The guys there were really friendly and accommodating. The entire process was less than an hour and a half. We left with a check that we were satisfied with.

Low ball offer
A low ball offer killed the deal. They apparently didn’t want my car and should have said that instead of insulting me. CarMax bought the car for a lot more then we don’t buy any car.
I hope your happy now!

---Update---
Hi Rob,
Thank you for responding to our request for more information and thank you for taking the time to speak with our leadership team. We're thankful Area Manager, Carlos, had the opportunity to investigate your experience.
We will be using your feedback to improve our service and train our team on how to better serve our customers. We apologize to you, our team could have done a better job communicating and guiding you through the process of a custom quote. A 1989 Mustang requires much closer review to understand the condition of the vehicle and provide an accurate valuation estimate and we dropped the ball.
We remain committed to you, and if there is anything further we can do, if there is anything further you want to discuss, don't hesitate to call Carlos back directly. You can also email our customer experience team at customerfeedback@webuyanycarusa.com.
Kind Regards,
Kevin, on behalf of webuyanycar.com

Hi Rob,
Our leadership team would like to speak with you about your feedback. We would like to investigate your experience because it is outside the norm and not typical of a webuyanycar.com experience.
We are looking to gain clarity as to how our team member required you bring the 1989 Ford Mustang in for an appraisal before giving a valuation, but then simultaneously provided a valuation that was a fraction of what CarMax offered. We need to understand this better so we can address your concerns.
We do routinely meet and sometimes beat competitors’ offers. If you had an offer from CarMax, we would have done everything possible to earn your business. We record all calls for quality and training purposes and would be happy to pull the recording to better understand what occurred.
Unfortunately, with the limited information available, I can’t find a record of you in our system. I have sent you a private message via Trustpilot requesting more information so we can locate you in our system and find your contact information. We’d value the opportunity to connect with you 1-on-1 and restore your trust in our business.
Thank you again for raising this concern and for responding to our request for more information. We hope to have the opportunity to work together to give you the positive outcome we are known for. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind Regards,
Kevin, on behalf of webuyanycar.com
