Same as everybody else. Wish I had read the reviews first. Pair of sandals delivered today and looked okay until you try to put them on. Velcro straps impossible to reach to attach where they should go. Still waiting for dress that was ordered before the shoes with not much hope that it will be wearable.

I want to share my experience as a warning to other customers who may be considering purchasing from this company.

I recently ordered two pairs of shorts advertised as high‑quality items with a substantial discount. What I received was completely different from what was shown online: the colours were wrong, the fabric was incorrect, and neither item had any manufacturer labels or tags. The quality was far below what the website claimed, and certainly nowhere near the “original price” they advertised.

The most concerning issue, however, is the return process. The company promotes a “full refund if you’re not completely happy,” but what they do not disclose upfront is that returns must be shipped internationally at the customer’s expense — typically $30–$50 USD per item. This makes their refund policy practically unusable and places customers at a significant disadvantage.

Instead of honouring their stated policy, the company repeatedly pushed partial refunds, cashback offers, and store credit, while discouraging a legitimate return. Only after multiple attempts did they offer a resolution that did not require me to pay international shipping fees.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise other consumers to exercise caution when dealing with this business. Product descriptions, pricing claims, and return policies are not clearly or honestly represented, and the process for resolving issues is far more difficult than their website suggests.

I hope this helps others make an informed decision before purchasing.

If there was a minus star, I would give it; they don’t deserve one star.

Do not order from this company. Quality is poor, delivery is slow, garment I ordered didn’t drape/look like on the website. And the refund policy - if you could call it that - is ridiculous. You can either pay $40-$50 to courier the items back to China (which is basically the same price as the garment again); or they offer a 15% refund ie a whole £6.70 on a £44 dress thus ‘saving you the hassle’ of returning the item. What is even more ridiculous is that they offer to send you a replacement dress without having to return the original??

This is a scandal and they should not be trading.

I bought a dress to wear for a friend wedding, I started planning early so had plenty of time. Delivery took 2 weeks and 3 day when the dress arrived cheap quality fabric, thread loose all over, smelling and do not fit. I emailed and they refused return and said I will have to return to original country which is China. This company is a scam do not buy from them they are not better than Temu or shine.

Ordered pair of shorts men’s large 34inch waist picture and description looked promising. Delivery not particularly quick but loads of emails saying in transit. Item received and the product in the packs only resemblance to what I thought was ordering is the colour, thin and probably has a waist of 28 inches so wrong size as well. No worries the site states simple and easy return except no return details on the site other than send them an email and they will get back to you in 24 hours. 4 days later still waiting for an email response but still receiving their email marketing. Don’t waste your time or money people dealing with this company is an absolute waste of both. I’ll probably give them to a charity shop might do a child a good deal before they fall apart

The "guaranteed 30 day refund" is untrue. The clothes I received were too big so I asked to return for a refund which is "simple and stress free" according to the website - it is anything but! The website suggests they are London based but a refund involved international shipping so that is clearly untrue. I was eventually offered 40% refund and keep clothes that don't fit! Avoid this company like the plague!

I wish I had read the reviews first. I ordered what looked like a stunning dress for my daughter's wedding. It's awful, cheap material, badly finished. I'm now desperately trying to find something that doesn't look like it was put together with old net curtains. The photos and the quality do not match up.

Total scammers, please don’t order from them, they say offer easy returns, they offered me 10% of what I paid as a refund, they are thieves

Avoid avoid avod. Why does trust pilot give this scam outfit two stars when everyone is giving one or lowers. Total scam. Ordered leather shoes. Plastic smelly ones came with no size or make on and far too big Of course I should have known better. I won’t be able to pay to return them o China. My bad

Ordered a pair of shoes from this company. A week later, they emailed me saying my size was out of stock. It has now been over a month, and they still not refunded my money. Customer service just search for an information . Total scam company, avoid at all costs!

I wanted to give Zero, but the minimum is one. Please, please I beg everyone to read reviews before buying from this company. The photos of the clothes in the website have nothing to do with what you will receive. I bought what I thought were linen dresses and shirts and they were polyester. I also bought what I thought was a leather sandal and it was nothing but plastic. The only good thing to be fair is that they refunded my money before I returned their goods back, which I did.

Really poor quality material with loose threads and badly sown hems on both pairs of trousers purchased. Really really disappointed with what I purchased. The clothes do not look like the pictures on the website.

If there were minus stars I would have rated them -100 - I so should have looked on here first- they promise free easy hassle free returns- they promise contact within 24 hours of you contacting them , 9 days for me to get a response then told $30-$50 dollars for me to return- how are these people allowed to operate?? They are a complete scam - I purchased from Instagram- never again 😡😡😡😡 quality is appalling

THEY CHARGE £39.95 original price they have advertised at £99.95 for shorts that look like they are from primark £5 please do not buy from this company they are giving London shops a bad name l have raised concerns to my bank as l paid with a credit card and bank will step in if l have no luck

Your repeated reliance on your internal policy, rather than addressing my statutory rights, is disappointing. I have made my position clear from the outset, yet your responses continue to rely on standard wording instead of engaging with the substance of my complaint.

Unless you now confirm that my cancellation will be honoured and that I will receive a full refund in accordance with my legal rights, I will have no alternative but to escalate this matter. This may include reporting the matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities, pursuing recovery of the funds through my payment provider where appropriate, and publicly sharing a factual account of my experience to assist other consumers in making informed purchasing decisions.

I remain willing to resolve this matter amicably, but I require your written confirmation that my statutory rights will be respected and that this dispute will be concluded without further delay.

Omg what a joke this company is.
Don’t order anything from them. The quality is poor. They seem to dodge any way of returning the poor quality rubbish they send out.
I am going to report them to the consumer council as this is not acceptable. Do not order from Wilson and Carter unless you have money to burn.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. Do not use this company. They are a disgrace, I have not received my order, they have stopped replying to my emails, I have lost my money.

Wilson& Carter - London has a website that promises 'free, fast shipping, reliable delivery with no hidden fees'
plus 'easy hassle free Returns. My experience tells me otherwise. After waiting for three weeks for my order to arrive I tried to cancel it to save a delivery of sandals that I no longer required as they were arriving too late. This proved impossible and led to a string of emails between me and customer services that were anything but satisfactory. I am still trying to return this parcel but they are being obstructive as I try to arrange a return, and discover the parcel comes from an overseas supplier - hence delayed arrival, and I am told the return cost to me will be between $30-$50 per item. So anything but 'fast free delivery' and 'hassle free returns'. The items on website look appealing but the delivery and service are abysmal. I will never buy from this company again nor recommend it

All the quality is below zero I have sent numerous emails which they did not respond for days .
I needed to return an item that was not up to standard the material was cheap a nasty and not finished properly with cotton hanging everywhere .They then offered me 10% of the price of the dress .
It states they have a easy returns what a joke
These people are advertising themselves as if they re in London

If I could give zero stars to this company I would. I waited approximately three weeks to receive my shoes which were THE most terrible quality, did not come in a box and were squashed. Stitching on the top of the shoes are crooked. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
