WarmZilla marked my complaint as "resolved" even though it was never resolved.
For months we've been going back and forth with WarmZilla without reaching a satisfactory outcome. Instead of resolving the issues, we ended up paying additional money out of our own pocket to have another engineer correct problems following the installation.
In my experience, WarmZilla did the bare minimum to close the case rather than properly addressing the issues we raised. The entire process has been stressful, time-consuming, and extremely frustrating. We also had to deal with additional damage and unexpected costs after the installation.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend WarmZilla. If you're considering using them, make sure you understand what is and isn't covered, document everything, and be prepared for the possibility of a lengthy dispute if something goes wrong.
This review reflects my personal experience with WarmZilla and my honestly held opinion based on that experience.

That said, we respectfully disagree with a number of the points raised in your review. Throughout this matter, we worked to investigate each concern, arranged follow-up visits, and carried out all remedial works that fell within the scope of our installation and warranty obligations. Where issues were identified that were unrelated to our work or fell outside our responsibility, we explained this as clearly as possible.
While we understand that you chose to instruct another engineer, we recognise that this has led to additional costs for you. However, we do not agree that these costs were the result of shortcomings in our installation.
We always aim to resolve concerns fairly and transparently, and we're disappointed that we were unable to reach an outcome that satisfied you. Nevertheless, we wish you all the best going forward, and thank you again for sharing your feedback.
Overall satisfactory
Initial installer turned up decided not to do the job and made up we had a gas leak and left. Warmzilla sent another person out and they fitted it no problem or issue and no gas leak. The sales team were very apologetic and quick to try to resolve. Overall I've got a working boiler a lot cheaper to what British Gas quoted us. By about 2k less.

I had an air conditioning system installed by WarmZilla. The team completed the work professionally and tested the system thoroughly. Everything is now working perfectly and to a high standard. The engineers were helpful and the overall experience was very good. I’m happy with the result and would recommend WarmZilla.

Sometimes it’s better to have experienced Engineer
Been paying Warmzilla for 3 years for boiler service and breakdown plan £19 per month. It took them more than a month to organise service compared to last year. Engineer turn up for service and could not get the boiler to turn on and then walks out without any paperwork and Warmzilla tells me to get this sorted by Vaillant. They were able to get the Engineer out on next day (Saturday) and they confirmed nothing wrong with the Boiler. Apparently the subcontractor for service didn’t understand the working of Boiler and how thermostat functioned. It’s been working fine ever since. Amy however kept us informed and replied promptly to all the emails. Now waiting for rebooked service appointment.

As discussed with one of the team, your central heating system contains a number of different components, many of which would be covered under your breakdown plan. However, following visit, the issue was determined to be with the boiler itself, which remains under the manufacturer’s warranty. For this reason, you were advised to contact the manufacturer directly so that the fault could be addressed under the terms of that warranty.
We appreciate that being redirected was frustrating, particularly after the service visit, and we apologise for any confusion caused regarding the contact details provided.

Big promises, no delivery
Happily took my money and a timed, dated booking for a boiler check and repair. I liked the fixed price and availability, however the phone call from them the next day raised a fear, later confirmed, that they were unable to source an engineer and the cancellation email later that day confirmed it. 10 seconds to take the payment, days to refund it.

We have checked and can confirm that your refund was processed on the day the booking was cancelled at your request. While we action refunds immediately, the time it takes for the funds to appear back in your account is determined by the payment provider and is unfortunately outside of our control.

Firstly steer clear.
I had the misfortune of purchasing a EV charger from this company in August 2025.
They sub contracted 0out the ev installation to a third party company
It’s was installed incorrectly, causing damage to my home central heating system, due to a wiring fault on installation.
The unit was exchanged and still didn’t work.
6 months after my initial complaint and numerous emails what’s app messaging I was in formed that the issue had been forwarded to the senior management team
This procrastination team must only meet annual.
So 10 months into the issue still nothing,
But no doubt a comment from warmzilla will be attached to this review

Generally an excellent service
Generally an excellent service. I had been let down by other companies for reasons connected to flue installation and meter pipework. Warmzilla agreed to deal with these issues within their quotation. Installation of my new boiler was done within a few days of my accepting the quote. Two criticisms: Delivery of the new boiler, done on the day of installation, was delayed because the courier's van broke down. This meant installation did not complete until 2000. It might be better if boiler delivery took place before the installation day although I accept this may cause inconvenience to the customer. Also, the boiler registration process was not made clear. Apart from these points I am very happy with Warmzilla's service.

Despicable company
Despicable company. I would leve zero stars if that was an option. I had a boiler fitted recently,I messaged the fitter the morning after installation to tell him there was water coming through my ceiling and he did not message back, he had left a radiator leaking that has damaged my floor and ceiling. He also left a magnetic filter leaking. They also stood on my kitchen worktop instead of using step ladders and have caused damage to that. Warmzilla and their fitter have not been back to have a look, inspect the work or put things right. They asked for photos which I sent and just accepted zero responsibility. They said my kitchen worktop was fitted incorrectly, it has been in there for over 10 years and regardless of how it is fitted a tradesman should be using step ladders not a kitchen worktop. That is a health and safety issue! The boiler has been having pressure issues since it has been fitted, I will be taking this further with legal action DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
