familia la experiencia fue tan increible… toda la familia me ayudó y gracias a ellos tuve una experiencia bien inmersiva con familias indias y conocer bien su cultura. El programa inclyye comida que cocina la familia y a mi me encantó. Tambien incluye transporta a la escuela. Todo el mundo es super agradecido. India es un pais increible. En el programa yo estuve Jaipur… una ciudad preciosa sin duda alguna y en tus horas libres hay mucho que hacer. Hasta gyms. También los findes puedes viajar y todo es impresionante. Quiero volver a la india!! Namaste forever. Gracias cooperating volunteeers por tan increíble experiencia que aunque no me lo crea, ha pasado ya un año!! Tengo un pedazo de la India en mi ser por siempre. Hasta la próxima!

Me fui a Arusha, tanzania y fue una experiencia única y tuve la oportunidad de conocer a personas muy especiales. Durante experiencia de voluntariado conocer distintos estilos de vida y te permite aprender y a la vez dar todo de ti en un proyecto. Cooperating Volunteers ofrece muchísima seguridad y confianza, ademas de informarte de como poder ayudar de forma efectiva y gratificante para todo el mundo. Recomiendo esta agencia y repetiría con ellos otra vez sin duda!

Hace unas semanas tuve la oportunidad de hacer un voluntariado junto una amiga sobre cuidado de niños en zanzíbar.
Me gustaría agradecer la hospitalidad del equipo local y lo fácil que se me ha hecho adaptarme y al equipo de coordinadores por su excelente organización, compromiso y dedicación, un servicio increíble tanto en la casa de voluntarios como en todas las actividades extras que han hecho vivir la experiencia completamente, en especial a malena mi coordinadora por ser una más de nosotras y sentir su apoyo constante.
Ha sido la mejor experiencia de mi vida y la repetiría mil veces, totalmente recomendable.

Before volunteering in tanzania I thought it was going to be a some what basic volunteer experience, personally I had done some some volunteering in my home country once a week for a year before going and as expected I thought my experience in tanzania would be similar to the one in madrid, however upon my arrival I quickly realised that it was going to be so much more than just taking care of kids. The truth is that it is so much more than that, volunteering with cooperating volunteers doesn’t just mean to volunteer it means to show respect amongst others and their communities to make new long lasting friendships, to create bonds with children and teachers throughout your stay but most importantly it teaches us the beauty of caring. The interesting thing about cooperating is that to really make a difference in your project you need to care, you need to take responsibility and if you want something done you do it your self, which for me was odd at first, we are all minors and all of a sudden we need to supervise the construction of a kitchen for instance, so you see if you want to do the best you possibly can for others you need to care or else you won’t get anything done, and that for me is something i wouldn’t have learnt any other way and it is one of those special things that cooperating volunteers has that I think no other organisation has. I stayed for three weeks and I would have stayed for even four. For me, everyone who can, should volunteer with cooperating because it is an experience like no other and three weeks I will hold very dearly in my heart! So personally if you’ve been thinking about volunteering do it because you won’t regret any second of it and it really is and experience like no other

La mejor experiencia de mi vida.

I had a lovely experience with cooperating during the 3 weeks I shared with them. I loved many things; between them the respect, the loyalty and the responsibility implied by the organization. Their values were clear and emphasized constantly which is something I valued. Also, the freedom we had and self responsibility was a very nice way of learning for future life experiences, as we were responsible for our actions constantly. I fully recommend Cooperating Volunteers as I enjoyed a lot the experience!

Cooperating volunteers es la organización perfecta para disfrutar y ayudar al mismo tiempo. Todas las coordinadoras son estupendas y el trato que me han dado y el cariño con el que me han tratado me ha hecho sentir como en casa siempre. La casa en la que nos alojamos estaba genial y se notaba mucho el interés que ponía la agencia por qué todos estuviéramos a gusto. Además, nos propusieron muchísimas actividades que nos hicieron disfrutar de la experiencia el triple. Yo alargué la estancia una semana más y volvería a repetir el viaje mil veces más con cooperating, son los mejores!

If the idea of volunteering has crossed your mind at some point, whether in your own country or abroad, my advice would be “don’t hesitate, and do it”. In January 2023 I made the decision to listen to that inner voice and go volunteer that June in Uganda for a month. I didn’t have many expectations about what could I find there, whether it would be long or short time, what my daily routine would be, or with whom I would share the experience… With an open mind and heart, willing to listen to my surroundings and listen to myself, I knew after a week in destination, that I wanted to stay all the summer time. So what was planned for one month ended up lasting two and a half months. However, not everything stopped there. In January 2024 I came back to Uganda to do my final year internship at the hospital for four months, also with Cooperating Volunteers, and by the time I finished my stay at the hospital, they have given me the opportunity to be a volunteer coordinator for this summer 2024.
Every word fails short to express the gratitude and happiness I feel in this place and towards the Cooperating team and management. Even today I look back, grateful for making the decision of travelling to Uganda and for all the people who have accompanied me along the way. Thank you Uganda for bringing me closer to myself, and for changing the way I see the world.
And to you, who is reading this, I would say yo encourage yourself without hesitation, to listen to yourself and leave aside those doubts that put yourself far from taking the step.

Sinceramente, fue el azar que me llevo a escoger cooperating y uganda, pero ha sido de las mejores decisiones de mi vida. Es una experiencia increíble y vivirlo con cooperating y sobretodo con el equipo de uganda lo ha hecho asi de especial. Tienen una forma real de enseñarte Uganda, su cultura, sus tradiciones etc y eso es mágico.

Sin duda alguna, la mejor experiencia de mi vida, y todo gracias a Cooperating. Organizaron todo de manera perfecta, transportes, paseos, safaris, la vida en el proyecto, etc. Siempre atentos a que te encuentres cómodo en todo momento y exprimas al máximo la experiencia. Los coordinadores siempre dispuestos a todo y con la mejor de las caras. De ahora en adelante siempre será mi primera opción ante este tipo de viajes, ya que además de darme la oportunidad de participar en un proyecto precioso, me dieron las facilidades y herramientas para empaparme con la cultura del país y de conocer a una nueva familia como lo fue la gente de la casa. Recomendado al 100% y gracias por todo coope, nos vemos 🖤

La verdad es que fue una experiencia increíble los coordinadores siempre me hicieron sentir cómoda y nos ayudaron en cada momento desde el día en que llegamos, nos contaron todo lo que podíamos hacer en Fort Portal y siempre nos guiaban con cada cosa que quisiéramos hacer.
La casa muy cómoda, en buen estado y la comida muy buena también, en fin la atención y el servicio fue excelente.
Realmente aprecie muchísimo toda la dedicación que le ponían para que todo saliera bien y nos sintiéramos como en casa.
Fue una experiencia increíble que sin dudas la voy a volver a repetir.

No tengo palabras para describir lo increíble que es viajar con esta agencia, yo personalmente viaje a Uganda y me gusto tanto que decidí volver a los dos meses. Ha sido una de las experiencias más enriquecedoras de mi vida en todos los niveles posibles y la repetiría sin dudarlo una y otra vez. Muchísimas gracias a carlota y a Jaime que hacen un trabajazo increíble para que todo funcione genial y vuelvas a casa con el corazón llenito y con muchísimas ganas de volver a vivir algo así.

Cooperating siempre será la mejor opción para viajar conscientemente. La responsabilidad que tienen con nosotros los voluntarios, es increíble. Cualquier situación es resuelta, cualquier idea es acogida con tal de ayudar desde el cuidado del equipo.

Son personas impactando positivamente todos los sitios a donde vamos. Repetiría mil millones de veces más.

Equipo local e internacional excepcional. Trato de 10 por parte de todo el equipo y proyectos muy variados dentro de lo seleccionado. A parte, se realizan diferentes programas para mejorar la comunidad como por ejemplo el programa de conservacion o empoderamiento de la mujer, junto con los ya conocidos como enseñanza, cuidado de niños y medico. De manera que dependiendo de tus preferencias puedes escoger un destino u otro que se adapte mas a las exigencias de uno mismo.

Experiencia inolvidable y muy enriquecedora, nos sentimos acompañados en todo momento por el equipo. Fueron 3 semanas geniales y de mucho aprendizaje cultural. Lo recomiendo muchísimo!!!

Volvería a repetir este voluntariado en Uganda todos los años si pudiese. Ha sido una experiencia única. Me he sentido súper acogido en todo momento, la gente, el país, los coordinadores te hacen sentir como en casa. Además, me he llevado amigos para toda la vida y una nueva familia. Gracias por todo, volveré pronto!!

Desorganización total, mi hija menor de edad se iba a ir este verano a Kenia pero debido a la falta de coordinación del equipo he decido cancelarlo.
No me fiaría enviando a un menor de edad con esta organización.
