I recently had the pleasure of purchasing and building a custom watch from Watch Supply, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The instructions, both in the booklet and online videos, were straightforward and clear. The option to customize with various dial, case, and hand options was a great feature. I encountered a minor problem with the crown wheel, but the customer service, especially Felix, was top-notch and resolved the issue quickly and without charge. The quality of the finished watch is impressive, comparable to more expensive brands. I am now inspired to explore more watch-making projects with them. Highly recommend Watch Supply for anyone interested in watch customization, thanks in part to their excellent customer support. Four stars!

Amazing customer service experience

I got the watch building kit as a gift from my partner for Christmas. I had been looking at it for a while so I was incredibly happy one receiving it. The kit had everything you needed and was very explanatory. It’s not puzzling or confusing, everything makes sense and Watch Supply really do try their best to make it so. Even if you have any questions the guys are really great at getting back to you! I dealt with Felix quite a bit and his service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and encourage purchasing yourself one of their products.

Throughly enjoyed the experience. A nice introduction to the history of time keeping and the contraptions used.

These folk are amazing. I sent a message to Felix the little legend.
I didn't want the normal set up. I wanted to swap a normal face for a red face on a model that was sold out. I didn't expect it to be so easy. He whatsappped me and it was sorted in about 3 minutes.
The build was so much easier with the videos.

I got stuck and what's app came in again. Prompt reply? About 4 minutes.

I've seen other more expensive kits out there. Don't bother. These let you pick your real custom watch and then answer the phone and send clear videos.

I'm just looking to see what time it is and know I am now a certified watchmaker

This review is long overdue, but I couldn’t be happier with my purchase from Watch-Supply. A few months ago, it would have sounded crazy if anyone suggested I would build a watch, but now I am hooked on the hobby thanks to the quality of the product and support Felix provided with my first watch.

It all started with a Kickstarter notice which offered a watch kit for the Explorer line at a great earlybird price. On a whim, I decided to give it a whirl and backed the project, my first on KS. My niece graduated high school this summer, and I wanted to find a yellow watch for her to take to college in September (her freshman class has been assigned the color yellow). Watch Supply’s Explorer line has a beautiful muted yellow dial, and I took the leap. While the kit arrived in March/April, I was not able to begin the build until mid-May. Initially, it was a little intimidating to see all the parts of the watch before I began the build, and the instruction manual, which provided detailed directions, was fairly long.

Once I began, though, the process was fairly simple. In addition to the manual which arrived with the kit, Watch Supply shared links to extremely helpful videos for each step of the process. Those videos were incredibly helpful to a newbie like myself, and they made an intimidating process feel much more manageable. The build was challenging, even frustrating at times as I worked on handling the watch hands properly, but incredibly rewarding each time a step was completed.

While many watch kit companies provide similar products, the reason I will continue to be a loyal customer of Watch Supply is the personal support provided by Felix, the owner of WS. As I approached the last steps in the process on a Saturday evening here on the Eastern time zone in the US, I was unable to access one of the instructional videos. I sent a message to the What’s App link provided in the instructions in the event support was needed. Given the late hour in the UK, I didn’t expect to hear back until the next day, but Felix was able to go in and provide access to the video fairly quickly. Along with his encouraging words, Felix’s support on the spot helped me complete the watch in one sitting.

All in all, this was an incredibly rewarding experience to build the Explorer watch, and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed building the timepiece from Watch Supply’s kit. At the risk of sounding immodest, the finished product was beautiful, and my niece loves her adult (not Apple) watch. Because of the personal support Felix provided, I would confidently recommend Watch Supply as an organization which will provide an experience superior to that of other watch kit organizations.

In fact, I have already preordered my next kit from them and am excited to put together my first GMT!

The delivery was very fast. Quality and the content of the box is outstanding. Only thing I'd like to see in the future is a kit that teaches more about building the movement of the watch. Love this kit but It's a bit too simple, ie just putting built parts together.

I had been looking at either modifying or putting together my own watch for some time. I had seen some DIY watch kits on line but they come from overseas and the postage/customs made it financially unviable. Then I discovered Watch Supply (Fink). They are a London based watch manufacturer who sells DIY kits to help people get into watchmaking. Exactly what I was looking for, and from a UK based company!
The kits are varied to suit all styles and can be altered to suit individual tastes. The prices are great and adding a tool kit did little damage to the overall cost other than adding further value.
The kit that I ordered included a divers watch, with a well revered Seiko movement and a Fink rubber strap. I also ordered the tool kit, which includes everything that you need and then some. The quality of the watch and the tool kit is perfect for a beginner and personally I can't think of anything that I would change or improve.
The final thing that needs recognition is the guidance that Watch Supply offer. Watchmaking looks daunting from the outset, but Watch Supply have put so much effort into offering support in every possible way! The manual supplied with the watch is so detailed and it explains each step carefully, along with some horological history. If reading is not your thing, there are detailed videos that you can watch, and if you are still struggling, Watch Supply are just on the end of the phone!
Do I think the watch kits are worth it? Definitely.
Would I purchase from them again? My basket is already filling up!
Would I recommend Watch Supply? Hopefully my short review above confirms that I would!

Fast delivery. Good quality packaging,tools,watch and book.

Watch with toolkit delivered very quickly!
The guide was very clear and I could learn how to build the watch myself.
The watch itself is quite elegant.
Only downside is maybe the hands lume is not really bright compared to that of the dial.

I have been searching for an automatic watch for many years but was still undecided until I found the Mayfair watch model, which is the very first one I own! What's even better is that I can build it myself, which brings me so much satisfaction in truly owning and understanding my possession.

Felix has been very accommodating since the first day of our communication and delivered this excellent DIY kit to Malaysia, which is not on the default shipping list. I highly recommend it, especially for those who are into watch DIY and want to appreciate how automatic watches work. The manual and video instructions are very comprehensive, and the tools provided for the watch are not only top-notch but also completely sufficient. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Great quality dial. Quickly dispatched and an easy to navigate website

I purchased the "watch seminar" assembling a watch of my choice in Watch Supply's own workshop after a tutorial on time keeping history and watches.

It was a very interesting tutorial and a great experience assembling a watch in a well equipped workshop. I am not sure I could have done that at home.

Cases, dials, bracelets were all of good quality and there were even NH38 movements (dateless version of the NH35) for no date dials. Great attention to detail!

Felix (watchmaker, instructor, owner) was very helpful and friendly.
Highly recommended experience for all watch lovers, collectors or aspiring collectors.

Excellent product, clear instructions and prompt delivery

Great quality kit, well packed with clear instructions (print and video). Good value for money, and communication was excellent throughout the buying process.

It’s a great company with excellent customer service. I asked about a movement that I was faulty (through no fault of there own) and they offered a replacement and we’re extremely helpful.
