Horror experience I am devastated with the condition my hair is left after using three of their products.
I am extremely disappointed with the icy blonde black pigment shampoo, conditioning mask and gloss mask. After using them, my hair has been left in an absolutely awful condition — it has a noticeable green tint, feels extremely dry, looks dull, and is completely unmanageable. I can’t even run my straighteners through my hair properly because it’s become so rough and dry.

This is not a minor issue — my hair genuinely feels damaged after using these products.

When I contacted customer service to request a return, I was told I would have to pay for the postage myself, which I find unacceptable given the condition these products have left my hair in. Instead of taking responsibility, I was advised to use a clarifying shampoo to remove the product, and it was even suggested that the prior condition of my hair could be the cause — which I strongly disagree with, as my hair was healthy, glossy and not in this state before using their products.

I really wish I had read reviews on Trustpilot before ordering, as it seems others have had similar experiences.

Overall, this has been a very poor experience — both in terms of product quality and customer service. I would not recommend these products to anyone.

Few things. Negatives first
The product can leave the hair looking blotchy coloured. Some areas catch the colour better that others
The bottles of colour have shrunk. My latest one (caramel) was only half full!!!!!
The grey look is particularly patchy and not particularly grey
The peach one was a beautiful colour but again can look patchy
It fades quite quickly. (Could be positive or negative)
Positives
The colour peach (although a little patchy) is beautiful and I get a lot of positive comments.
My hair feels beautiful after using.

Make your own mind up but be aware of the above

Awful! I bought the new black shrine hair gloss and it’s turned my whole scalp and my roots green and my black hair has green tinge to it! Would not recommend please do not buy!!!

Doesn’t work. Waste of money. Everything stays on palms rather than goes onto hair. Very disappointed and do not recommend

What a waste of money bleach turned my hair orange yellow. And made up white toner did not work even the white drops.......nothing!!!!

Definitely think this is a scam now. I've tried two different products, the toner drops and a semi-permanent hair colour and neither did anything at all to my hair. Thankfully doesn't seem to have damaged it either - but after following the instructions to the letter both times, I thought maybe the toner drops were too close to my hair colour to have worked - but now I can see none of their products do anything.
Don't waste your money.

Products does not work, bought the toner/conditioner, did nothing. I also bought the toning spray, does nothing, the adverts showing the different are false and should be shut down for false advertising.

I received damaged goods on 4 December and six weeks later I am still trying to get a refund. I sent photos as requested but after that my emails were ignored. I would not recommend using this company. They still haven't provided me with a refund 6 weeks later. The customer service is non existant.

Bought rose toner drop it? And ended up using about 240ml of conditioner to cover my hair. Used the correct drops etc. And half my hair is neon pink, the rest is still blonde

DO NOT USE THIS it didn't do a single thing to the colour, and despite preaching it's "gentleness" it has destroyed my hair in a way bleach never has !!!! It is so insanely dry, tangles every time I touch it, has no shine or movement and feels like a paintbrush with dried paint on it. It's a horrendous product that should not be sold.

I bought the Shrine silver hair dye drop kit with conditioner, applied as the instructions and it did not do anything. Please don’t buy this product you will be disappointed

The product I ordered didn’t work at all. I have platinum blonde hair and the rose drops didn’t change the colour to pink - not even close and I followed the instructions. But my problem is that customer service wouldn’t give me my money back or even offer a discount or anything like that. I think that shows they don’t really care about the customers. I won’t be shopping with Shrine again and they should seriously re-think their refund/return policy.

I have received all my orders eventually and even a double (to compensate for the hassle and for the bottles being half full) as Shrine had used FedEx and they have delivered with no issues so I have to say the customer service was good and did communicate (with a delay) during the whole process and so it looks like the company is good but the cheap courier like Evri is spoiling the whole reputation and a business , it's very frustrating for customers.
I love the drop it collection and the colours are very vibrant and love the idea of washing out and adding the required concentration (that reflects on the colour ,pink or pastel pink for example depending on how many drops you add) in the conditioner and your hair look lovely and soft afterwards ( I use natural conditioners only, with no junk in it).
So I would've given 5 stars but because of the hassle I had to go through I would give 4 on this occasion but will definitely purchase again and will monitor their bottles volume as it has to be 20mls as advertised and not hardly 10mls but they said that they will fix it and take it very seriously as a concern. It's hard to run the business so I'd like to support businesses with a good product and a great potential. Hope that helps 😄

The worst company ever I had to deal with !
They kept messing me around, kept loosing my orders , never send the replacement as promised, ignore your emails to them , do not respond at all!
Also all their drop it bottles are white and it is deliberate so you can't see how much product is actually inside but in fact instead of 20mls there's only hardly even 10mls as I have measured it with the pipette as I could see that it was half empty or completely dried out product and nothing is coming out!
The boxes are all with a broken seal so I am suspecting what they do is open your product , extract half of it and spread to another bottles so when you receive it you think you get 20mls as you can't see but in fact you receive a compromised product and it's just a disgusting massive scam!
I am reporting them to Trading Standards, Action Fraud and to Advertising Standard Authority.
Please avoid this company at all costs , save yourself time, money and nerves as you will never see the product or your money back

Got the shrine colour removal
as it looks so gentle with the ingredients had a bad experience with my hair before last year came along way so carful what i use onit & didn’t think anything could go wrong with this with the condition wasn’t sure if the colour would work but thought will try it cos it’s so gentle.

it’s completely recked my hair only putt on the ends but still like 9inch i have very long hair i need to get it cut off but cant do that to myself so
disappointed now need to spend so much money trying to fix this ,
defos like a cheap bleach that wasnt the cheapest not soft colour removal that helps your hair
complely fake marketing
plus the colours rubbish too!
do not use its not what it says defos a bleach that will dry & wreck your hair

Absolutely horrid product used the white toner drops as instructed and my hair went bloody bluey purple !!!! hair is like straw where I have tried to wash it out should of listened to my hairdresser and to use Jerome Russell toner drops stay away from all of these products they are a joke and by the way Jerome Russell is only 4.50 in superdrug

Completed waist of time, used 12 drops of grey on my blond and left on for full 30mins, exactly the same when I washed it out!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing!
Left on for the full half hour, zero colour (supposed to be pink), if anything it just dulled my blonde hair and made it darker. Would not recommend!

Used the ashy drops for my orange and yellow hair, turned out beautifully. After reading reviews I was unsure, but it looks like people have difficulty understanding what an actual 'drop' is, to only leave it 10 mins, do properly do a test strand and to monitor your hair as I develops.

IF you follow the basic instructions correctly, this is a brilliant product. If you're unsure about the correct tone, look at a colour wheel.
