Ich bin seit ca. 50 Jahren Kunde bei Wiglo.
Damals waren die noch in Bockenem.
Grund für diese langjährige Treue:
Unschlagbare Preise, besonders bei Wurst, Aufschnitt und bei Gartenartikeln.
Hervorragend war immer die Currywurst mit der exzellenten Soße. Unübertroffen im gesamten Harzumfeld.
Seit ca . 2 Jahren bekommt dieses Image jedoch mehr und mehr Risse.
Vermutlich hängt das auch mit dem Wechsel der Marktleitung in Jerstedt zusammen.
Seitdem der blonde Chef in Rente ist, geht es mit dem Markt rapide bergab.
Gründe:
Die Preise sind rasant gestiegen und liegen meist über dem Niveau der anderen Discounter.
Gravierender aber ist, daß immer mehr Leistungen abgebaut werden.
Die Pommes Frites Bude, die immer sehr beliebt war, ist nur noch sporadisch geöffnet.
Die Gartenabteilung ist geschlossen. Stattdessen gibt es Blumenregale im Eingangsbereich.
Die Gemüse- und Obstabwicklung, die z.T. außerordentlich gute Angebote hatte (zB. Kartoffeln, Spargel und Äpfel, die es nirgendwo günstiger gab!) , wurde geschlossen.
Fazit:
Der Markt befindet sich im"Sturzflug".
Es ist absehbar, daß er über kurz oder lang geschlossen wird,da die Kunden ausbleiben.
Haben wir früher wegen der preisgünstigen Angebote in der Regel wöchentlich mindestens 1x die fast 40 km Anfahrt auf uns genommen, so hat sich das auf höchstens einen Besuch pro Monat reduziert.
Ich denke, Wiglos Tage in Jerstedt sind gezählt.
Er wird sehr wahrscheinlich in absehbarer Zeit Konkurs anmelden müssen, wie schon Wiglo in BS -Broitzem vor ca. 2 Jahren.
Schade drum.
Ein Highlight der Region weniger.

Poor product and poorer customer service

Tried to utilize this program to assist with working on reviewing skills with my older dog who is already pretty well trained (knows basic commands well). Wanted to work more on off leash training mainly. Program is not very interactive and doesn't really give more than just plain old common sense...if I wanted that I wouldn't have paid for it and would;ve used the money to get an in person trainer. Also, their cancellation policy and ability to contact customer service is a bit archeic for this day and age - emailing and not getting a response for a week, plus not being notified when susbscription renewals are coming up. Do not waste your money and get an in person trainer even if using for buffing up on skills.

SCAM (update) for 1/15/24

In my previous review the company responded saying they returned my funds. This is a direct lie. I have an open dispute with my credit card company which they have yet to respond to.

Don't sign up for anything with this company. Small businesses should be the quickest to react to issues not the slowest..

Terrible Customer Service, Possible Scam

We purchased the one year program, but then had no further use for it. One year afterwards, we were hit with the automatic 1 year charge of $119.88. Went to their website to ask for a refund and cancel subscription, Wiglo said we did not have a user name and there was no account with our email. So couldn't even cancel. There is no phone number for these people, so they were emailed. They canceled the subscription, but completely ignored any attempt to discuss a refund. We don't have the dogs, and I requested a refund the exact same day the charge went through - clearly with in the 14 days as stated on their website. After two days of being ignored, I am writing this review in order to get attention and get a refund, as it seems to have worked for other reviews here. Be very careful with this company, they are more than willing to collect money once people no longer want their service - which is very poor customer service at best and kind of scammy at worst.

Again - Wiglo - please reach out!

Edit - Once this review was written, the refund was offered within one hour. No communication was received prior to review. Upgrading to three stars due to my issue being resolved.

Very poor customer service. Refused to refund my money after charging me for a second year of their garbage program!

Very poor customer service! Program is a waste of time and money! Just a bunch of written instructions to read and attempt to follow. No videos or demonstrations of techniques. A year and a half ago I had a new dog with separation anxiety issues. I thought this program would help. They wanted me to shut myself in the bathroom with the dog for 30min then try to leave without the dog following. Keep repeating daily till it works. Seriously?? I wasn't expecting instant results, I know training takes time, so I went ahead and got the 1 year plan to save money. It was a waste, but I figured lesson learned. A year later a $119 charge hits my bank account with no warning. I immediately called Wiglo, who refused to refund my money. I had the charge reversed by Shazam as fraud, but Wiglo had the audacity to fight it and get the charge reinstated. I reached out to them again by email (they don't have a phone number to talk to a live person) . They are ignoring me now. I just want my money back!!

Easy to follow programs, big difference!

Easy to follow training program you can complete at your own pace. The lessons are easily digestible, small amounts of information delivered at a time and they build upon previous lessons. We would review a lesson each morning and apply the trainings throughout the day. Some days we repeated trainings from the previous day if our beagle didn't seem to grasp the concept. After just a week of focused training we noticed our dog was much more responsive to our cues and calmer on walks! Love how simple the programs were to follow!!

I was expecting much more

I think that the course contains really good material, but since it is a text-based course, the information is not accessible it needs video, examples, pictures etc. I was expecting much more.

Training is not all that helpful

Training is not all that helpful. Pretty basic and time gated. Make sure to cancel your annual subscription if you have it. They don't send reminders and will not refund.

We're a small team, however, continuously improving our training programs. As of now, we're working on launching an app that would be way more interactive, which should make the training more fun and easier to go through.

The thing is, the theory of training isn't as complicated, rather basic. The secret to success is being consistent with the training. That's our main mission, to help you stay on track.

Regarding the time gate, may I ask which programs were gated? We removed the time gate a few months back at least.

Discriminated me for disability I have…

Discriminated me for disability I have that causes me to have reading issues, difficulties understanding lengthy explanations in text. They do not let previews. Thought there were videos with it. Don't want to refund me and ignored me when I explained it was difficult for me to understand and use. Lack of accessibility.

I felt discriminated when I was told no refund and I explained in my second email why and did not get any answer for 15 days. If you have replied sooner I would not have felt discriminated. You now refunded me after posting this review.

I’d like to inform, that we’ve issued a full refund for you. I’m sorry if you felt discriminated due to our text-based content, but we would never do it intentionally.

Just to clarify, we don’t advertise that we have video content, and we will look through our website to figure out what made you think that there are video lessons.

Also, we’re currently working on a brand new app that will be more interactive, and engaging so it should be easier to use Wiglo in the near future for people of different learning preferences. We’re a small team continuously working on improving our service, and keeping up with the expectations.

Instead of a content preview, we have a ‘’no questions asked’ 14-day refund policy. Everyone can try it out for up to two weeks and request a refund if it’s not as expected.

I’m sorry again for any inconvenience, and I hope you’ll give Wiglo a 2nd chance after we launch our new app.

Room for improvement, but an incredible, well-thoughtout, clearly cared for product.

They really go above and beyond.
The customer service is great, the planning checklist, the way the individual plan is laid out, it's all very bite sized and I find it as a first-time dog owner, really easy to understand as I go. It does what you need to do: go slow. They clearly understand what it takes to train your dog, they make it easy for the dog owners to be able to get to the basic roots of how to communicate and build a relationship with your dog. Their layout and interaction for each plan is very well managed, and although i see room for improvement in the way this could be integrated into a better dashboard, I think for now, this is an incredible product that I can't wait to see where it goes.

Best Socialization Check List

They have a huge socialization checklist of things to do with a new puppy that I LOVE!! It breaks it down simply with reasoning behind each thing.

Also started the crate training one which is the course that convinced me to try Wiglo. It's been a week and although he's still anxious in the crate when we are not in the room, he can now sleep in it all night!!

This is a great site

This is a great site. You can train at your own pace. The training didnt fit my needs. The response from the team is excellent I am not sure how they respond so fast. They actually work with you as an individual. They are making more advanced trainings so I will keep them in mind in the future. Honest company.

Non- Overwhelming Training!

I really liked Wiglo. Training a dog can be overwhelming, but they break it down day by day. The lessons were easy to understand for me and my dog. I learned a lot about why my dog acts certain ways in situations and how to help that. I would recommend Wiglo to anyone who wants to train on their own time and have constant support. Plus, the price can't be beat!

I saw significant progress with my dog

I saw significant progress with my dog, within weeks of starting the program. We are down to just walking behavior now.
The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful
I would highly recommend this product.

We're both learning!

Wiglo has been a great tool in teaching my 7 month old rescue. They go over every command you could want to teach and has given some really helpful insight as an owner. Would definitely recommend, only wish they had reminders to keep training!

Unimpressed

Program moves too slow & doesn’t allow for you to go at your own pace if you need to. It locks you out of subsequent steps until a future date. I’ve had a much better experience with the free app Pupford. Very disappointed with this one.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback! After thinking it through, we've decided to remove the 'drip' feature so now all programs are fully available from the first day of the membership.

This feature was set with good intentions, so dog parents would go step by step instead of skimming through and not doing the actual training. However, as you've mentioned, some dogs are more advanced and this way the training moves too slow.

As our main and only goal is to empower dog parents with the knowledge to train their fur-babies, we always listen to our client's feedback and make changes accordingly.

Wiglow was excellent in starting off Phoebe's trainingme…

Wiglow was excellent in getting me started with my puppy. I worked full time and take her to work with me so conventional dog training classes just didn't fit my schedule. Wiglow I was able to use at my own pace and convenience.

So far, so good!

I've been training our high-energy terrier mix rescue since she came home 1/26. I've done it mostly on my own with lots of YouTube videos and a Dog 101 class, and she's made AMAZING progress.

Now, I've felt a bit stalled. She's still play-biting my partner; leash-pulling at night; jumping on people; scavenging (which, in downtown New Orleans, is both gross and dangerous). What I really needed was some direction, some actionable steps, and some guidance without breaking the bank. I mean, professional r+ dog training is totally worth it, but adopting a new dog and getting all the preventives and toys and supplies is really expensive.

Enter Wiglo (through and ad on IG, since it was spying on my searches lol)! So far, it's been very helpful. Rather than weighing the advice/info of 4 different trainers on YouTube who I can't ask questions of and guessing on the best course of action, I can follow this program AND have access to a professional trainer.

I also like that I can have several courses going at once as we're addressing multiple areas simultaneously and work at my own pace and take as long as we need on some items and skip the ones that we have down already.

I feel less pressure now that I have a roadmap and can ask questions. Definitely recommend!

First time dog owner, I love Wiglo! Best training program ever!

I love Wiglo! This is my first time owning a dog and their training makes me feel like an expert! Once you sign up, you get immediate access to the lessons. I read them ahead of my puppy arrival and did the roadmap quiz. Sarah, the online trainer, is so responsive! She always gets back to me within 24-48 hours and her responses are always very detailed.

My puppy is 3 months and is a German Shepherd mix. Our first night together was AMAZING!!! She stayed in the crate with the door closed!!!! No accidents at night. The first 2 days of potty training were difficult for her. I only had her for 4 days now and she is almost completely potty trained. All her accidents in the last two days were because I took too long to realize when she need to pee.

That's why I love Wiglo! Wiglo taught me how to observe her and understand her cues. I love how I can go at my own pace because there are some things she picks up quickly, while other things take time and I need to be patient. My family meet her on her third day and they were amaze at how calm and quiet she is.

I got the yearly subscription and I am glad I did! I love having the options to got back to a previous lesson to refresh myself so I can be the best dog mom to my pup.
