Well-Polished St Albans.

I definitely would not recommend this agency based on our latest experience. While the cleaner we had was fairly decent and willing to accommodate with different dates when she was not able to attend on regular cleaning, the management's contact was entirely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional.

When our cleaner communicated that she could not come as scheduled for a particular week, she offered two alternative dates which we could not accommodate - a Sunday and a Bank holiday Monday. Rather than addressing the issue constructively, communication from the agency was confrontational, dismissive and unnecessarily accusatory. I was effectively blamed for being unable to accommodate the only dates offered, was not offered a substitute cleaner, and was spoken to in a manner wholly inappropriate for any professional service provider.

As a result we terminated our cooperation with immediate effect and would not consider their services again.

If considering this agency, make sure to read all one star reviews first and definitely do not commit to a standing order payment before the course of the month and before you get to assess the level of service.

Contacted WP to book a deep clean, and they were very communicative and attentive until the point where I had paid their £60 admin fee to confirm a clean.

They indicated that a deep clean based on the photos I provided would take 8 hours, which I was more than happy with. On the day of the cleaner's visit it only took 4 hours, including 45 minutes to kindly go to the supermarket and fetch cleaning products as it wasn't made clear that we needed to provide them.

Several areas were missed, including under the sofa, skirting boards, dusting in corners, shelves above eye height, inside cupboards, and cupboard exteriors. We contacted WP to confirm whether these should have been included in a deep clean, and they provided a checklist of what can be expected in a surface clean and a deep clean - which would have been useful to have before the clean.

I requested a refund of the £60 admin fee, as I wasn't satisfied that they had fulfilled their administrative tasks (communicating with the cleaner that we wanted a deep clean, providing transparent information on what to expect from the service) and started receiving phonecalls from the founder offering to "rectify" the situation by booking another cleaner, for which WP would receive another admin fee. The founder refused to accept any responsibility or accountability, and went on to incinuate I was lying about the experience and that the photos I'd taken after the clean "might have been mixed up" with photos from before the clean took place.

At this point I've spent £160 for a 4-hour surface clean that doesn't even meet Well Polished's own surface clean checklist, and they only seem interested in protecting the admin fee they've charged, and being able to charge more for subsequent bookings.

Our cleaner is fantastic . We have had cleaners before and she is by far the best. Well Polished have been great and would recommend them as a company

Chantelle is an excellent and thorough cleaner. Well Polished renders an outstanding service just like I've always wished for when looking for someone coming to clean my house.

The cleaners supplied by Well Polished have done a thorough job consistantly. They have always been punctual and where I have needed to vary schedule this has been accomodated. Unlike some agencies, its always the same cleaner who attends and absences or switches are discussed and agreed in advance. Well Polished (Hannah) is a pleasure to deal with.

Absolutely delighted with my cleaner. She was punctual, thorough, and left the whole house sparkling. Great attention to detail and she was friendly and easy to communicate with. I’d happily recommend Well Polished to anyone looking for reliable, high‑quality cleaning.

WELL Polished Bradford. This company worked hard to find me a cleaner that I was comfortable with , and it took five tries. I have a cleaner who is punctual , works hard, who is willing to do any task I ask of her and in the order I need them doing I am a very happy client.

We have asked the services of Well Polished twice now. Both ladies have left our home beautifully clean .
Chantelle came recently and she was very pleasant and professional. She even offered to make up beds for visitors which we feel was very thoughtful of her. We will definitely ask for help when we need it from this company again.

Norwich franchise - The individual cleaner was fabulous and was really happy to have her.. the issue came when I tried to cancel my subscription due to personal reasons. Whilst the owner confirmed they had received my cancellation, they attempted to charge my card nine times. They ignored my messages about this. They only stopped trying to charge my card when I bought up the Financial Conduct Authority.

This company run by SS Edge Limited are terrible. Their staff are always late, do not clean competently, management are liars and don’t care and to top it off after ending the contract after 3 months of poor service, they expect us to pay them three months extra for free. Avoid like the plague. This is a disgrace of a company.

The company is claiming that they don’t use SS Edge Limited as a franchisee but we have a contract that is headed with their name.

- The office gave polite, efficient service leading up to and after the clean.
- Our cleaners were fast and cleaned above and beyond what we expected.
- The price was very reasonable.

Fantastic service, very hard working and great attention to detail with each clean, well trusted too and would highly recommend for anyone who has a busy lifestyle and can’t find the time to do the time consuming hard to reach cleaning..
