I’ve purchased a few watch related items from Watches of Whitby via the post without any issues before but when I saw a watch they had in stock I really fancied I decided to make the 2 hour trip down to visit them.
Immediately I felt at ease browsing with zero pressure from the very polite and knowledgeable staff working there. This place has such a friendly atmosphere and I was amazed at the flawless condition of the used watches I looked at. It wasn’t long after my coffee that we had a deal and I cannot recommend them highly enough! So thank you for the experience, If only everywhere was like this place :)

Excellent service from Watches of Whitby on my recent purchase of a Tudor Black Bay 58. I had been keeping an eye on their stock for a while (and missed out on a couple of occasions as their stock is very high quality) but finally managed to acquire what I’d been looking for. The watch was perfect and the service and knowledge they have is second to none.

Would not recommend them more highly!

I’ve just had a great online experience with Watches of Whitby! I made an enquiry about a Moonwatch which was responded to almost instantly! Upon buying the watch over their site, I received a call to confirm the transaction and discuss delivery options! The watch arrived perfectly packaged the following morning and is exactly as described on the site, in terms of condition. In fact, it’s been than described! It looks brand new!

I will definitely be purchasing from Watches of Whitby again in the future!

I ordered a bracelet for a Tudor BB GMT. It showed in stock on the web page but this was actually out of stock. After a quick call, Michael upgraded to a higher spec product FOC. Arrived well packed the next day via RMSD. I could not have wished for better service!

This was our second visit to the Watches of Whitby shop in Whitby to purchase another watch. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and polite - we were also offered refreshments whilst waiting. We would certainly recommend this shop when looking for a quality, pre-owned watch.

We popped into the shop browsing a couple of months and received a warm welcome. We returned today and was given 1st class treatment whilst my fiance chose his watch. The manager remembered us from before and asked about our upcoming nuptials in Whitby, a really lovely thing to remember about us. Fantastic service provided by Watches of Whitby. Enquired on Wednesday about a piece and had it delivered on Friday morning. Flawless condition at a very reasonable price. Could not recommend higher. Will certainly be using them for future purchases.

Fantastic experience. From enquiring about a part ex of an Air King to collecting an almost new Santos, Alex dealt with a part ex value promptly and fairly. Dealing with Michael and Alexander in store the next day was faultless. I will definitely use Watches of Whitby again.

I initially visited Watches of Whitby last year. At the time I was strictly window shopping. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and indulged me when I asked to try on a few pieces. I made a mental note to use them when I was ready for my next purchase.

Fast forward to a fortnight ago. I made an enquiry about a watch that I had been looking for. They didn't have the model in stock but took my details and promised to call me when one was available.

On Wednesday, my phone rang, a Whitby area code!
They had the watch in stock! A deposit was taken to secure it, the balance was taken in the afternoon, and as I type this it's on my wrist and looking fab.

The buying experience from start to finish was professional, friendly and generally as much fun as you can have when making a big purchase.
My new Rolex arrived in perfect condition with everything you would expect from new. (It also came with a valuation for insurance purposes, along with a certificate from the Watch Register to show a clean history). Delivery was arranged for a day of my choosing, and the packaging was bomb proof.

Rest assured when I'm on the lookout for my next watch, Watches of Whitby will be the first port of call.
If you're in that neck of the woods I'd also suggest calling in; as the shop is immaculate, and the staff are super polite and helpful.
