Loved my experience at Wed2be. Ocean was a massive help. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but she asked a few questions and away she went. I came away with two dresses and so pleased with them. Ocean was so lovely even when I was being vague and unsure. At one point she took my daughter off with her to look at dresses which was wonderful to include her in that way! Would thoroughly recommend going and find your dress here!

Update- Wed2b have replied below to my review making it sound like they have resolved the problem but it hasn’t. I’ve now escalated my complaint to their Complaints Team (different to their customer service team). I’ll update when I get a reply.

I have given a 1 star review for the after sales customer service. Our story begins with a very positive experience in my daughter falling in love with her wedding dress from here. The problem came when a few weeks later trying it on for the seamstress with the underskirt that we bought there too. We were under the impression that the dress and underskirt would have been the ones she tried on in the shop but the underskirt as soon as she put it on did not give the dress shape like the one in the shop. I contacted customer service thoroughly expecting at least an exchange or credit note only to be told as I was out of the 14 day period no exchange BUT as I explained , this one wasn’t the one we thought we were getting so hence missold and under the Consumer Act 2015 we had an open and shut case for at least a credit note or for her to go back and try on other underskirts that would give her the shape that we thought we were sold.
Future brides beware … yes the dress you try on is the one you take home but not the underskirt. I understand that we got a brand new unused one but at no stage were we told not the one we actually wanted.
For the sake of good customer service I think Wed2b have missed an opportunity here. I have read other reviews about others wanting exchanges and being flatly refused so please make sure everything you buy on the day is what you want. They don’t want to know after that.
Also, we never got the fit notes for the seamstress which we should have got that would have explained this.
I am now going to try a Section 75 dispute through my credit card company as the product was misrepresented.
I would like the opportunity to speak further with someone else from Wed2b as in my eyes it is obvious we didn’t get what we thought we were getting. We are not asking for much just a credit note would suffice.

Can’t thank Jazz enough for her help, patience, time and advice yesterday and for making me see the possibilities of an off the peg gown, seamstress now booked! Lovely experience, thank you x

I had a wonderful experience on Sunday at wed2be Manchester, Millie was so nice she listened to what kind of dresses I liked. Millie went away & found my dream dress. What a lovely experience thanks to Millie 🤍

⭐️ Very poor experience — 1 star

Went today to collect 6 bridesmaid dresses. I’d called specifically to check when they’d arrive, only to be told they’d actually been sitting in store ready for collection since the end of April. It is now 15th June — over six weeks later — and I’d heard absolutely nothing.

When I raised this, the manager claimed someone tried calling me back in April. I check my voicemail daily; there were no missed messages or calls from them anywhere. She also said email is their standard process — but no email was sent either. On their own record form, it clearly shows only one single note of a “call attempt”, with none of the follow‑ups or extra tries that should have happened.

Then I was charged £10 per dress just for plastic covers/bags — the cheapest of items. Given how badly handled the whole process was, you’d expect these to be offered as a simple goodwill gesture, not an extra fee.

When we finally got the dresses out, she just said “check them” but didn’t explain what exactly we were supposed to be checking. I even had to prompt her to open the packaging fully so I could confirm the sizes were right.

Disorganised, poor communication, and unhelpful attitude even from the manager herself. Not the service you expect when you’re preparing for a wedding — definitely won’t be recommending.

Chloe was absolutely incredible! She found everything I wanted! She helped me try the dresses I’d seen online, listened to what I liked/didn’t like about them, found me other dresses that I hadn’t even considered and actually found me THE DRESS! She made me feel so at ease throughout and took a genuine interest in our wedding day. She really helped me to feel confident and comfortable. She wasn’t pushy and didn’t put any kind of pressure on me. She made my experience a really positive one! Thank you so much Chloe!

Excellent experience at the Manchester store with Ocean. She was lovely, bubbly, helpful and made us feel at ease. Found my perfect dress which topped it off!

Highly recommend visiting Wed2b Manchester! It was my first time dress shopping and I'd only gone to start looking at options, I never meant to find the one! So appreciative of Jazz's time; she was an exceptional stylist who spent so much time showing me how to personalise gowns, from sleeves to belts and so much more. Can't thank her enough!

Millie was just amazing. After trying 10 dresses on with another member of staff I just wasn't getting the right vibe for my dress. However millie came in and picked my perfect dress out. Literally the one I had envisioned.
Would definitely recommend Wed2b.

I couldn’t rate my experience at wed2be more highly. It was my first dress shop visit and I had no expectation of finding my dress, but I left with the most amazing one. Kelis who looked after us was absolutely amazing, super approachable and so enthusiastic, making me feel very comfortable. The shop manager also came out to see me in the dress too and they were all so supportive and complimentary, but also not pushy at all. I was dragging out my ‘say yes’ til after the store had technically closed and there was no pressure from them at all. The dress selection was amazing, I think I tried about 12, one of each style, so felt like I had covered all bases. The price of my dress could have been triple in another shop with no difference in the quality. The only flag would be that when we arrived on a Tuesday afternoon there was initially a two hour wait, it ended up being more like 1.5hr but just to be aware. It actually helped us in the end to have the time anyway as we could browse all the dresses while we waited. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

They were really friendly, gave me lots of choices. They were super patient. I found my dream dress and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The staff at the Manchester store were really friendly as soon as we walked in! I was abit nervous but it was a relaxed atmosphere which I liked. I was served by Jazz who helped me pick my dream dress! She was friendly ,caring and very patient as there was so many beautiful dresses to choose from. I would highly recommend , thank you!

The staff were really helpful and kind. The lady helping me very quickly got the idea of what kind of thing I liked, and showed me accessories that complimented the different gowns. There was a huge choice of gowns at really competitive prices and I found exactly what I wanted. There was no pressure put on me to buy. However, I did choose my dress and said yes today! Thank you so much!

I had a great experience today. I felt completely at ease and under no pressure it was all very relaxed. Keisha was fantastic and picked out some fabulous dresses for me to try and I found my perfect dress. I’m very happy and would recommend

Such a shame we went today and as soon as my friend said she didn’t have a date booked and since then the women seemed like she didn’t care unfortunately couldn’t give you her name but we have a photo of her she was extremely rude and so unprofessional like if she didn’t want to serve us that’s fine but don’t make my friends day horrible and how at the end she had the audacity to ask if she was buying it after the customer service we received made us feel extremely uncomfortable and just such an unpleasant experience and now when the times comes to her buying her wedding dress and me buying mine we will not be coming her was a unfortunate experience I felt awful for my friend who just wanted to feel special for the day to begin her journey in being a bride if you don’t like her or us just ask for someone else to deal with us as we were nothing but pleasant to her.
