Aila was very kind, patient and helpful as she looked for items, and called other store locations around the UK for my size. She wrote down styles and colors so I could order my size online when other store locations didn’t have it. She was wonderful.

A great fit, stylish and the material is of high quality.
This is my 1st purchase, but definitely not my last!

This was the first time ordering from Walker Slater, the first time ordering a suit from outside the country, and the first time ordering a tweed suit, so I was a bit anxious. But they answered all of my questions (and I appreciate their patience!), the suit arrived in about five days (to the US), and it seems well-made and fits amazingly well (although I am going to have to get used to wool trousers). I'm very happy with my experience and look forward to ordering more items from them.

Wonderfully made garment that looks about what I expected from the pictures (tweed is, of course, notoriously hard to photograph!) - and sizing instructions were very helpful in picking right size. Fast delivery. Great experience all around.

[UPDATE #2 - MAY 2026]:
We are now in May 2026. After I've sent multiple e-mails querying my order, all emails I've sent have gone unanswered.

I emailed on the following dates and all have been ignored:
- 15th April
- 23rd April
- 30th April
- 6th May

I've not heard back from Anna (or anyone from Walker Slater) since January.

This service is appalling and really lets down what I'd otherwise consider a good brand.

Walker Slater is a brand I used to get excited about, but when the customer service is this terrible, it doesn't foster a sense of customer loyalty in me, anymore.

Side note: Since posting this updated review (the May 2026 update), I received an e-mail from Trustpilot stating "walkerslater.com has flagged your review for containing harmful or illegal content", which is absolutely absurd. I've sent evidence to Trustpilot, proving that everything I've said is factually true and Trustpilot have since concluded that my review doesn't breach their guidelines. I've reported Walker Slater to Trustpilot for this clear abuse of the reporting system, as this isn't the first time they've attempted to remove or change a critical and HONEST review that I've left. What I find absurd is that they can ignore emails (as of 31/05/26, I've still not received a reply to any of my emails dated above), yet the moment a critical and HONEST Trustpilot review is posted about them, they can, in my case, respond to the review in some form the very next day.

[UPDATE - NOV 2025]: I have increased my review rating as since posting this review, I was contacted by Anna the next working day and I was given an update on my query. I appreciate finally being kept in the loop and not having to chase to see where things stand. Anna has made the effort to rectify my dissatisfaction and was proactive in calling and e-mailing me.

I've been informed my next update will be in January, so I hope this is a good sign of better communication moving forward.

For now, I can say it does feel like things are now progressing in the right direction.

I will update this review as time progresses, where my query is concerned.

Last year I purchased their Cruden Leather Chelsea Boots. I like them a lot so have been wanting to purchase a second pair, however, the website doesn't have my size instock.

I first called them last year to enquire about when more stock would come back in, where I spoke to their Buyer in the head office. The Buyer said they wouldn't be ordering more in any time soon and that I should call next year - specifically in September 2025.

As instructed, I called back this September and Spoke to Hannah and Anna. This is where all the problems started.
- They said they don't have any record of the shoes ever being stocked in my size.
- I provided them my order number for the pair I already own that evidences they did stock the size I'm after.
- Customer servive said they'd look into this and give me a call back.
- Neither Hannah or Anna ever called me back. I keep on having to chase for an update weeks after they said they'd call me back themselves and when I do speak to them, they don't have an update.

This appalling experience has been going on since September! (essentially 3 months) and still no update!

I was last told by Anna or Hannah on 22nd Oct 2025 (when I called to chase after not getting a call back), that they would put a reminder in their calendar to call me back on the Friday (24/10/25) - guess what? .... they never called me back! I'm fed up of being told I'll be contacted by [x] date and they never do!

I have never experienced such an appalling service. Disgraceful customer service experience.

I simply want to know when they will order the Cruden Chelsea boots in side 5.5 or 6 (which they told me they could do), yet they keep on failing to provide this simple update, despite promising to call me back on several occasions, but never do. Disgraceful experience which I find very insulting and disrespectful. It takes 3 months (and counting) to get a promised update? Seriously?!

Absolutely wonderful experience!
I went to a store in London and the lady there was incredibly helpful!
I do have to give a special shout out to the online support team as I needed a lot of help with changing vest and jacket sizes.
Anna, Hanna and Kim were incredible and very patient with all my never-ending questions.

Exceptional service by Evie. I couldn’t fault her knowledge of enthusiasm to help me find the best fit. I went in for a Ronay Shetland Tweed jacket, she helped with colour matches and fit and I left them with their tailor for sleeve length adjustments. This was complete within 3 days to a very high standard. As a result I purchased two beautiful jackets and will be returning soon. Thank you for your professionalism Evie. Kind Regards. Anna & John.

I have their francis jacket, alec jacket and hemingway jacket. Each of them are made with high quality fabric and great cut.

The in store service is impeccable - great advice, help in sourcing the desired pieces - even staying late with a slow - deciding customer!!

Great product! I was looking for a tote bag since some time ago and checked different options. This bag is excellent. Different compartments, beautiful Harris tweed (with different options in color).
