I had such a lovely experience finding my wedding dress here. The staff were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful . They made me feel comfortable and never pressured me into making a decision. The selection of dresses was beautiful, and I found the perfect one for my big day. I would highly recommend this shop to any bride-to-be.

I loved my experience at wed2b. The store manager looked after me and my family and she made me feel beautiful. I was nervous looking for a dress as I'm plus size so shopping in general is hard for me. But she picked 2 dresses which fit me perfectly and helped me choose the perfect dress, belt and veil. I'm very happy with my experience and fully recommend them!

Bally was fantastic she was so sweet and patient. I had not seen anything that I liked, but she made a suggestion for me to try a dress that she felt would suit me and the place of my wedding and it was a hit.
I’m in love with my dress and can only thank the lovely Bally.
All the staff were professional and helpful, I cannot thank them enough, but Bally is my star.

The in-store service initially seemed lovely, and the staff were very friendly, which made me feel reassured at the time. Looking back now, it feels as though this was simply about selling, selling, selling, with little genuine care as to whether the dress was actually the right fit or could realistically be altered properly.

I was sold the dress (SKYE), which was clearly not the correct size, and I was repeatedly assured in store that it could be altered to fit. The staff were physically pulling and pinching the dress behind me, saying “this is what the seamstress will do,” as if that somehow guaranteed it would be fine.

I also raised concerns that the bottom half of the dress felt far too thick, with excessive material bunching up noticeably underneath the lace. Again, I was told not to worry because “the seamstress can fix that too.”

Trusting their advice, I also chose a seamstress from their recommended list, which I now deeply regret.

When I attended the appointment with the seamstress a few days ago, the experience was appalling. She was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in professionalism. Before even discussing the dress properly, she spent most of the time talking about how amazing she was, boasting about designing dresses in Paris and how exceptional her work is.

As soon as I arrived, she told me to strip, shut my friend out of the room, and got me into the dress with no sensitivity or respect whatsoever.

When I explained the alterations I had been assured could be done, she bluntly told me they were “impossible.” She then stated that the material was so cheap that if she tailored the dress properly to fit my body, it would likely rip as soon as I sat down. And that was only regarding the fit around the sides of my body.

I then asked if the back of the dress could be altered under my bum, and she laughed and said, “What bum?” At that point my friend had come back into the room, and we both just looked at her in complete shock.

I left feeling humiliated, embarrassed, and completely devastated. I felt ugly, and the dress has now become something I hate even looking at. With my wedding later this year and so much money already spent, I have been in tears for days over this.

I contacted Wed2B customer service by phone and spoke to a lovely lady who said they would see what could be done regarding a refund.

I was then asked to send an email with full details of everything discussed, along with photos of me in the dress in store. I have now received a response refusing a refund and telling me I either need to go to another seamstress or exchange it for another dress.

Why would I want to go back and spend more money with a company that sold me a poorly fitting dress made from “cheap material,” reassured me with false promises, and recommended rude and incompetent seamstresses?

Why would I trust another seamstress from their “recommended list” when the first one left me feeling humiliated and made it clear the dress itself is the problem?

And why would I exchange for another dress from the same place when this entire experience has shown me exactly how little care is given once the sale is made?

I need my money refunded so I can find another dress before my wedding.

This company shows no real care for the women trusting them to help them feel beautiful on one of the biggest days of their lives.

This dress has not been altered and has only been taken out of the bag once. If you are happy to sell dresses that countless other people have already tried on, there is absolutely no reason you cannot take this one back and issue a refund.

Katie and Bally couldn’t have been more welcoming.
There is no pressure at all to buy anything and listened to what style I liked and didn’t.
They did so well I actually bought the fourth dress I tried on! Couldn’t recommend more

I came in at 12:00 and it was a little busy so there was a wait to be seen initially. My assigned consultant Katie was fantastic and brought me beautiful dresses to try on based on my likes and dislikes. The whole consultation was very enjoyable. The rest of the team also chipped in to help with the accessory fitting and gave useful advice. I walked away happy with a wonderful dress and accessories to match!

Visited the store on Sunday and was looked after by Amelia, she was lovely and warm and nothing was too much for her. It was a double consultation as both me and my mom were looking for dresses and her energy and positivity radiated throughout, despite the long appointment. There was no pressure when it came down to making a decision and allowed us to take our time. Thank you for such a lovely first experience wedding dress shopping!

From the moment we walked in to the second we walked out l felt welcomed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Ameilia was my wedding dress consultant and she was amazing. So very friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. She listened to what I was looking for. She also came up with a dress that at first glance I wasn't keen on but once l'd put it on it ultimately turned out to be the one l loved and ended up buying. I would highly recommend visiting this store. I really had a great experience considering l'm not a confident person. Ameilia's kind personality helped put my mind at ease. Thank-you Ameilia.

Katie was the lady who helped me find my beautiful dress.
She was kind, easy to get on with and made me feel really comfortable.
She also had to deal with my big party with lots of options and she put everyone at ease.

Such a lovely experience at the Birmingham central store. I originally went to the Wednesbury store for my first ever try on of dresses and felt a bit deflated, it just wasn’t the experience I was expecting, got put in dresses that I told them I didn’t like the style of. Decided to try again but went to the Birmingham central store instead and it was like night and day. They were so welcoming and I immediately felt more comfortable. My consultant Jennifer was awesome, she found dresses that was way more my style. She didn’t make me feel rushed or pressured and let me put on the same dress twice and I left with my dress and veil and couldn’t be happier. I’d a 100% recommend this shop. Thank you Jennifer and Bali.

Jenny was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She was very attentive and was able to help me pick out several designs I really liked after just a few questions. After I decided on a dress, Jenny also advised me on alterations and helped me pick out lovely accessories which I really appreciated. The whole wed2b team was very helpful and enthusiastic and we had a really enjoyable time - would definitely recommend!

I said yes to my dress today. It was an amazing experience the staff was extremely helpful I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely recommend.

I had a consultant that was not knowledgeable to start so my sister asked another consultant to help who was absolutely amazing! Her knowledge and understanding was just great. She helped me with all i wanted and needed and found my dress!! :)

It was an emergency situation as i was getting married within days of visitng your store in birmingham . My mother is in a hospice and is very poorly. The staff allowed us to have a ceremony there so mum could attened . I only had a few hours to choice a dress and michaela and Amelia helped me find the dress . Thankyou x

Fab experience today with Katie no negatives at all. she made me feel comfortable and most importantly listened to my preferences. Would definitely recommend.
