I was initially not very happy as we have used Etihad quite a few times from London to Manila return. I didn’t see Wamos mentioned until nearer the second leg of the flight and I was a bit concerned.... もっと見る
The worst airline I’ve ever flown with
Originally flying with Tui from Cancun to Gatwick who claimed that they had ‘unscheduled maintenance’ on their Dreamliner so changed the flight to Wamos air. Turns out this happens a lot!!
Having read the reviews I was very anxious and I had every right to be. The plane originally was a 2:4:2 configuration which you can see by the panels above the seats, but had been changed to a 3:3:3 to cram more seats in. The seats were like boards of wood with little cushioning, and so small that everyone was pretty much sat on top of each other and couldn’t even move their arms. The aisles were also so small that you have to walk sideways to get down them, and the trolley staff kept a banging into everyone. The whole flight a lot of people had to keep standing up as they were too uncomfortable in the seats, myself and my husband included. The food was the most disgusting I’ve ever had and the staff were rude, uninterested and unhelpful. The toilets were absolutely filthy with urine splashed everywhere and smelt so bad. The flight was also delayed by 2.5 hours, and seems they are delayed on most flights. The pilot didn’t even try to make up any time. This airline is barely adequate for short haul flights let alone a 10 hour flight. I ended my holiday very stressed and anxious, and now also in a lot of pain with my back and legs because of the seats. If I could give a zero I would!!

Used Tui for many holidays
Used Tui for many holidays , until we went to Mexico 18th November was looking forward to flying again on dreamliner, Then 30 minutes before I fly I get a txt message saying airplane changed to wamos , didn’t give me a chance to decide I would not have travelled had I known. Worst flight ever 11 hours on the most uncomfortable seats, no entertainment and no power points. Guess what on the 2nd December the same thing happened on the way back, tvs this plane had whoooo I thought but no headphones , tui will refund premium upgrade which Im waiting for and offered me a voucher for £100 pounds voucher 😆JOKE . I’m 6.5 and and big guy upgrade for a reason . Could tell you loads of other issues but Sadly this will be the last flying with tui, and looks like lots of other people feel the same will end up like Thomas cook, avoid at all cost on these long haul flights, they really don’t care on the communication front.I could also tell you of loads more issues but think most covered below
We have just flown from LGW to Punta…
We have just flown from LGW to Punta Cana…. Originally a TUI Dreamliner, but replaced by TUI due to maintenance issues. TUI are obviously aware of previous reviews and are doing all they can to reassure people from the moment you arrive at the departure gate. The plane was spotlessly clean, modern and the staff went out of their way to make it an enjoyable flight. A very smart move to have four TUI cabin staff working alongside the 12 Wamos staff. This helped with any language issues….. although entertainment was limited, it was on seat back screens. Ourselves and others had issues on checking in that the seats you thought you had were different when we got to the airport, but remember, this isn’t the cabin staff who allocated the seats….. be kind to them…. In our experience, they worked tirelessly….. as to be expected (unfortunately), there were a few moaners (in the very small minority)……Wamos/TUI thank you all for doing a great job
WAMOS refiew
We booked with Tui but returned from Cancun on WAMOS after Tui said there were technical difficulties with our return flight, which is apparently a common occurrence. The reviews were pretty poor but that’s not the experience we had. The flight was two hours late but once on the plane we were served with the meals we pre booked by Tui and WAMOS staff and looked after pretty well. There was plenty of legroom better than the Dreamliner in my opinion. There was in-flight entertainment from a seat back screen although other reviews had said there wasn’t.The USB power supply charging point actually worked, again unlike the Dreamliner.I would have given it five stars overall if not for the two hour delay. That said, overall it was a pretty decent service for what is a long flight really.
Put off flying…
Was told by TUI last minute flight to Cancun would be wamos reading the reviews I was very nervous, reviews not wrong. Absolutely horrendous flight. The actual flight was lovely no turbance, brilliant. There was only one working toilet on the plane for everyone! No soap no toilet roll and then that one broke. No entertainment, there's an app but that kept buffering and I didn't have earphones so couldn't watch. Seats and plastic cups were filthy!! Staff spilt a drink on my mother and ran into her foot with the drink trolley. Staff didn't understand you as Spanish and did not care if there was no soap/toilet roll a couple of tui staff who palmed off the toilet roll and soap complaint by saying wamos responsibility to refill .. sorry what.
There was an announcement as someone had a bad peanut allergy. We then later get served a snack that said may contain peanuts. No air con, change of seats couldn't sit where we wanted had originally paid for. The middle of the plane was chaotic litreally like feeding time at the zoo. Food served was cold and disgusting, no second meal as promised just just a sandwich. Poor flight.

I am leaving a copy of my TUI review here as apparently they seem to be linked now due to many TUI flights being changed at the last minute to Wamos who to be honest I have never heard of.
AVOID TUI BE WARNED!
Flight was changed by TUI to an airline called Wamos, well it was the worst 8 and a half hour flight I have ever been on, flight was actually delayed by an hour to start with due to Wamos not arriving on time and passengers were being disembarked whilst we were waiting in the boarding gate for over a hour and a half!
No onboard entertainment for a 8 1/2 flight! ( TUI offered a £15 refund. Come on TUI are you really only worth £15 more than Wamos ( read their reviews)
Plane was very cramped.
No leg room.
Seats where very uncomfortable (Ryan air style) really not on for a long haul flight.
Had to disembark via stairs and shuttle bus as Wamos did not park up at the main terminal and it was pouring with rain, just not on.
Even though TUI staff were on board we were not served by them only the Wamos cabin crew who were no where near as pleasant, trolley constantly bumping into my arms and legs.
Due to the small seats I was sharing mine with the slightly larger lady to the left of me.
Only managed to dose of for roughly an hour during the whole flight.
One passenger cut his foot/leg under the seat somehow, due to the run down dated seats.
Arm rests were so uncomfortable my arm was nub within half an hour.
Come on TUI is we book with you the least you can do is provide your own aircraft which is what we think we are getting when we book.
This is happening a lot now, according to the other passengers I spoke to who have flown TUI recently so they can’t keep using the old excuse it was due to unforeseen circumstances and maintenance issues.
I think they have removed there Dreamliners from service due to the increased cost of flying them and using this cheap substandard airline Wamos to just chuck customers on and try to make out that they have resolved an issue that they have caused themselves.
I don’t normally moan or leave feedback on here but I am so annoyed with the change to the way that TUI now run the business that I feel that doing this at least I am making others aware of what they might be walking into.
Better than expected
I will be honest, having had our flight changed from a dreamliner to Wamos and reading the reviews I was dreading this flight.
However, leg room was probably better than the usual TUI economy flights.
Crew were happy and apologetic it was either cancel the flight or this.
WIFI and entertainment package on the plane I would recommend taking a battery back as there is no where to charge phones
That would be my only complaint no TVs in the headrest and no charging ports..
Wow great flight better than Air New Zealand
Air New Zealand switched my flight to Wamos Air from Auckland to Perth. Initially, I was a bit worried due to the reviews on this site. However, there was no need to worry as I have to say I had a fantastic flight with them. The staff were very friendly, provided great service, very polite, great food and hospitality.
This flight was far better than Air New Zealand with I used on the way out.
A beautifully equipped business class which I believe has had a remodel for this route.

If I could put no stars, I would. Tui emailed us 5 days before flight from Cancun to Gatwick to say our aircraft has changed to Wamos. However my emails were not working out there so I had the news delivered to me at the airport.
The plane had no tv screens and no charging ports. Several people were sick on the plane, and I was nauseous throughout. Turbulence most of the way - the worst turbulence I have ever encountered. I am a nervous flyer so this was just an awful experience for me. No reassurance from the pilot. Felt like he was flying as if he had no passengers. Paid for premium with TUI and ended up in the worst economy. Have to now contact tui to get my money back. The whole experience was a horrible end to a lovely holiday. Won’t use tui again.
Wamos airline…
We booked our holiday to Dominic republican through TUI and booked premium seats on there dream liner aircraft. 5 days before we were due to depart TUI informed us that aircraft has changed to wamos air which is Spanish company and our premium benefits have been cancelled. ( Bear in mind the flight is 10 hours ) Well what can I say wamos air have got to be the worse airline out there. The food was dried up pasta. The airline staff were rude. And the in flight information at the start we could not understand because she spoke very fast and couldn't understand the language barrier. Because everyone on the flight was British That's not the worse thing there is no room in the seats we were shoulder to shoulder because the seats are so narrow and trying to eat a meal is near impossible because you can't move your arms and there's no leg room at all TUI informed us we couldn't book extra leg and I'm 6ft 5in but my wife is 5ft 7 and she couldn't even move her legs. There were some TUI cabin crew on this flight I did complaint about the the seats all I got in return was well you are lucky the flight wasn't cancelled and also the toilets were disgusting there was excrement embedded in and around the toilet seat no toilet paper 15 minutes into the flight. The aircraft was very outdated no air-conditioning I was sweating. How on earth TUI can use this airline from such well known company sorry TUI you have lost me as a customer
replacement for a TUI plane from Cancun…
replacement for a TUI plane from Cancun to Gatwick. This aeroplane is from the 1980’s at best, the seats are tiny, the leg room ridiculously small. There were no screens for entertainment and nowhere to charge your device should your battery run low, which it would on a flight of over 8 hours. The seating was so small – me and partner need to stretch our legs yet every time we went to do this the WAMOS staff told us to sit down as there wasn’t enough room. The Aisle to the toilets was also so tiny there was no room for any personal space, and I must have banged everyone on my way through. This plane still had the cigarette symbol light up above and an ashtray in the toilet.
The WAMOS flight landed at Gatwick the furthest away from terminal possible. The flight was uncomfortable and arduous leaving us both with a stiff neck and back. This alternative flight provided was NOT acceptable and not up to standard.
This does not deserve 1 star - its a ZERO from me.

After having a 7.5 hour delay at the start of our trip with Tui to Mexico then tui send us a email saying that our plane back to London gatwick will be Operated by wamos air well oh my gosh let me tell you something do not get on this plane if this happens to you zero air con not Evan a fan where the air comes from staff rude ask for a drink they tip it out a can give u cup and spread it around as they don’t have enough for everyone to have a can the turbulence on this plane lasted for 6 whole hours I myself was sick 3 times my partner and 7 other in my group was also sick my father in law has said his never flying again because of it said his never been so scared in his life thought we was going to die was his words people was just being sick everywhere on floor in bags was shocking I have never in my whole life of traveling and I travel a lot experienced anything like this before and it’s all down to tui and there shocking service two of our group payed business class this flight did not offer business class so they had to fly back home for 8 plus hours in a standard seat reason being they fly business is due to my father in law heath and legs he can’t bend them properly so they always fly business so as I said this is a tui issue but they work with wamos and I am just warning you all stay the hell away from tui and wamos if u don’t wanna be treated like a absolute idiot because this is all both these airline are doing taking a lot of money off people and treating them like filth there was 23 off us in our group in a 5star hotel all booked from tui this was other 40k and that’s how u get treated

Not pleasant
We were delayed at Gatwick for 2 hours,sat on plane,no air conditioning, no water,no information of what was happening very stressful experience! Firstly told French Air strike (don't go over france) then later told didn't have enough food for all the passengers,really surely you must know how many passengers are boarding! Horrendous no in-flight entertainment had to download app but kept crashing so pointless!!

However after speaking to other passengers , this happens frequently , and on a flight the previous week , passengers were only given one bottle of water each....

Excellent experience!! I was recently switched to a wamos…
I was recently switched to a wamos flight by Tui when our initial flight encountered a problem. When I read the reviews I was both horrified and nervous. HOWEVER... although the plane felt a little dated it was one of the most comfortable experiences I have ever had. 2-4-2 configuration meant a huge amount of room and the seats, despite looking a tad tired, were extremely comfortable. As a regular flyer with Emirates I'd have to say the comfort and space on the Wamos flight exceeded that of Emirates. Fabulous crew, couldn't do enough for us. Maybe we got lucky but I'd have to say don't believe all the negative reviews. I'd be delighted to fly with them again.
Terrible
Chartered by Jet2 for a short haul flight to and from Palma (Aug 2022). I read reviews saying Wamos are okay, but I am so glad my family ordeal is over. Thankfully just over 2 hours each way. This aircraft is the worst experience I have been on in years. For a large aircraft they have crammed as many seats on it as possible. Granted I am 6ft3, but this level of being cramped on a plane I have never experienced. The air conditioning/air circulation is none existent and combined with the seating felt like I was being tortured in military stress position. The overall standard of the plane can only be described as dated with a grubby feel about it. Wamos is now on the list with Ryanair to never fly with.

I flew from Manchester to Dalaman with this airline and then a return journey,supposed to fly with Jet2 but they put us on this Lancaster Bomber instead.
There was no in-flight refreshments outward but was offered a stale sandwich and a soft drink,no alcohol offered at all.The plane was enormous with seats crammed together no legroom and the plane was very old,not a good experience to start your holiday.
The return journey was worse the atmosphere on the flight was terrible as parties including children had been split up all over the plane shame on Jet2 for letting this happen.
I will NOT fly on this airline again I would rather walk.
