I ordered a bag 22nd may and immediately it arrived I knew it was not for me. Tried to get an address to return it to for 6 weeks - no luck. Finally asked Barclaycard to help. I then got a response and label to send it to. Sent it back same day. Yesterday B/card sent a letter saying they had not received it. Sent B/card proof of posting and it being delivered 15th June. Still ongoing. Do not touch them.

Do not purchase from them. I am still awaiting a refund despite chasing. Lack of customer service staff and have had to resort to messaging through Instagram but then often end up getting ignored. When I did a charge back initially as the order hadnât arrived, they were suddenly very keen to get that sorted in their favour. However, now Iâm asking for a refund (for items they received back in April) Iâm getting no whereâŠ. Terrible, and would strongly advise not to purchase from them at all.
Extra charges like a scam
I recently ordered several dresses from Warehouse, worth over £300. During the check-out, I didn't realise that the default option to proceed is with 'deliver +', which adds 20% charge on the top of the total but doesn't explain what this charge is for. I didn't realise this until I decided to return the whole order, and I had an outstanding charge of £15. Warehouse claims it's to protect me from loss of the package, which should be their responsibility and not mine. But this button should be optional and not default, so Warehouse banks on people not paying attention. Conveniently, their customer service has now moved to Facebook and the Messages platforms, which means you can't speak to anyone in real time. My efforts to claim a refund for this extra charge have been unsuccessful and customer care hasn't been not very helpful. This is my last time ordering from Warehouse and the whole Debenhams group. Please be vigilant when ordering from them.
Frustrating and disappointing
All items come from different warehouses. Returns went missing. Thereâs nowhere to call and despite having the tracking and proof of return it still took me over 28 days to receive a refund. Honestly I wouldnât order from warehouse again. Customer service from an AI robot is not my thing!

I placed an order, when I got to checkout and selected £2.99 delivery it added another £2.99 delivery assistance fee. There is no option to remove this despite AI Bot saying you can. You canât get hold of a real person to talk to and keep going around in circles with the AI bot!! Very poor service and incredibly frustrating!

Iâm extremely fustrated with my experience with Warehouse. What should have been a simple order has turned into an ongoing issue for over a month, with no proper resolution.
I ordered two sizes of the same dress, but instead of receiving both items, one of them was replaced with a used, smoke smelling bodysuit in a completely different size that was clearly not mine. The condition of the parcel was so unpleasant that I didnât even try on the correct dress.
After weeks of back and forth, I was advised to return everything, including the bodysuit that was incorrectly sent to me. I followed these instructions, yet I have only been refunded for one dress. Each time I contact customer service, I have to explain the entire situation again, only to be told that I didnât return the missing dress, which is impossible as I never received it in the first place.
Iâve been told multiple times that I would receive a refund, and that the issue has been escalated repeatedly (now up to eight times), but nothing has been resolved. The lack of communication between support staff and the need to constantly repeat myself has made this incredibly frustrating.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences Iâve had. I would strongly urge Warehouse to improve their quality control, returns handling, and internal communication, as this situation has been mishandled from start to finish.

Returned unwanted items 10 days after the order was placed but no correspondence from them. 'KAI' now saying this '10 days' was beyond the returns period...? Chatbot tried to connect me to an actual human and still no interaction.
Abysmal customer service
Abysmal customer service. No phone number to call and speak with a human. Someone on another review site mentions how good Kai is. Hate to inform them, Kai is an AI bot, not a human. I have been hanging on for at least 6 hours today, possibly longer, for a reply to my message regarding a payment taken yet no acknowledgement of what I ordered. I therefore have no order number to quote when I contact the company. I have been asked 5 times for the same information (name, email, phone number, address and post code AND order number). I have replied every time with this information in full. Every time I get the same message, from 'Kai' the AI assistant. Long waiting time, be patient, thank you for being patient and can you send us your email and first four and last four digits of your credit card. No I wont do that. I am not going to disclose my credit card details to a bot, no matter how nice the message is that they send. I feel that I have been scammed possibly and am going to stop the payment that has already been added to my credit card. To reiterate, appalling in this day and age to not be able to speak to a human. Grrrr.

Selected Asda as a returns label, but when I went to Asda they are apparently no longer a client of there. Have tried to change it on the portal but it wonât let me as it says the return request is already registered have emailed WhatsApped, text, Facebook and Instagram messaged, but have still not received a response just says they are busy but it has been over a week and no one has replied. Should not be allowed to advertise that you can return with a company, if you are no longer a client of thereâs and it doesnât work. No ways of getting in contact with anyone either.

Sadly I cannot give 0 stars as a review. I was refunded my return as a gift card even though I chose to be refunded on my original payment method. Their customer service has been SO unhelpful with not correcting their mistake and just keep sending the same robotic email responses saying they can't change the refund method now. I've had to raise an issue with Paypal (my original payment method) as well as raise a case with Resolver to try and sort out this issue. I can see from doing a google search that there are several people who have had this same issue where they've been given gift card even though they didn't choose it. Clearly there's a fault on their return system or they are running a scam! Regardless I will never shop at Warehouse or their parent company again and will warn people of their abysmal service/return scam!

Any company part of the Debenhams group is to be avoided, which unfortunately includes Warehouse.
Their refund process is abysmal and their ability to refund customers for returned items is poor, to put it mildly.
English Law clearly states that "You must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back. They do not have to provide a reason."
I had a refund issue in July which wasn't resolved after three weeks and I ended up recouping the money back through my card provider.
It looks increasingly like I'm going to experience a similar situation and will have to go through my payment provider again for money which is legally mine, despite reaching out to their "customer service" department.
Avoid unless you purchase an item that you are certain you are going to keep.

Woeful Returns/Customer Service
I placed an order on 15/10/25 for 3 items, they arrived promptly but weren't suitable so returned them 2 days later. I hadn't received any notifications until 29/10 (to advise my return was received) when I messaged them to ask where my refund was. Today, 12/11, I received only a partial refund for 1 of the items so I messaged them again. I was looking for a telephone number to speak to them but it doesn't exist! I'm still waiting for a response from a customer service person. I find it unacceptable that they take my money on Day 1 yet take over 3 weeks to process a refund. I won't be using them again. Woeful!

I have returned goods to this company and yet to receive a refund which checking on here is a regular pattern . I wonât order again from them and left no option but to do chargeback through my bank . Terrible company to deal with
Ordered items which arrived late, noticed one item had been refunded, I had no notification of this not being available.
I have tried to return the items I did receive, but the qr code I generated through returns portal did not work at Asda. I have been contacting Warehouse via WhatsApp and email since 29th October to try and resolve, keep getting generic replies asking me to generate a return label, I am unable to do this as the portal is still showing the original qr code, which I have stated on my communication.
So frustrating to deal with !!!!!!!!

Beware shopping at Warehouse
Beware shopping at Warehouse! If you buy multiple items from different brands and you need to return them, they use Royal Mail returns which requests that each item is returned separately. Each return is charged at £1.99. Awful customer service- as there are no stores to try items on for size, ordering more than one size is necessary. Contacted company directly as I am unhappy about the environmental impact of having to return items separately. They are not resolving the issue. I will not purchase from them again, total waste of time!
