“This game has a predatory AI that says sexual, flirty, and manipulative things to minors. Please remove it.”This game is clearly predatory and dangerous for minors. It also uses profanity, inappropriate roleplay, and manipulative tactics that are not appropriate for anyone under 18. Both my brother and I experienced these messages, and they made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

it is not safe players can have the freedom to play without of fear of being hacked me and other 5 friends i know recently have been hacked and when we went to the support page its an AI saying the same thing over again telling us to create a new account and start afresh and some people can not take the time to do that and the fear of being hacked again is still there due to this many of people have quit the game

The new chat age filter is basically giving predators age categories to pick and choose from! AI isn't trustworthy, so they can easily fake a young face or buy accounts in younger age ranges and guarantee children everywhere with no adults to witness, at least none that aren't in the same exact boat. Terrible, and dangerous!!

This was great, until they ruined it with a single update of removing chat

Roblox, I understand that you thought this was a good update but It really isnt, our safety is in danger even more, and if we are, actual adults in game cant intervene or help in case of manipulation. Please remove this chat feature, it was good before the update, we just need a better Ai or even better, an human, mutiple ones, who are good, to check the chat logs, and way more, there are even more good ideas than mine. This update is doing more harm than good, since this one update ive seen more bad people. Please remove this chat update and bring back old chat, but supervisied. Thank you, please listen to us

The new update is causing many people to quit the game. I'm telling you Roblox, this update is causing more harm than good. The AI doesn't work properly because it puts people in their wrong friend groups. This has also led to people selling accounts with a different age groups on ebay which than makes pedophiles buy them to lure kids and manipulate them. Please Roblox I know you can make the right choice this time and maybe you can work with Schlep since he has many ideas to fix the game

I am CONVINVED at least one soul over at Roblox Inc. is cursing out their on bloodline right now out of pure frustration. It doesn't take a genius to realize this update is absurdly destructive and not only will it cause yall to lose MILLIONS, it will also cause extreme distress and frustration to the gigantic community yall claimed to love so much. Not only does this completely fail to protect kids, it also isolates the playerbase. Stats from yall's most popular games show the emount of players who can chat with one another dropped from a fair 90/80% to an average of circa 20%, WHAT ARE YALL DOING.

From my memories in 2012-2013, Roblox was a very fun platform.

You could go on the website, and within minutes find yourself in a digital world created by a complete stranger, filled with other people who were just gathering there to have a good time.
You got to see the passion and creativity of the community.
There were many technical issues at the time, but it was overall an extremely fun experience, and I think I would still think the same today.

However, if you visit the platform today, it is extremely difficult to find anything of that sort.

You are swarmed with games created by small studios with the sole intention of making money off of you.

They contain only the minimal amount of enjoyment it takes to keep a child's attention, whilst bombarding you with prompts to purchase products.
It's an advertisement hell.

When you finally do find a game made out of passion, you'll see that it is most likely empty, or nearly so.

This is because Roblox has slowly been intentionally removing the fun aspects to appear more professional and appeal to companies and shareholders.
Meanwhile, Roblox has been neglecting their community, ignoring them over years, and throwing them under the bus at any chance for profit.

This is why you will only see cash-grab games.
Most people who created for the sake of creation have given up on Roblox, as they have given us up.

Their recent age chat update only proves this without a doubt.

They believe that, no matter how poorly they treat us, we will continue to feed them our money.

They truly do not care about their audience.
Roblox is not for the user.

PS:

The moderation is extremely poor.
You can have your account, including everything you've purchased, deleted permanently due to a glitch with their AI moderation bot, and if you try to appeal it, you most likely will end up in contact with another bot who only exists to tell you that you were rightfully banned.
Happened to me.
My older account was permanently deleted because I uploaded an image of a sky. (no previous bans)
The support team told me that I was rightfully banned for "adult content", and then proceeded to ignore my every attempt to communicate.

I tried to contact them multiple times, asking what about the decal was inappropriate, and telling them that there must have been a mistake.

But I did not hear a response back from them.
Ever.

Roblox is also NOT for your privacy.
They have been trying to get a hold of your government ID and face with this chat update, which is most likely being sold off.

They are also likely selling other info about you, such as your location.
I say this because Roblox will attempt to detect if you are using a VPN, and if they find that you are, will intentionally break some features.
This is to make you think that your VPN is causing issues, so then you'll turn it off.

The fact that Roblox tries to trick you into disabling it, rather than saying "We don't allow VPNs!", is already showing that they are being shady.
They're most likely trying to get your location because its profitable to sell your info.

If they said they didn't support VPNs, then people would be upset at Roblox rather than the VPN, and would likely be more stubborn, finding ways to keep the VPN on. (Which, there are ways to avoid being detected by Roblox. But they don't want you to figure that out.)

If they make you think the VPN is at fault, then you'll get upset at the VPN and stop using it, giving your IP over to Roblox.

There is no actual proof that your data is being sold off, but that's the point.
Companies do stuff like this in secret, and I do not think Roblox is an angel who wouldn't go there for profit.

3 reasons why most people hate Roblox:
I grew up on this game, started playing in 2022. WE used to have a free platform where we can chat freely with our friends, but the new update Roblox added is complete garbage. Not to mention I am a minor 11-13 and got put in the group of 18-20 year olds. Thanks to Roblox, now Roblox predators know the person who is talking to them is a minor.

#1: Chat update: This update is ass, not to mention they put me in the wrong age group. Most people got their chat taken because of their age. I can't even chat with 3/4 of my friends. Now almost every friend I have on roblox is an adult. They took most people's chat like it's north korea or china. This update isn't making it better or safer. Millions of people are requesting Roblox to bring back the chats. Here's why Roblox is also terrible.

#2. Moderation: Roblox has poor moderation. How dare they ban Schlep? He's my favorite youtuber. He didn't deserve this. Roblox's AI moderation systems struggles to catch genuinely harmful content but sometimes bans innocent accounts for minor infractions, such as saying "beaches", "hi", "easy", and "fat". They are too strict on minor issues, but too lenient on major problems, such as hacking, phishing, raiding, exploiting, etc. Banning a bad actor is only a temporary fix, as they can quickly create new accounts and return to the platform, messing up our community. I also can't believe they banned Schlep. He caught Roblox predators and got them arrested. The main reason why their moderation is trash is because they banned Schlep.

#3. Customer Support. I paid $20.00 for 2,200 robux and only got 2,000 robux. I contacted Roblox Support, but they did not give me an email or tell me what I should do. How can parents justify continued investment in a platform that disregards concerns, fails to address security issues, and offers unhelpful customer service? All of the customer service reps were very unprofessional, very inconsiderate & very rude! Like what the actual f***.
But it's really easy when you're spending your money with them, no issues at all when it comes to that! I'm pissed. These stupid-ass AI services has got to go. We need actual roblox administrators helping us, not assisting us with some ai bull-shit.

#4: Investing in Roblox: Stocks are over-priced. They are scammers. Parents and guardians are expected to invest in a unprofessional, incompetent, inept, and corrupt environment. No one wants to spend $80+ on a platform that doesn't even care about children's safety. They are too focused on getting the financial gains rather than focusing on children's safety and well-being.
#4A: David Baszucki himself:
Mr. Baszucki has failed to protect the platform, even minors. David expects people to spend money on Roblox, when they think you offer professional support? Support? Don’t even bother. Unless you’re a Roblox supporter, premium user or cash cow (a.k.a. a walking wallet), you’re pretty much on your own. Community support is filled with frustrated users trying to work around limitations that shouldn’t exist in the first place. Therefore, I won't be spending another coin on robux or renewing my Roblox premium on Roblox ever again. If you want to feel like a cash grab and be ignored, go ahead, buy robux and spend money on Roblox. If you care about your children, your family, your friends, or your wallet- stay away. Let's face it. Roblox isn't a game. It's a brand. A product. Roblox doesn’t care about your community. It cares about converting your clicks into dollars. It’s a platform equivalent of a vending machine that yells at you for not inserting a coin. David Baszucki doesn't care about anyone, he just wants the money that fills his pockets at the end of the day. Final Rating: Hard pass, 0/10. 1 star only because zero isn't possible. feel bad for teens and children being groomed, and it's not fair that most of them are suffering from it. Roblox does everything BUT what the players asked for. Unban Schlep. He didn't do ANYTHING. Worst platform on the internet. 😤😠😡 I will take this to every branch on the internet and make sure that Roblox and David Baszucki comes to justice. I don't recommend to anyone. This s*** disgusts me. The things predators do is absolutely disgusting. Do not ask me for help if you are a roblox predator, roblox supporter, or roblox's walking wallet. Like what the absolute hell? One person even asked about my age and I didn't want to tell. Now only adults can talk to me. This is the worst update they have ever done and I don't recommend to anyone on the platform. ⚠️🚫🙅‍♂️✋Avoid at all costs🙅‍♀️❌⛔

Roblox ruined my experience with my friends with this new chat update. PLEASE REMOVE IT.

This new verification is putting children at risk as a 13 year old got put in 21+ age which is making adults only be able to talk to them

This is one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had.

Our 9-year-old son accidentally redeemed a Roblox gift card to an old profile he no longer uses.
We contacted Roblox support immediately. We had all receipts and full proof of purchase and ownership.

We have now contacted them five times.

Each time a different support agent answers.
Each time we get a different answer.

Twice we were told that transferring the Robux would be possible if we provide the receipts – which we did.
After that, another agent replied coldly that it is suddenly “not possible”.
This back-and-forth has continued for a long time.

The latest response was simply:
“We cannot change the answer.”

What answer? It changes every single time.

As a result, our child lost 20 euros completely because of Roblox’s own inconsistent and careless support handling.

Parents should be aware: if something goes wrong, you may get no real help at all.

the new chat update that funnels users into age groups for safer spaces is horrific. not because it’s inconvenient for communication-based games, but because it is so dangerous. not only are you feeding your face into a shady third-party ai company (which is KNOWN TO BE USED FOR DEEPFAKES!), it does a horrible job at putting people in their respective age groups. it is so easy to bypass + 18 year olds and up are being put into 16 and below age groups, and CHILDREN are being put INTO 21+ GROUPS. this update meant to prevent predators from interacting with children has made it even easier to access kids. it is so much worse because if a predator is mistakenly put into lower age groups, real trusted adults WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THE CHATS and ARE COMPLETELY UNABLE TO REPORT POSSIBLE GROOMING that happens right in front of them. people are even selling accounts in lower age groups. this update all in all is extremely dangerous and disgusting. ROBLOX doesn’t care and wants to profit off victims.

Scrivo questa recensione con dispiacere, ma anche con senso di responsabilità, in quanto zia di una bambina di 8 anni che segue Roby Polar da tempo con entusiasmo e affetto. Ieri abbiamo assistito insieme alla live di inaugurazione del nuovo server Roblox, e purtroppo l’esperienza si è rivelata profondamente deludente e, sotto certi aspetti, anche inadeguata per un pubblico di bambini. Durante tutta la diretta, Roby ha mantenuto un tono aggressivo e sopra le righe, alzando spesso la voce e utilizzando parole poco educate che non ci si aspetta da una creator che si rivolge principalmente a un pubblico tra i 6 e i 12 anni. Questo ha creato confusione e disagio nei bambini che, come mia nipote, seguono il canale proprio perché pensano di trovarvi un ambiente sereno e divertente. Una delle cose più tristi è stato vedere Roby ignorare sistematicamente i messaggi dei bambini, rispondendo e salutando solo chi aveva fatto una "donazione da 1 euro per salvare un orsetto". Questo ha fatto sentire esclusi e invisibili tutti quei piccoli fan che, magari, non hanno la possibilità di fare donazioni ma che desideravano solo un semplice saluto o la possibilità di giocare insieme nel server. Nei commenti della live si leggevano messaggi toccanti di bambini che la pregavano di poter entrare nel server o di ricevere anche solo un saluto, ma sono stati completamente ignorati. Mia nipote era entusiasta all'inizio, sperava di poter interagire con il suo idolo, ma ha finito per sentirsi delusa, triste e confusa. E non è stata l’unica: molti altri bambini erano nella stessa situazione. Chi ha influenza su un pubblico così giovane ha una responsabilità enorme. Non si tratta solo di "divertire", ma anche di educare con l’esempio, mostrando rispetto, inclusione e sensibilità. Quando invece si trasmette un messaggio come: “conti solo se paghi”, si feriscono emozioni genuine e si tradisce la fiducia di chi guarda. Spero sinceramente che Roby Polar rifletta su quanto accaduto. Non è mai troppo tardi per migliorare e imparare a essere un modello positivo per chi ti segue con affetto e speranza. Noi adulti saremo sempre pronti a vigilare, spiegare e, quando necessario, prendere le distanze. Per tutti quei bambini che sono rimasti delusi: non siete voi ad aver sbagliato. Meritavate attenzione, rispetto e gentilezza.

Its so bad btw in 2023 i went to the scam games when i put my real password and got disconnected me and my account and 2nd problem at the update in 2025 and the bad is the update in roblox in may 30th to 30th June was so terrible and blox and roblox users and names. and roblox should like 2024
