Our intention is always to ensure travellers feel fully prepared and supported, and it’s disappointing to learn that we fell short for you on this occasion. Your comments about tour details, internal flights, and luggage allowances have been shared with our team so we can review how this information is communicated before travel. This information should all be in the travel documentation that will have been sent to you on email and via your travel agent.

Although we aren’t able to reach out to you directly while you’re already travelling, we genuinely hope everything has gone smoothly once your tour began and that the experience has been enjoyable despite the initial uncertainty.

While we’re pleased to hear you enjoyed your time in Cambodia and on the Mekong cruise, we fully understand how disappointing the issues in Vietnam were — particularly the lack of consultation, the hotel arrangements, and the communication difficulties you experienced.

In situations involving a force of nature, such as severe weather, we often have to act at speed to secure alternative arrangements. These events can affect an entire area and create immediate pressure on availability, meaning that waiting to consult can result in no viable options remaining. That said, we appreciate how important clear communication is during these moments, and we are sorry that this fell short for you.

As you have been in regular contact with our Customer Care team throughout this matter, and based on our most recent correspondence, we understood the situation to be resolved as the solution we provided was accepted.
