Buyer beware: awful customer service

Buyer beware: if you order a high-end tennis racket to be pre-strung from the factory, it will not arrive pre-strung and Wilson's customer service team will not do a thing to make the situation right. I paid to have my Clash 100 V3 pre-strung with NXT string from the factory, but I was shipped an unstrung frame; there weren't even strings in the box. On the phone, Jose Carlos on Wilson's customer service team agreed to issue me a refund for the strings I did not receive, plus a refund for the cost of labor to get my new racket strung locally. Then, over email, he recanted and told me my only two options were: 1. A refund of $24 for the strings I did not receive; or 2. Return the unstrung racket I received and then place a new order on wilson.com, and cross my fingers that the second racket actually shows up pre-strung. I suggested an alternative solution of Jose placing a rush order for a new pre-strung racket to be overnighted to me; of course, the answer was "no." I took my new racket to a local stringer, paid $25 in labor to have it strung, then shared the receipt with Jose and asked that he refund me a total of $49 ($25 for the labor cost that should have been handled at the Wilson factory and $24 for the strings I did not receive). After threatening to initiate a dispute with my credit card company, Jose gave me a total refund of $30 to make me go away. Is the cost of having my racket strung locally going to break the bank? Of course not. But when a huge, well-established global brand like Wilson makes a very obvious fulfillment error and then chooses to do battle with its customers instead of putting in some effort to rectify the mistake, it deserves to be called out publicly. It would have cost Wilson $25 to keep this customer happy and excited to play his new racket; instead, they chose to be rigid and unhelpful, and now they've lost a customer. I will now go out of my way to purchase products from Wilson's competitors in the future. Their handling of this situation is especially absurd when you consider the resources at Wilson's disposal: they're owned by a huge sporting goods conglomerate (Amer Sports), who is in turn owned by an even larger sporting goods conglomerate (Anta Sports).

What was advertised as a "stainless steel towel rack" turned out to be a very flimsy aluminium rack. It cost $50.95 then I bought a real stainless steel towel rack for $20. Trying to get a return slip is like getting blood out of a stone. Bunnings has been no help even though it's advertised on the Bunnings online sites. I'm very disappointed and I would never buy from Bunnings online again and would certainly not have anything to do with Wilson Imports

Ho acquistato una polo Wilson come regalo. Dopo un solo utilizzo e un solo lavaggio, effettuato seguendo scrupolosamente le istruzioni e lavando il capo separatamente, sono comparse numerose macchie.
Portata in lavanderia, mi è stato confermato che si trattava di un difetto del tessuto: il colore blu ha scaricato sul resto della maglia, rendendola irrecuperabile. Dopo un ulteriore lavaggio a mano sono comparse altre macchie, a conferma del problema di fabbricazione.Ho contattato l’assistenza clienti fornendo foto, numero d’ordine e spiegazioni dettagliate, ma la risposta è stata che si trattava di “normale usura”, cosa assolutamente inaccettabile per un capo praticamente nuovo e di questa fascia di prezzo.

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience with Wilson

My experience with Wilson has been negative from the very beginning. After purchasing two tennis rackets on November 5 during a promotion, one racket was canceled, which caused me to lose the applied discount. Since the racket was intended as a Christmas gift, I was forced to repurchase another one, which arrived after Christmas.

The second issue occurred when a promo code provided by customer support simply did not work on a later purchase.

The third and most serious issue happened in-store: a sales associate refused to exchange a brand-new, unopened racket without checking my order, purchase date, or return policy, and behaved in an unprofessional and confrontational manner. It felt as though I was being pushed out of the store.

Missing part of order-refusing to send

I ordered a Nuggets basketball for Christmas and it was supposed to come with a pump but it was never sent. Been emailing since last week and they can’t seem to figure out how to send a cheap pump so he can’t actually use the ball. I was told it was shipped and then today it said they are still working on it? Can’t be this hard but judging by all the other reviews this is standard. I will never buy from Wilson again.

Incompetence

I had included my suite number in my order. Wilson did not include this information in my shipping label, and now my son's Christmas present is lost as it never ended up being delivered to my office and the package is 'missing', i.e. stolen. Useless.

Shop somewhere else that cares, even if you pay more.

Unbelievable

Unbelievable! We purchased a tennis racket for a: "ROLAND GARROS TRIUMPH 2" Standard adult size tennis racket.

They shipped out an "extended size tennis racket" instead.

I then looked on the product listing page and they are combing 3 different product descriptions in one.

I've shared screenshots of these issues and asked for them to collect the wrong item and ship a new item, but they stated this wouldn't be possible and that we should instead visit a drop off point to return it.

We live 40 min away form their nearest drop off point.

How insane is it that they ship out wrong items and are then unable to arrange a pickup???

Wish i had read the reviews before buying

I wish I had read the reviews here before buying from au.wilson.com.
I thought that as an official tennis retailer, I would not have issues.
But like many other reviewers here, I have not received my order and it's been over 2 weeks.

Trust, I won't be shopping here again, and I probably will NOT be using a Wilson brand racquet from now on. The worst brand ever.

I will also be reporting their unreliable behaviours to ACCC and Fair Trading.

Terrible service at Wilson

Customer service is terrible--won't return a custom club but also can't find it to send it--When asking Wilson what's up the response is it will be there is a few days-- said that 3 times -been waiting 3 weeks so far--had enough of their stories so I contacted my bank to refund my purchase--

I feel that Malaysia Wilson is being…

I feel that Malaysia Wilson is being dishonest with customers on Lazada and Shopee. They keep failing to ship out orders, which makes me suspect that either they have no stock, or they simply don’t want to honor the promotional prices. Orders are repeatedly cancelled, and then the same products are listed again at higher prices.

There is absolutely no accountability in handling customer issues – even the customer service department reads messages without replying. This is very disappointing and unprofessional.

Inventory mess

For the second time In the same month that I ordered a tennis dress on Wilson's website that was available for purchase and became unavailable after payment for the item forcing me to cancel the order. What inventory and logistics disorganization is this? It's unbelievable

It was a very Bad Bad Bad experience…

It was a very Bad Bad Bad experience with Wilson.com customer service ever than any other company website. My husband was ordered two tennis rackets for my birthday. Their website was misleading with the descriptions of how great is the rackets. Unfortunately, it was not a good quality rackets to play with. When I was requesting return that they said that I could not return because I have been used once. Even within the 30 days return time frame. They told me that I have to pay for the shipping even Wilson.con stated free return within 30 days of receiving the package. It seems like Wilson.com customer service does not follow the company policy and forcing the customer to keep their poor products for doing a very poor business. I am not ever purchase from Wilson.com anymore further for sure. I also will write a letter about this matters to the Business Bureau against Wilson.com doing unacceptable business.
