I've had Montgomery Ward card back in the 80's when they had an Actual store. What I find disturbing, is the Shipping Cost. I wanted to purchase a comforter set and the shipping was 31.99? Then I X'd that and needed a 5000 BTU air conditioner for 299.00 + 55.00 S/H plus added taxes? Almost 400.00. So I ordered one on Amazon for 159.00 FREE S/H 11.40 tax... total cost 170.00. Put it on Afterpay 60.02 for 3 months. I would like to patronize this store again, but the shipping is Ridiculous.

This company has the poorest customer service. The representatives are clueless about resolving issues. Fraudulent activity occurred on my account in December and instead of figuring it out, they closed my account and issued another one which is find. But when I placed and order I am told after the fact that I must pay a down payment! The excuse? We are trying to protect you and the company. How is that? If that was the case then why didn't the representative tell me that when I placed the order that I had to pay a down payment initially. I don't owe them much so I am going to pay it off and close the account.

This is absolutely the worst company to get any credit from stay away stay away! I was in the hospital I called them told them I was going to be late they said no worries to get better and they gave me a bad credit score I hate this company I'm paying them off soon as possible I got to get rid of this company stay away from them they are thieves!

Will not buy from again. I did a return and also never got a statement on the last 40 dollars and they now want 106 dollars.

They accepted an order with an apparently stolen debit card and then shipped merchandise to an address that was different than the billing address.

This Company sent a catalog out to me saying last chance and I actually Considered opening an acct with them…but boy oh boy…After reading these reviews…I have decided NOT to open an acct…The reviews are HORRIBLE…So horrible that I am afraid…I listen to the people not the Company cause Everybody isn’t lying!

I wish I had read reviews before I accepted their credit.

Ive been a wards customer for 20 yrs, also ginnys the sister company, Today I received my order whiich was supposed to be 3 sets of PJs and normally they come in separate mailers, whenI opened the mailer I found screen repair kitsx5 the mailer saays montgomerywards, the itemized list with price and order number is from a company called Harriet Carter, its another sister company,,BTW I had a Ginnys account and its paid in full but never this Carter company. I called the carter number spoke with agent and she saw the warehouse put someone elses order into my mailer, she was able to see what my order was and says it will be mailed and also a return label for the wrong item, BTW this order belongs to someone from another state, So far I have not seen any update in my montgomery ward account for the reshipment of 61.00 worth of products, the order i received was around 19 bucks,, So I have to do a return, and hope I received what I paid for.. Ive also notice the crter order was made a full month ago!!! Wonder who got my PJS I really hope I get what I paid for since I was doing a favor for a neighbor and she paid me for these PJS!!!

I don’t even have an account with these people, but apparently I do I had a bill come in the mail to my address linked to my phone number linked to my name saying I owed $257.36 for some sound canceling earphones I believe Montgomery Ward is just a financial terrorist organization.

My first time as a customer received a credit for $400 found a item for $299 and with shipping total $387 called on status and was told I need to make a down payment of $432 before they can ship item. Why when I have been credited for $400 . Unbelievable I will not have nothing to do with a company that false advertise's. I will stay with my local stores.

They are stealing and making identity fraud everyone that works there that knows about this should be in jail I received a package at my address from Montgomery ward with my mom's first name and my last name so I sent them an email asking them how was the package purchased they said credit a store card so I quickly called my bank because I didn't order anything but at the bank everything was good so I sent them back and email saying that I didn't order anything so the sells rep send me an email back saying that okay they going to send a return label and I emailed them back saying that I'm not going to send anything back until I speak with my lawyer because there's identity fraud being committed and I asked her for a name and number of the person that's in charge of doing the application for a store credit card so my lawyer can get in contact with the person and the emails stopped there. I haven't heard from them yet so yesterday I sent them another email saying that I also need his/or her name. I haven't gotten an answer back

I have been with m.w.for years.i feel dissatisfied withe service lately.i ordered 3 sweat suits 59.00 a piece .only one came. I was waiting for the other 2 but they haven't shown up.now they tell me I only ordered one hit me with shipping charges and then told me to order the other 2 sweatshirts and I will have to pay the shipping charges.when I was supposed to get 3 suits.im pissed.the person that took my order was darn stupid or something. I specifically told him the colors I wanted and the digit number for what I wanted he didn't listen too good.

i over paid and waiting for a check since aug 30, 2024, there excuse is they sent it but cant give a confirmation number, im being forced to file a police report and sue them

Montgomery Ward put a negative remark on my credit report due to them sending bad information out on thier billing statements I will no longer do business with this company since they refuse to correct the issue

I receive a Wards.com postcard ad in the mail today offering a single Apple AirTag for $59. Same $59 price on the website! You can buy one direct from Apple for $29, so does Wards DOUBLE the price of everything they offer? No incentive for me to go there at all.

I started an account with them and got really sick with a huge kidney stone which I called and let them know then immediately went back in the hospital with a kidney infection to where I almost died, I missed 3- $20 payments.I called and let them know I had been really sick but she couldn't have cared less. I received a horribly mean letter from Wendy Pickett. I paid my account current and when this is paid off I will never order from the again. If anyone cares I still have the nasty letter.

Hi I mail a $50.10 money order in and they cash it without posting it to my account their investigating it from now on I will be paying on a card until I pay them out they cash it without posting it to my account and that’s so wrong and iam so mad off I will not be ordering nothing else from there

Montgomery ward makes an acct without permission topeople'when you send someone something thru them and puts you down as the one signing them up ,so unprofessional and causes all kinds of problems thankfully I talked to an associate that was honest and said they got all the information they needed from her name ,do not by or get credit from them they will fraud you

I have never been as ‘throwed off guard”. I am disgusted, angry and very very displeased with MONTGOMERY WARDS. I thought of this company as an Old School company. Seems it’s been around all my life. If I saw your name on a product from household items to tools to ANYTHING, I would’ve said Oh it’s good! Now, I have to ask who has taken over, have you merged with some liberal new world organization. Having DILDOS in your catalog IS NOT RIGHT!! Twist it turn it paint it all it another name but if that’s what you have to do to stay afloat. Well I’d rather sink. Have some self respect. Stand Alone but for the live of GOD and your children, grandchildren. STOP THIS FILTH AND VULGUR CRAP!! My lil granddaughter was looking thru YOUR catalog to find a new comforter. My husband order a burgundy wing back chair from Montgomery wards. he received it on 02/07/2024. Never in a description, it said the pieces of the chair will come separately the top part of the chair arrived and the pieces which is the legs and parts is still in transit I've never heard of nothing like this in my life, I'm very disappointed (&) mad😡😡 and on top of that Montgomery Wards compensate me for my Big disappointment, buying they merchandise with a funky 10% off which is
$4.63 cent off of my order and the rest of my order coming next week sumtime This is a slap in my face(&) a insult. I needed this chair in my house 4 my Company coming too celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans 2024 at my house.this so messed up😭😭
