I’m a simple guy and all I want when making a purchase is for things to be easy with great customer service. Something Watches of Whitby do in spades. Firstly a price to part exchange my old watch, no long forms to fill out or booking visual consultations, no 3 day turnaround for a value which annoys me as when I decide to do something I want it done as quick as possible. Asked for a value in the afternoon sent some pics and a brief description and the valuation was in my inbox that evening. This prompted me to respond to the email thinking (as it was when I got home from work) I would get a reply in the morning. Alex replied back! We then discussed the purchase of a watch he had in stock agreed the deal and paid a deposit via a link and off I went this morning to meet Leanne and Michael. Could not have asked to be dealt with by two lovelier people! Knowledgeable helpful and friendly. I have told Leanne that this will probably be the last watch I’ll buy as I have reached what I aspired to reach but there is already something telling me that I’ll be back to Watches of Whitby in the future. I will also definitely recommend them to friends, family and colleagues. Well done team and thanks for a stunning watch!

Brilliant purchase experience from beginning to completion. Email correspondence was swift and informative. Phone call to finalise the deal was professional. Made the journey and after finally arriving in store staff were extremely friendly and inviting. Watch was as described, website photographs were a true representation. More than happy to recommend this company and will use them again in the right deal presents itself in the future.

I bought my first Rolex at the weekend and thanks to watches of Whitby and in particular Paula our salesperson I couldn’t be any happier. We were made to feel very welcome and never under any pressure to purchase. The shop surroundings were inviting and relaxing . 5 star service well done 👍

A couple of years ago I bought a special watch from Watches of Whitby as a surprise gift for my husband on his 70th birthday, and also to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. I was delighted when I saw the watch on WOW’s online shop as it was a particular watch my husband had admired, but it had been particularly difficult to find. Throughout the process Alex was great; he answered all of my questions and once I’d ordered the watch Alex kept me informed when it was dispatched. My husband was over the moon with his present! We don’t live locally but last week we holidayed in Yorkshire and on a cold, wet and windy day we made a special trip to WOW to thank the team for excellent customer service. We were made very welcome, given coffee, and the team were super friendly. Special mention for Mike who was knowledgeable, very helpful and happy to spend time with us discussing “the” watch. Thanks to Alex and his super team for a great customer experience!

Enquired about a watch last Saturday evening via WhatsApp and Watches of Whitby couldn’t be more helpful. Paid a deposit and visited their shop today to collect my new watch which was just as described and in superb condition. Staff were really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable and made the process really easy. Will certainly be back again when in Whitby…..thanks again guys …..5 star all the way!!!

Bought a used Oyster Perpetual for my wife, which despite being used and over 20yrs old is in absolutely perfect condition. The buying experience was all remote/online and phone, and they couldn't have been more thorough or helpful. Watch turned up within 24hrs & expertly packaged. Was nervous about spending such an amount of money without having seen the watch, but I needn't have worried.

Purchased a Rolex Explorer from WoW recently, what a breath of fresh air compared to an AD and stupid waiting lists.
They have an really good selection of pre-owned stock and the watches are well photographed and as described, in fact mine was better than described, it was as new!
Received the watch with box and papers, including both swing tags with serial number, also received an insurance valuation certificate and a watch register check certificate (stolen/fraud check).
WoW also include a branded felt watch pouch and a smaller one to keep your spare links in.
Shipped insured with great communication. I asked them to let me know if they get a 36mm Explorer in as I have a friend who wants to purchase, Michael called me a week later with an immaculate 2 year old example (hope he buys it Michael)
Think I've found my favourite dealer, would highly recommend this family run business!

Just bought a watch from here last week. Would have loved to visit the shop first but didn't have the time so had it delivered with no issues whatsoever. The watch was exactly as described and in fantastic order, I'm really pleased with my purchase!

I live locally and was out walking when I came across a beautiful ladies omega watch, I emailed the shop the next day and got an appointment for the following day, the reply was super quick. When I went to view the watch the staff were amazing and super helpful, I bought the watch and will be going back in future for further purchases 🙂

I had the good fortune to come across Watches of Whitby whilst looking for a Rolex Sky Dweller.
The watch was as described and priced sensibly.
I offered to place a deposit over the phone which they agreed to.
A period of 2 weeks was extended which for a watch this much in demand was rare.
The service was exceptional and it transpires that they are a small family concern which is a rarity today.
I shall definitely make Watches of Whitby my first choice when looking for another watch.

Husband decided to treat himself to another watch. What a gem of a shop Watches of Whitby is. Over a period of 3 days we met nearly all of the staff who were so friendly and welcoming. The watches he finally selected are in a lovely condition. Highly recommend.
