We understand condition plays an important part in a vehicle’s price that’s why we always carry out a professional appraisal before we make an offer. We invite all our customers to join the branch manager for the appraisal so that you can fully understand the appraisal process and see what we see when we look over a used vehicle. The appraisal process includes physical and mechanical checks of the vehicle, running a vehicle history check through providers such as Experian or CARFAX, and we run OBDII diagnostics on the vehicle to check for any engine or drivetrain issues. If the appraisal finds any issues with the car, these are always considered as part of our final offer.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review about your experience. We appreciate all the feedback we receive and try to address any concerns our customers have. We’re sorry we couldn’t quite meet your expectations on price for your 2004 Ford Focus.

Our leadership team launched an investigation and have been trying to get in touch with you by phone and email so we could listen to your feedback and try to restore your faith in webuyanycar.com. Unfortunately, we’ve been unsuccessful at connecting with you after multiple attempts.

Like any reputable car buyer we have to price vehicles based on their condition. We’re not worried about normal wear and tear or small dings and dents, but major issues that would negatively impact the mechanical or safety features and therefore degrade resale value. During the inspection process we invite you to join us while we review the car so you can see what we see. It’s all part of our commitment to transparency. If we find any issues that we were previously unaware of, we must take these into consideration when making our final offer. Unfortunately, when inspecting your Ford Focus, we discovered and were most concerned with rust and potential structural damage to the undercarriage of the vehicle. That, coupled with other issues like missing wheel covers, meant we had to adjust what we could offer.

We try to operate in a pressure-free environment, and we’re glad we could get you a price you were happy to accept. We never want our customers to leave feeling upset about any aspect of their appointment, that’s why we’ve been trying to reach you by phone and email.
