WPD has been an excellent partner during the whole process of our civil wedding. We took the full service along with apostille service. The suggestions from them were quite helpful in arranging the documents before sending them to AFL which they handled. Everything went smoothly and Fatih was quite professional during the whole process. We are just waiting for the certificate with Apostille which I believe Fatih will send out soon.
Only three constructive points for which I would take off a star :
1. Since I provided all the documents, it would have been additional support If I was not asked to fill the forms since the form was a bit confusing at times.
2. The markup on their apostille service is quite huge. â¬30 when done yourself compared to â¬250 when they do it. The markup is nothing wrong to have as a business. I am not sure how much work one has to put in if done yourself since I trusted WPD, but I only suggest the perspective clients to have this information before deciding to opt for their service.
3. Fatih is quite open to writing emails. However, when spending around â¬1000 for a service, it is important that the service is not just transactional. I would have felt more welcome and the service more personal with a good welcome phone call without me having to request it.
Overall, it was a very good experience working with Fatih. I can recommend this to anyone deciding to getting wed in Denmark.
Tip: Fatih suggested Elsinore townhall for us to get wed since Copenhagen was full. There is a direct train from Copenhagen to Elsinore and the small town with cobbled streets is really beautiful. The wedding takes place in the hall where the city council meets which is again really beautiful. I can highly recommend the town. Thanks to Fatih!

Wir haben Anfang Januar den Antrag gestellt und konnten letztendlich doch an unserem Wunschdatum Ende Februar heiraten. Unsere Wunschlocation war zwar nicht verfÌgbar, aber es wurde recht unkompliziert eine Alternative gefunden und ich muss sagen, dass wir sehr froh sind, dass unsere Hochzeit in Helsingor stattgefunden hat, da nicht nur der Ort, sondern auch das Rathaus wunderschön sind. Avoid! Go with Marry Abroad Simply
Fatih (owner) told us that Copenhagen City Hall was booked out until March (we requested January). Turns out this was not true, my wife and I married in Copenhagen in mid January and there were multiple other days available that month. Why did he claim March? Turns out Copenhagen City Hall refuses to work with Fatih! He lied in a failed attempt to convince us to accept a wedding in HelsingÞr.
I highly recommend staying away from this company. We went with Marry Abroad Simply instead and we couldnât be happier.

Ich bin sehr unzufrieden mit diesem Hochzeitsplaner und ich kann die anderen Rezensionen kaum verstehen. Vielleicht habe ich auch einfach nur Pech gehabt.
Mein Mann und ich wollten unsere standesamtliche Hochzeit planen lassen.
Wir haben keine schwierige Situation und kein Zeitdruck und wollten nur bei der gesamten Trauung unterstÃŒtzt und begleitet werden.
Uns war dabei vor allem wichtig, dass die Hochzeit unkompliziert und möglichst nahe an der deutsch-dÀnischen Grenze stattfindet, um Zeit zu sparen. Es wurde die wunderschöne Insel ÃrÞ (Aeroe).
- Ich kontaktierte den Wedding Planner,
- schickte ihm mehrfach unsere Unterlagen und
- erhielt schlieÃlich einen Termin.
Genau so sah der komplette Service fÌr 945 ⬠aus.
Wir haben zu keiner Zeit einen Weddingplanner gesehen. Es gab keinerlei Erinnerungen und es haben wesentliche Informationen gefehlt. Wir waren eigentlich ganz auf uns alleine gestellt.
Bereits zu Beginn wurden kaum Fragen beantwortet. Es hieà immer wieder, dass Fragen erst nach der Bezahlung geklÀrt wÌrden. Dadurch und weil mein Ausweis nur noch 4 Monate gÌltig war, wurde uns dann ein Express-Tarif berechnet. Obwohl wir es nicht eilig hatten. Bei Nachfrage wurde mir dann mitgeteilt, dass der Tarif spÀter noch einmal angepasst werde, was jedoch nicht geschah. Es geht mir hier nicht um das Geld, sondern um den Service.
Mangelnde Information zur Anreise:
Aus einer letzten E-Mail erfuhr ich erst, dass wir einen Tag vor der Trauung nach DÀnemark reisen mÃŒssen, um unsere Unterlagen einzureichen, allerdings ohne konkrete Uhrzeit oder Terminangabe. Da keine detaillierten Informationen vorab kommuniziert wurden, musste ich selbst die Ãffnungszeiten recherchieren.
Letztlich kamen wir dort um 14 Uhr an und es stellte sich heraus, dass das Standesamt in dieser Woche aufgrund von starkem Schneefall bereits um 13 Uhr schloss und wir somit vor geschlossenen TÃŒren standen.
Meiner Ansicht nach gehört es zu den wesentlichen Aufgaben eines Hochzeitsplaners, diese Informationen dem Kunden rechtzeitig mitzuteilen.
Unzureichende Hinweise zu FÀhrverbindungen:
Obwohl mir aus eigener Recherche bekannt war, dass ÃrÞ ausschlieÃlich per FÀhre erreichbar ist, fehlten Angaben zu FahrplÀnen, den unterschiedlichen Abfahrtsstellen und dass man am besten im Voraus ein Ticket kauft. Dadurch warteten wir bei Minusgraden stundenlang im Auto, da die FÀhren nur alle 3-4 Stunden fahren und wir offenbar an der falschen Anlegestelle erschienen sind. FÃŒr jemanden, der diese FÀhre zum ersten Mal nutzt, wÀren schon wenige Informationen oder eine Empfehlung, welche Abfahrtsstelle und Uhrzeit optimal ist, ÀuÃerst hilfreich gewesen.
Trotz der Zahlung des Express-Tarifs von 945 Euro haben wir letztendlich erst 4-5 Monate spÀter mit dem neuen Ausweis geheiratet, was fÌr uns vollkommen in Ordnung war, da wir es ja nicht eilig hatten. Eine Nachberechnung hat nicht stattgefunden.
Empfehlung:
RÃŒckblickend hÀtte ich die Hochzeit genauso gut direkt mit dem Standesamt in ÃrÞ organisieren können. Die Mitarbeiter dort sprechen Deutsch, sind sehr hilfsbereit und bieten denselben Service ohne unnötige Zusatzkosten. Wer in ÃrÞ heiraten möchte, sollte einfach nach âÃrÞ Kommune Standesamtâ googeln und
- sich direkt melden,
- die Unterlagen einreichen und
- einen Termin vereinbaren.
Also der selbe Aufwand und man spart dabei viele Hundert Euro.
Ich hoffe, diese Rezension hilft anderen, eine Entscheidung zu treffen und eine entspanntere Trauung zu ermöglichen.
