Really great service!

I needed a watch strap in time for a holiday, and the lovely people at Watch Specialists made it happen. Great product, lovely service!

Highly recommended

To fully appreciate my feedback one must first understand that I have a dreadful track record of surprising my wife with gifts, let alone those she likes 🙄

On this occasion, I knew she liked the design of Mondaine's classic 'clock face watches', and assumed that since she owned a tan coloured handbag she might reasonably relish being give a Mondaine Evo2 Big Date 40mm watch with tan watchstrap. How in touch am I with all things feminine 🤪

One might imagine that such a purchase would be straight forward, but Mondaine only offer three vegan colour options, and no matter how many suppliers I reassured that I was not going to eat the strap, only The Watch Specialists offered to help.

A total of 8 reputable suppliers told me I'd have to fit a tan strap myself, potentially unaware that my accreditation as a professional jeweller has expired! How hard can it be for a professional 🤔

Anyway Suzie and The Watch Specialists came to my rescue. They not only delivered the exact item, with strap attached, within 48 hours of purchase, but effectively used Business WhatsApp to establish trust and rapport.

I'm still married and my wife is now wearing her new watch, and I'm going to declare this as a win 🤗

I bought the Bulova Marine Star 98R235 from Finnies of Aberdeen two years ago as a birthday present for my wife. I ignored the original review request because reviewing a gift before giving it would lack integrity.

Delivery was fast enough to suggest someone at Finnies personally jogged it to the courier, and the gift‑wrapping was so immaculate it briefly tempted me to claim artistic credit.

Since then, the watch has endured Queensland heat, humidity, regular sea‑water swimming, a Thai diving holiday, and — for variety — a UK winter outdoors at the stables, which is essentially a controlled experiment in mud, cold, and mechanical trauma.

Despite all this, the 98R235 remains uncracked, un-fogged, un-rusted, un-drowned, un-frozen, un-chewed, and apparently unbothered by any of it.

It also still looks as good as watches costing ten times as much, which is mildly irritating if you’ve ever bought one of those.

In summary: excellent service, flawless presentation, and a watch that has stubbornly refused to die despite every environmental and human factor encouraging it. That’s about as glowing as it gets.

My wife decided she wanted an automatic watch. While browsing, we came across a vintage-ish Oris Titan lady’s 29mm with a gorgeous blue dial and a blue rubber strap. She absolutely loved it. Upon close inspection though, you could see cracks in the strap from, well, 20 some years of age. So, we didn’t get that one. The blue dial was a hard find. But it happened, with a factory stainless band though. After more searching I found Watch Specialists Ltd., and I spoke with Suzie. She contacted Oris directly, and found that the blue strap had actually been discontinued,…but black was still available. Now I’m not going to give the name, but I had this watch refinished here (U.S.) at a fairly reputable establishment, and I asked them to locate the blue strap also. Apparently they had contacted Oris as well, and they too said it had been discontinued, only they didn’t go to the extra step to see what was available, but Suzie did. She found that even though this model is over a couple decades old, she could still get the black strap, which I think will look just as well, possibly better. She just sent me notification that she had received it, and it will be sent out to me soon and provided the tracking info. Thank you for helping me get what we were looking for.

Following an enquiry to see if a certain Michel Herbelin leather strap was available from Watch Specialists because I was certain a very expensive but incorrect one had been fitted by another company (who repeatedly insisted it was the only one now available) Suzie went above and beyond to assist me, corresponding and sending me links and information via WhatsApp that I needed to illustrate the error … To the point that she was willing to call me after 6.00 pm on Good Friday to help out! Wow! Cannot recommend these people enough!

I called for some advice advice regarding a watch strap and spoke to a lady called Suzie who took time to understand my enquiry. Although she didn’t immediately know the answer she took details and contacted the manufacturer coming back to me in super quick time with an answer.
All in all really friendly and attentive service which is such a rarity these days. I’ve have have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

So refreshing to find a company that clearly prides itself on customer service. Excellent range of quality products at sensible prices backed up by first-rate communications and fast dispatch. What a fantastic experience! Looking for a watch that no one had in stock I stumbled across watchspecialists and I’m so glad I did!
They use small business in the high street that maybe don’t have a website or want the hassle of maybe of taking payments online. Either way it’s helping everyone out.
The watch initially stated as it would take 60 days to ship but my luck was in as a lovely person called Suzie emailed and said one was coming in that day and would be shipped to me the next!
From ordering to the communication was absolutely first class and I really highly recommended them.
The watch is due tomorrow and I’m very excited for it to turn up.
10/10 from me and I wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend.
