Purchased a Lifetime deal for WebStarts via AppSumo. Moving from WordPress using the Divi Theme. It is refreshing to have one tech support team to work with versus a multitude (each plugin has their own). So far so good. Still getting acquainted with WebStarts, but the tech support is amazing and it appears to do everything I need it to do. Their philosophy of building everything in-house minimizing the need for integrations is good. However, you can still use email parsing to automate things if necessary, which is nice - and in my case, necessary.

I've tried ALL the other streamlined build a website companies and found them way too restrictive (and over priced).

Webstarts just works and the support is not only very responsive they are also very helpful. They are a mature company with a hungry start-up attitude.

Solution includes everything you could possibly want online from basic SEO & SSL to integrated blog and online store. You even get a text with a link if someone submits a form (how cool is that!)

Conclusion: If you are looking to build an online presence with business class email that is simple and still looks very professional look no further than webstarts

This is a great builder. I like it better than Wordpress and was able to transfer my posts easily. I appreciate all the surprising features and I can hardly wait for the updates that are coming. The customer service is very helpful. The UI is easy to navigate as well.

I was amazed at how beautiful and fast my website is when I moved it to Webstarts platform, both on desktop and on mobile. The learning curve for me using their editor was very minimal to none at all, well considering I have a developer / designer background and experience! Nonetheless, I have a great experience with their support team as well!

I'd used Webstarts before and recently returned to them to set up a new website. I would recommend them for their easy to use website editor and extensive bank of help videos if you need to know how to do something. And if that's not enough, you can drop them an email and they are pretty quick at coming back with an answer. I'm happy.

Webstarts is a great platform. As for me being a web developer I can see that this platform is far more better than any platform I have tried. My websites are more responsive the loading of the websites is fast I would recommend this platform to any web developer who do not won't to code. Their customer service is great.

I’m not tech savvy at all but was able to build my membership site with the help of Webstarts videos available on YouTube. Prices are reasonable too. No extra hidden costs, or hidden challenges to make you pay more. So happy to have found Webstarts.

As a long time WebStarts user, once again they have proved superior in customer service as I had an issue with a new website I am building. On top of that, their website builder is so easy to use but at the same time is so intricate that the most complex websites are a piece of cake with WebStarts.

You're better off creating a site somewhere else that doesn't want to take your money every chance it gets. If you want to open an online store DO NOT use WebStarts. You have to upgrade your account in order to view all the information someone has submitted through a contact form. Not to mention if you need to view details of an order form that someone has submitted, you again need to have an upgraded account. Being able to view orders or look at contact submissions are the most important features, and usually come free on other sites. Dedicated most of my day finally getting my site together and ready, only for it to be a TOTAL waste of time.

Edit: My complaint isn't that the site isn't free. It's understandable that using a platform to make money would ask for an investment of some sort. My complaint is that the website isn't upfront about the fees to begin with. The only reason I found about certain features is because I tried to send test messages to myself and could not viee them. Even if the purpose of the site created is to make a blog, I don't see why simply being able to see a message that someone sent you through a form is hidden behind a paywall. As someone who's tried out Wix before and didn't like it too much, I would prefer it simply because compared to what WebStarts offer users for free, it's much more flexible and customizable, AND getting messages via contact form from readers/viewers is free.

Edit 2: To clarify, when I said customization I was referring to the overall customization of the site, not the forms. The only thing you really need a contact form to do is get the person's name, contact, and message sent (which you can view without upgrading). In regards to price, I feel wix's features that users the needs (and more) to run a site vs more luxury features that a user would want (like opening shop, domain names, etc) are balanced enough to not make at users (at least me personally) feel like they were backed into a corner. Also, I don't feel it's too necessary to contact directly since I already know WebStart's stance in the matter.

Easy to learn, user friendly and seamless design.
Price is very favourable, too (provided it stays like that!).
Good after market lessons and advice. As a UK client I was/am impressed by the quick responses I get from their support team even though there is a 5 or 6 hour time difference!
