Great first time experience
First time ordering from them and it was great. My order shipped within 24 hours and I had it 48 hours later (this was the free shipping over $35 offer). They had items I can’t find locally, so this was great. I’d definitely buy from them again.
Inaccurate nutritional info
Over priced and unable to leave product reviews. Most recently, I've noticed nutritional details are not always available for items. Sometimes listed in the info tab, sometimes a picture. However, the info provided is not always accurate. I had to go to the product's original website (such as No Sugar Company) to get the total carbohydrate count.

I've ordered things about 6 times in my life from this site. Every time I have been happy with my purchase. You can use PayPal as well.
I would give -10 stars if I could. They are NOT worth the frustration.
I am adding a new review as I am completely done with this company. Rebecca McKillikan CEO has now taken this company to a point where many customers will walk. An equity firm now owns Well.ca and since then, they refuse to use couriers such as UPS (who would actually deliver the packages in a safe place). I specifically asked that they note on my account not to use Dragonfly, as packages don't make it, or are left purposely outside where they can be destroyed or stolen. Today they made a decision to use Dragonfly, and refuse to change it, citing "this is out of our hands now." They do not care, period. Their sale prices are what most retailers charge normally. If I could leave -10 stars I would. They will regret their cheap decisions and lose more and more customers, until they shake their heads wondering what happened. If you have zero respect for your customers, and it is all about the money, you will fail.
Zero Stars Not accessible & do not honour sale prices
I started shopping here in 2019 when they shipped exclusively with Canada Post and offered larger sizes of products I could not find elsewhere( Castille soap). First the 4Litre product when away, then the "free" sample amount to spend went up. The prices stopped being competitive. Then they stopped shipping with Canada Post( I use the disability accommodation program through them and ask all companies to accommodate my disability and ship with Canada Post).
I slowed down shopping there and for the past 2 years have been repeatedly e-mailing and calling for them to honour my disability accommodation. I spent hours on phone to couriers to get them to re deliver as I could not pick up.
I started shopping at a more affordable Canadian competitor. Last week I received a sale notification from Well.ca for 100 serving BIOSteel for $62.99 down from $89.99. I placed an order. It did not ship, 5 days later on the last day of the sale I got an email stating the Bio steel was out of stock and they had automatically refunded it. They would not substitute for another flavour. The website claimed the product was in stock and still does.
They do not honour major sale prices, shipping is slow, not within time frame listed on website, no customer communication on out of stock products. They do not accommodate people with disabilities. They have a sliding scale starting at $85 orders for "free" samples, yet they offer free shipping on $35 orders.
Still waiting for them to close my account as I cannot even delete my account or my information without them.

I am all about supporting local online retailers but well.ca is not it. They have sent me several products that are either expired or have issues (ingredient or quality issues) and they fail to send a free return label and it is always an argument with them when trying to return an item or get a refund for defective products or an item that is not as advertised. There are many other online retailers that are better to support I will no longer be buying from well.ca. Recently I purchased a tea and the bags contained microplastics which I later found out after purchasing, They gave me such a hard time just requesting a return label I was not being difficult I was willing to return the goods in new condition. If you don't want a headache do not waste your time shopping here. There are many other online stores that value their customers especially when it comes to issues concerning the health and safety of products. nationalnutrition is one of them there are many local online retailers that actually are about their customers. I had to open a paypal dispute which was a huge waste of my time to force them to refund me for a defective product. Unreal. It was to the point where prior to opening a dispute I also called customer support- their reps are beyond unprofessional and rude as well. They also lie, I was told I was sent a return label via email and I was in fact not sent anything. You lost me as a customer.
Terrible shipping
Terrible shipping. Uses the cheapest courier who takes weeks to get your order. Delivery dates keep changing. Well says to just return to sender, zero resolutions and just says they can’t help with this
Poorly managed company
Used to much better. I used to be a regular customer, but rarely order from the site now. Prices are no longer competitive, service is very slow and their shipping times do not reflect what is shown on the website. I used to get a reply within 1-2 days and now it's almost a week and I always have to follow up. The last two times I have placed orders haven't shipped until 3+ business days. Do better.
Great service and very happy
My order was on time, correct and as described, and came in perfect condition. The price was decent and average for the item. The delivery was great. The courier took the time to contact me and make sure I got my order which I really appreciate when I've lost packages to theft using other services in the past. I was grateful for the care and consideration. They were also very friendly.
Good prices, fast shipping
Fast shipping, good prices. Only once had an issue where they sent me the wrong items. Customer service was fast at resolving the issue
Catastrophic support service
I used to order from well.ca as their prices are fair but be warned if you don't like a product or enter anything on the shipping wrong mistakenly you will be stuck with the costs. They do not accept cancelations even right after you've made the order. They also do not allow order redirection. It's too bad but unfortunately the only companies you can count on now a days is amazon and iherb. I will not be ordering from well.ca in the future. The support service is a catastrophe!!

They never listed the product had Polysorbert 80. Then I wanted to buy Xylitol and they only sell a few kinds. Ingredients: pure xylitol

Shipping this year, I ordered a shampoo and it came broken in a plastic bag. I opened it and a chunk of the plastic was broken off and not it the bag. They broke the shampoo there and just put it in a bag and mailed it to me... I took a picture and did email customer service and they did refund my money.
Sad to say, with all the new crappie products and lack of listing Ingredients and then coming here and seeing all the recent comments 😕 probably done with Well.ca

Bad service with defective products
If there are no issues they are a 5/5, but they handle defective products poorly, the customer care person I dealt with was very condescending and completely ignored my concerns.

Most of the time I had great services and if there is a problem they are quick to resolve. In one of my last order was one of the worst packed order I ever receive ! It's like they didn't even try or I don't know, they wanted to put their frustration into it. I see here that it seems to be a common issue.
I don't know if it's because of Black Friday, holiday season that they feel more pressure to go fast even if that means a poor job or the people who packed at that time don't like vegan items but this does not look good on them.
Great selection
Great selection but I wish the order processing was faster. I usually put in an order before Christmas for some stocking stuffers and everyone always loves what they receive. Awesome place for clean and healthy products!

Ordered on Nov.15,2025.Notified that order was shipped and should arrive 5 days later (from Calgary)was sent an e-mail saying that there was a problem with the order. Nov 22 was sent an e-mail that order was damaged and Well.Can would contact us in a day or two.I phoned them today Nov. 26 and they said that they were waiting to receive the damaged order in Calgary and then reship the order!!!! Why wait?????? TERRIBLE customer service!!!!! No more Well.ca for us
