Its taken me sometime to get round to this review, I ordered 3 new bikes with Westbrook cycles so quite a lot of money spent with them, we were planning a family touring trip in Scotland with these new BERGAMONT VITESS N8 Belt-Driven Hybrid Bikes. When the first 2 bikes arrived one of them was clearly faulty, it wouldn't select gears properly and the wheel was buckled, so we contacted Westbrook cycles to resolve this issue and it was clear to me from the very start they had no interest in resolving this problem. All they wanted me to do was to take it to another bike shop and pay for it myself and then try and claim the money from them later which I refused to do, I lost count of how many phones calls and Emails I made to them to get this issue resolved, I even compromised telling them if this bike is returned I would order a more expensive one to replace it, but it still has taken weeks to sort out, luckily this one bike we ordered was on finance so the finance company finally stepped in and refunded me my 50% deposit and my first monthly payment.

Fantastic buying experience. Couldn’t be happier with the customer service and bike delivery. Middlesbrough is a long way from home, but can’t see my family buying from anywhere else. Just goes to show some of the stories us southerners hear aren’t true!!😊Merry Christmas all, safe 2021.

Looking to buy a fork whilst renovating an old Trek Navigator, Google pulled me into Westbrook Cycles website. They appear to have plenty of forks available and in stock, wondering how the hell they actually sell any. ZERO technical data on ANY of the fork's web pages.
....update: After contacting them by email for data on some forks, i was told there isnt any data and was asked for the model of my bike. i gave the details and specifically said i was changing the headset and stem. They replied that they "had nothing for my headset and stem configuration".
It seems Westbrook Cycles are great at sales avoidance!

Just had recent dealings with Westbrook cycles after my local bike shop were to busy (Hargreaves cycles Dewsbury) despite years of custom. Anyhow having a bike frame repaired a fibre lite just around the corner I decided t give these guys a go and I wasn’t disappointed. They have now sorted issue for me on 5 bikes. The repair shop team were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and did a fab job promptly too. Well done guys you have won me over and the 60 mile trip is worth it. Kev

I was lucky enough to find a Kask Infinity helmet that was in short supply and reasonably priced. Delivery was quick.

We were recently on holiday when my wifes chain snapped. Westbrooks went out of their way to help despite moving premises. Service could not of been better and the quality of work was excellent. Thanks guys!

All went well until after a few weeks of owning I had serious problem with bike. Clearly a warranty issue but James at Westbrook wanted none of it and kept palming me off. Let down by bad customer service in the end!

Bike as good as it looks on their website. I purchased a bike for my Wife on 14th May, bike arrived on 8th June. 5 stars for the bike but only 3 stars for delivery.

I wasn’t aware of this company until recently but they have been absolutely brilliant. We’d tried some of the “bigger” names initially and they had no availability on bikes. Another company just emailed and said they’d got their stock wrong and couldn’t supply - still haven’t heard from them since. Westbrook got us 2 Bikes delivered within days and we have 2 very happy boys. Great pricing, service, delivery. All good.

TL;DR - price matched a bike for me, honest with delivery during current situation and helped me over the phone when assembling parts.

Stumbled across this company when searching for a new Giant Propel bike. Found their website and asked for a price match. It was quick and easy and the customer service team were polite. They price matched the bike for me and returned my email within a day. They asked what size I needed and ran a stock check out of hours for me - hugely appreciated.

I purchased through their site using PayPal and had no issues. The delivery was slightly delayed but this was due to Giant and the current pandemic we are in, can’t blame Westbrook for that.

Bike arrived via DPD and came in excellent condition, well packaged and pretty much assembled. I know my way around bikes to an extent but there were parts which confused me as Giant do send a lot. I sent an email to customer service and they had a bike mechanic ring me, all in the same day. Chris went through the parts I didn’t understand and helped me to find the parts I needed and how to install them. For reference, the extra parts were related to whether I needed to install Shimano Di2’s. You really wouldn’t get this type of service from a lot of independent bike stores and I’d definitely recommend and will return when I can afford another bike. Thanks team.

Great Service and very knowledgable with products, ordered quite a few things from them, only had one missing item in one order but they sent the missing item out next day, cant ask for more.

Top class service with delivery through DPD provided with additional delivery options as I wasn’t going to be on the first delivery day although no leave in safe place (happy about that as it was a Power Meter) - Very Happy with Ultegra Power Meter

I ordered a Cannondale Synapse from Westbrook, but changed my mind when I received the bike. I returned the bike (never assembled and still in its box) and received a full refund from Westbrook. They didn't even ask me to pay their original shipping costs. Absolutely fantastic service. Thank you Westbrook Cycles!

I've been using Westbrook for ages, over 15 years for all my biking needs. I have always found them polite and helpful and nothing is a problem for them. All the team are very knowledgeable and show interest in their customers.

Dissapointed At first cause they send me wrong bike size.

They offer me more expensive model at better price, very happy with this.

Big thx to Westbrookcycles for the new model... i think its hard to find it cause low availability at this period..

Please be careful before buy from online shop.. i have seen this at other sites... some times they dont synchronise the details (sizes -quantities etc) .. send an email or phone them to confirm the product is ok.

I feel bad cause i wait so many days until receive my bike... lose the good days and scheduled trainings.. today is snowing :D
