I am extremely disappointed with the one-off cleaning service I received from Bright & Beautiful North Tyneside which I booked in April. The team failed to deliver on what I had communicated 3 weeks prior to booking, in several key areas:
Incomplete Work: Despite booking the entire house, several rooms were left completely untouched.
Substandard Quality: For the areas that were actually cleaned, the work was far below a professional standard.
Misquoted Service: I explicitly requested a clean of every room in the property.

Instead, I received a partial service based on their past quotes for regular cleans, which is not what was agreed upon. This resulted in an increased inflated price of £180 for a partial clean in a 3 bedroom semi detached house which I paid via bank transfer due to a past cleaning history and therefore unable to reclaim a full/partial refund via my bank.

Overall, this service was highly unprofessional and did not meet basic expectations and I had to chase multiple times as they were in denial that they provided a poor service. I would not recommend them for regular, one-off or deep cleaning jobs.

We've been using Bright & Beautiful's Stourbridge branch for over two years now and couldn't be happier with the service. While they're not the cheapest option, the quality and reliability more than justify the cost.

We have a large house and they clean every two weeks with a consistent team of usually three ladies who are always polite and do an excellent job of keeping on top of everything.

Occasionally, as might be expected, a small area gets missed when we've had extra guests and additional rooms to clean, but whenever we mention it, they always put it right on the next visit without any fuss.
Our visitors frequently comment on how clean and well-presented the house looks, which says a lot.

The new holiday booking system is a little less flexible than the old banked hours approach, but we've adapted to it without any major issues.

Overall, we're so pleased with the service that I've happily recommended them to several neighbours — something I certainly wouldn't do if we weren't completely satisfied.

I would like to thank the 2 lovely ladies that cleaned my mother in laws home today in Portsmouth . We lost my father In law almost a year ago and things got too much for her to keep on top of even though we tried to help, so we booked a big deep clean. We walked back in when they had finished and her home smelt so fresh and clean and was spotless. They even tidied her bedroom and folded towels on her shelves, it felt like a hotel room.
From the initial enquiry to a home visit and finally the clean a very professional, friendly and thorough service. Will definitely be using them again.

Taken me a while to write this review having lost my Dad late last year.
Bright and beautiful cleaned my Dad’s house for a few years and when he was poorly in hospital they were AMAZING.
Banked hours that we paid for that weren’t needed until he was due home and then when he passed away they were so supportive and helped me get the house ready to put on the market.
I can’t praise them enough. Trustworthy, kind and so efficient. Thank you.

I had a trial shift with bright and beautiful, I went to 3 houses and did 2 hour cleans on each house with two other people, 6 hours in total. I waited days for a promised phone call and they ended up sending an email saying how well I cleaned and my attention to detail where perfect..yet they couldn’t take me on because I was in other words ‘too friendly’ even though on previous emails sent said ‘we want polite and friendly’ never heard anything so pathetic in all my life!! Meeting new people for the 1st time and simply introducing myself and cracked ok working, I haven’t been paid for this either. Stay well away if you fancied a job there ! Clearly using people

The team have done a great job on my flat getting it looking spotless after the outgoings tenants left it dirty. It is now ready for me to sell. 😁 I live 180 miles away and was able to organise it all remotely after the initial inspection and quote.

Waste of time. Area rep came to talk up the service, said they could accommodate all my needs no issues, gave me hope as two very disabled people who can't clean the house themselves. Spent an hour here and took me 24 to recover from it, when I get an email saying actually they're not going to take me as a client. I ask why, what can I do? Ghosts me for days to give me a "sorry but no" email. Disabled people beware of these time wasters.

Harriet is a delight to work with, my wife and I were very satisfied. Her team was friendly, hard working and professional. They did a wonderful job cleaning our three floor house in Murrayfield.

The cleaning Bright and Beautiful did was first class, but things were left dirty. Dusting behind radio. DVD and music centre to name a few. I was told paintwork would be cleaned. The banister wasn't touched downstairs finger marks left. Kitchen floor was cleaned but edges where rug was was left with dirty line round it. Gap between washing machine and fridge not touched. And legs under piano still had spilt drink mark on it. All in all I wouldn't recommend this company and they were not very friendly. Rang company but didn't get a response

Booked a deep clean for our home and it was truly worth it. The team did the job with a passion and were professional at all times. They left the house looking ready for a royal visit, and me with a winning feeling. Thank you Bright & Beautiful

An absolutely 1st class service received.
I arranged a visit to go through my needs for a weekly house clean for my parents. The initial visit was with a lovely professional lady called Jo.
She listened to my needs and put a plan together.
A week later we had an initial deep clean at the address and what can I say. What a marvellous team they have. Nothing was too much trouble and the level of customer service was impeccable.
The staff were really friendly and the standard of cleaning was second to none. No stone was left unturned from floor to dealing a complete deep clean was undertaken with absolutely amazing results. Very professional staff with lots of care taken to the clients needs whilst at the property.
Incredible service and I can honestly say I couldn’t recommend this company enough.
I’m one very happy customer and so are my parents too xx

Bright & Beautiful Telford - My advice:

Check your banked hours, when and how they are used. Take control of these yourself! You pay for them whether you use them or not!

Make sure you get your regular pattern in place to suit you - flexibility is not something that you will find easily

Be careful when you give notice - it matters!

Bright & Beautiful Worthing has cleaned my house for the last seven years and always provided an exceptional service. Led by the wonderful Carla Ellis, the team has excellent attention to detail, and are always reliable, efficient, punctual and courteous. My home is always fresh and clean after each visit. I have chosen this company (Bright&Beautiful Grantham) because simply ‘they are the best’. I have never before come across such a high standard of work and such lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble, the house always looks and feels amazing after a visit ( even my husband agrees so that is a definite 10* service, never has he said this about any other cleaners). Our deep clean today by Bright and Beautiful Portsmouth has left us delighted and thrilled with the quality of work. High standards, professional organisation, and attention to detail are all clearly evident in the work carried out.

Me and my partner are extremely impressed with our first deep clean from Bright and Beautiful Colchester. Our home looked immaculate and they went the extra mile to tidy up some of our things and make it presented beautifully, and made our cat happy with some treats we left. It felt like walking into an air bnb after work. Communication with the manager Kelly has been prompt, professional and friendly. No faults.
