Pour moi cette entreprise est une arnaque et je crois qu’ils avaient prévu leur cambriolage les menant à une dissolution ! Que de plus facile pour rebondir, en attendant je pers 10000€ et je pense jamais ne les revoir! Et aujourd’hui ils continue de vendre sur une autre marque!!!
Ce sont des escrocs très organisés

Al maanden op het wachten op een correcte afwikkeling nadat ons dure horloge is gestolen bij watchmaster. Bij het tekenen van het contract zou hij hier voor verzekerd zijn. Wij zijn dubbel gedupeerd en zullen nooit iemand aanbevelen hier zijn horloge aan te bieden

suite a mon avis plutôt dubitatif sur le transport d objets précieux comme ces montres de marques dont personne ne vérifie la présence lors des transmissions que l objet est bien dans le colis et non pas un cailloux ou une banane ,,,,
j ai été surpris que cela ne surprenne personne ?

J’ai confié a watchmasters une montre Rolex en Août 2022. En novembre 2022, watchmasters m’annonce que ma montre a été volée avec d’autres dans leur coffre. Depuis la communication est très espacée, aucune indemnisation après 8 mois.
Pas de nouvelles de l’avancée du dossier. On dirait franchement qu’ils se foutent de leur clients. Je déconseille fortement de faire appel a ce site qui manifestement ne sait pas prendre soin des objets confiés et se fiche pas mal du préjudice subit pas mes clients. Pour ma part c’est des années d’économies qui ont disparu et je ne peut pas me retourner contre eux car ils ont
Mis leur société en liquidation et c’est un administrateur qui gère la suite du dossier.

Will not honour warranty claim as it has gone into administration. Do not attempt to buy or sell via Watchmaster, you may lose your money or if you are selling, you may lose your goods.

I ordered a Rolex Submariner from Watchmaster on 16 November 2022. On 19 November 2022 the infamous robbery took place. Not knowing the robbery had taken place, as the company did not communicate this to anyone, I completed the payment of the watch on 21 November 2022.

The company had issued me an invoice for the watch and informed that the watch would ship to me within 5 days.

Instead of shipping the watch to me in a timely manner as they were obligated to do so, on 1 December 2022 I received an e-mail from them informing me that even though my watch was not stolen during the robbery, they were not going to ship it to me, and they were also not going to refund me the purchase price.

I can only assume that the company did not ship the watch to me because it was in their best interest not to do so. In that way they could keep the money and try to sell the watch again to preserve and improve liquidity.

As a consumer in the EU you are protected by the statutory rules of your own country when making a purchase online. Under the laws of my country the legal title to the watch has passed to me. I have informed them of this many times but they refuse to engage in any discussions.

The company has walked a fine line between taking advantage of creditor protection rules and knowingly breaching contracts to try and keep themselves a float.

Before this experience I had bought 3 watches from the company, all 3 amazing experiences with great quality watches and top customer service.

I urge the company to reconsider their actions in this matter, and to hand over the watch rightfully belonging to me.

Après le cambriolage annoncé il y a maintenant 6 mois Watchmaster m annonce que l insolvabilité ne me permettra peut être pas d'être remboursé par leur assurance ?!
Existe t il un groupe afin de procéder à une pétition et trouver une défense qui serait un appuie devant la justice afin que nous soyons considéré en temps que victime de cette procédure.

Ich kann diese Hinhalte Taktik nicht mehr nachvollziehen. Das ist aus meiner Sicht Betrug was da abgezogen wird. Es wäre schön von der Mannheimer Versicherung zu hören, warum kommt diese nicht für den Schaden auf? Was steckt dahinter und warum kommen diese Unternehmen damit durch? Diese schei... die da geschrieben wird glaube ich nicht! Jede Mail die reinflattert ist was für den Papierkorb. Ich will wissen, wann die Mannheimer Versicherung meinen Schaden bezahlt? Wir sprechen hier von über 7000 €.

Useless company I’ve tried buying a few Tudor and Rolex watches from them but every time I go to the checkout I get a message saying that the watch is not available in my area.the watches are in the uk and so am I but I can’t get any Watch to the payment page. It’s been like this for weeks.no one answers the phone or email.don’t try to sell your watch with these people coz they don’t let the buyers buy them.

Buonasera esperienza iniziata male e finita peggio due orologi consegnati più di un anno fa di cui uno restituito perché non sono stati in grado di venderlo nonostante il mio consulente mi aveva assicurato che ci sarebbero voluti pochi mesi per cui ho deciso di riaverlo pagando ovviamente le spese di spedizione …l’altro invece ha ricevuto ben altra sorte…mi comunicano tempo fa che è stato rubato …mio timore più grande visto una mia precedente brutta esperienza di cui li avevo informati al momento dell’accordo eppure è andata così …adesso sono in attesa di un risarcimento che non solo si presenta come insoddisfacente ma che con molta probabilità avverrà chi sa quando….meditate e soprattutto diffidate…..metto una stella perché di meno non posso!!!

Cant get any response from Watchmaster UK. Are they still trading ?? What happens to my Omega watch that they are selling for me. Terms of Conditions for them selling my watch stated that the watch was fully insured by them.

Hi can somebody from WatchMaster UK please respond to my email. I have have sent numerous emails in month of April and tried calling, however no response from your end.
I am not even getting auto response emails.
Please confirm if Watch Master UK is still operational or have they close down as well. If that's the case please advise on the status of our watches (will they be returned)?

Ma montre Rolex a été volé lors du cambriolage à Berlin en Novembre dernier. Depuis, impossible de les avoir au téléphone! Je reçois parfois des mails pour expliquer là où en est la procédure..que des mots pour endormir les créanciers..rien n'avance au bout de 5 mois..Il faut savoir que j'avais envoyé un mail avant ce fameux cambriolage pour connaître les frais pour récupérer ma montre vu que les délais promis par Madame Salomon étaient complètement dépassés...je n'ai jamais eu de réponse..bizarre non! Tout ceci reste très suspect et invite à penser à un coup bien préparé...Quoi qu'il en soit fuyez cette société!

I've seen a lot of bad reviews of Watchmaster recently so wanted to write a review of my experience selling on the platform.

The piece I sold was an IWC Portofino, a very nice watch but certainly not a "hype" watch so I didn't expect it to be sold within a couple of weeks...which was a good thing as it did take 10 months for it to sell.

Positives:

Excellent communication from start to finish. Questions and concerns were answered promptly.

Safe and easy collection of your watch

Decent sale price achieved

Extremely safe and quick payment once return period finished.

Negatives:

A little unrealistic estimated sale prices. My watch was at no point listed at the higher end of this and I also had to drop my bottom promised price by £200.

*I would say given the overall l drop in the market and the general state of the economy this was fair in my mind

Extremely long consignment period of 12 months and took 10 months to sell. This seems to be the main complaint from a lot of people and in hindsight I agree. What I would say though is I was fully aware of this upon signing the contract so I have no complaints, you sign a contract for 12 months and that's what you have to let them have!

High commission price.

When all said and done I can say that I did make more money selling my watch this way compared to selling it directly to similar platforms, just! Infarct I made exactly £106 more than my top quote selling it this way.

The question you have to ask yourself is how much of a premium do you put on the time it takes to sell your watch. Given my time again I do think I'd go elsewhere as for gain of £10 a month I think id rather just sell and be done. Some places also offer both options in that you can consign for a couple of month and if a sale isn't achieved they will do a direct sale.

What I would say though is they are certainly not scammers or crooks like some have said. I've listed the negatives and all of those are very clear on the agreement you are sent. If you don't read that then frankly that's on you.

So in summary, if you're not in a rush then Watchmaster are as competitive as anywhere else and a good company to deal with.

If you have a maximum timeframe of before the 12 months then best to look elsewhere.

I will be a bit of a contrarian here... Recently purchased a watch from Watchmaster and aside from a minor payment issue (which was rectified within a working week), my transaction was very smooth. I purchased the watch I wanted at a realistic market price, which other similar businesses didn't want to contemplate.
So as a buyer, I can recommend their services. You also get an authenticy card and a 2 year warranty on the watch.

As a seller, I contacted them months ago to understand if they could help with a watch I wanted to pass on. Their consignment policy in relation to keeping your watch for 12 months was clearly and immediately stated to me. I decided to sell my watch elsewhere, as it seemed too long (in the UK the average for consignment seems to be around 3 months)... and perhaps a symptom of scarce confidence in being able to sell quickly.
The valuation I received was on the high end, but that was part of my decision in the end (i.e. I did some research on the effective market value of the watch... not a difficult task nowadays).

Generally, when you are buying or selling expensive commodity goods make sure you do your due diligence and read all the contractual terms. My experience was positive overall as an informed customer.

My watch has been for sale for 8 months with them, initially for £4800, I have reduced the price 3 times now at £3200 and there is no progress, I can’t get the watch back because of the 1 year lock in .. unless I pay 19% commission for them not selling, so I can’t 1) enjoy the watch myself or 2) sell myself … I know the market is probably tough but I have reduced the price in line .. I would avoid using the company as it’s clearly a blag to over value to lock you in..

Puedo confirmar que mi experiencia de venta de un Omega con Andreas ha sido buena. Eso si, un punto negativo es que Tuve que reclamar la rebaja de los gastos de reacondicionamento que eran claramente muy exagerado ya que ya me habían acondicionado el reloj en Omega un año antes; conclusión, hacen margen costes sobrevalorados=> pedir la factura de dichos costes que vienen en deducción del precio de venta!

Absolute crooks and liars, do not EVER under any circumstance use these con artists.
I put my Breitling up for sale with them and was assured I could get my watch back at any time if it didn't sell within a reasonable time. After it had been sitting on their website for four months I decided to get my watch back and was then informed I had to pay the commission they would have made had they done their job and sold my watch.
So basically they get their commission whether they sell it or not, they have no incentive to do anything once you hand over your watch to them.

They value a watch at begin price of 2800€ ! In the end i got 940€!!
Also it was going to be sold within 2 weeks, 1 year later i got my money!
The repair bill was also amazing!
