The wavebooster team are extreamly professional and delivered a high quality solution. All aspects of the process went smoothly, from the quotation, scheduling right through to the install and after care. Since the install our coverage has been excellent and has allowed us to operate our business without any interuptions.
Support was quick & helpful, they actually called ahead to make sure we had ordered the best item for our use case. Shipping was quick & contained absolutely everything we needed to install and test, no complaints from me!
Waveboosters have a very misleading "30 day money back guarantee". Customers I think would typically view this a little like a 30 day returns policy. Buy it, if it solves your problem, great, otherwise just return it no issues.
However, that was not the case for us and I am doubtful if they ever do returns.
If you start reading the fineprint you realise that you need to report a fault/dissatisfaction asap - probably in the first three days. Then you need to ship it back within 15 days. The 30 days is presumably the time when you would get your money back, but it feels intentionally misleading. Also - in terms of the fine print - a 25% "restocking fee" is deducted from the refund which is vague and does not feel justifyable at all.
There is also a governance issue in the case of Waveboosters' returns policy. In our case, the person deciding on whether or not a return should be allowed was the sales agent. This is the same sales agent who I presume earned a decent commission from our purchase by how many times he followed up with us. This is a clear conflict of interest. A customer service agent should be deciding on a returns case and not the sales agent.
I genuinely think that ICASA should come and bring the CPA to bear in this case. Either change the advertising to say "3 day returns policy" or actually give customers what your advertising has led them to expect.
Waveboosters also seem very expensive. We found an installer for less than a third of the price that Waveboosters wanted to charge us for installing their product.
I would not trust this company.

Buy at your peril. We bought a booster during the year. At first it worked well but then we got a call to the door. It appears our booster was interfering with local phone signals. The guy was even able to name the location we bought it from without being told. He informed us that the booster was not on the approved list and was not approved for use in Ireland.
We contacted wavebooster who tried to persuade us to reconfigure the booster though that would still leave us open to action by Comreg. Support at wavebooster then informed us they wanted to take the booster in and to send it to them for testing. Being somewhat doubtful of the company at this stage I tried to bring the booster back to waveboosters direct. So I went to the address on their site to be told that they used to rent space at the building but had not done so for months.
So contacted wavebooster support again and they said they would refund or replace with an approved booster or return cash but the boosters were in shipping at the moment. So I opted for the cash at this stage.
Then to be informed they will not return the cash and if I wanted one that was approved that would require the handing over of additional cash. Even though outside the 30 days return I would say this product was not legal so the 30 day provision is questionable.
So as I say purchase at your peril.
