Ist nicht das Original! Finger weg, sofort löschen, nichts anklicken, sonst kommt es schnell zu einem teuren Jahresabo

Von meinem Paypalkonto wurden am 19.2.26 37,99€ abgezogen für ein Abo bei windy.com, das ich nie bestellt hatte.

Ich hatte anfangs Februar die "kostenlose" windyApp getestet, wobei die Emailadresse angegeben werden musste, um die Wetterdaten anzuzeigen. Die Emailadresse ist ja kein Geheimnis, also gab ich sie ein. Die App deinstallierte ich nach kurzen Test wieder und bestellte auf keinen Fall ein Abo.
Ohne weitere Benachrichtigung wurde heute der obige Betrag von meinem Konto abgezogen. GooglePay war der Vermittler.

Nachdem ich mich schriftlich bei Paypal beschwerte, da ich ja keine Überweisung freigegeben hatte und trotzdem gezahlt wurde, schrieben die,dass von ihrer Seite alles in Ordnung ist und ich mich an den Verkäufer wenden muss. Warum die Transaktion ohne Rückfrage ausgeführt wurde erklärten sie mir nicht.
Auffällig ist, dass kurz nach dem Test der App von Paypal eine Änderung des Passworts verlangt wurde, die ich auch durchführte. Ich nutze Paypal seit mehr als 10 Jahren und in dieser Zeit wurde nie eine Passwortänderung verlangt.

Die Vertreiberfirma der App, die in Prag in irgendeinem Hinterzimmer eingetragen ist, scheffelt endlos Geld. Bei mehr als 50 Millionen Downloads holen sie sich 2 Milliarden von ahnungslosen Testern der App. Diese Firma muss sich ein Netzwerk aufgebaut haben, in das womöglich auch Mitarbeiter von GooglePay und Paypal verwickelt sind.

SPAM! The developer keeps spamming its other projects (Mapy) in Windy, even to paying users. In the iOS app you cannot swipe it away; the only option is to tap it, which redirects you to the App Store.

Excellent wind forecasts for an ocean sail of 600 nm on the east coast of Australia (Coffs - Melb). Ability to select multiple forecast models, trip planning, ability to play the forecast over time. After the trip I accidentally paid for another year and Windy were kind and understanding in responding.

It have saved me in the mountains. Lifesaving application.

sono passati 5 giorni da quando ho pagato l'abbonamento premium ma a tutt'oggi non è stato ancora attivato. Ho scritto all'assistenza ma non ho avuto risposta da parte di Windy. Pessimo, sconsigliato.

Fraud – The 7-day free trial cannot be cancelled, and you are automatically charged for a full year with no option for a refund!!
Further more, weather forecast not better/more detailed than most other apps.

I was 3 days into the 7 free day trial and $359 was taken from my account not the $59.99 before I finished the 7 day free trial

Got to Pay to see the weather after a week on your site, after 7 days it all greys out, is this some kind of tease.. lol

Man kann im Ausland Windy Premium nicht nutzen weil es hier nicht zu aktivieren geht. Der Support taucht auch nichts weißt darauf hin das es Zuhause geht und das er nichts machen kann..

Na een jaar gebruik moet ik vast stellen dat de windy app voor 85% foute voorspellingen geeft.
Heb deze gebruikt om de wind,regen,golven,te bekijken in mijn rondvaart door Spanje.

It's complete garbage I wanted to try it out and it wasn't what was expected I payed 70 bucks and immediately wrote them back to refund me back and they refused to refund me.

Is not accurate. It’s just good visual that’s all. Would not reflect reality.

This app is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!
I recently purchased a sailboat and used windy to forecast the weather for Saturday sailing. It was SO WRONG every time!
I couldn't believe it. So, I paid for premium, assuming I'd get better information. NOPE! It was just as bad , it would be howling with wind outside and the app would continue to say 10 knots, and even the wind direction was totally off. I deleted the app but lost out on my money. Incredibly lousy forecasting! Does this actually work for anyone, I'm curious, because I tried and tested this thing for over a month, sailing every weekend. It was WRONG 100% OF THE TIME!

I like their many tools on site to check and track the worldwide weather and its parameters. The web page looks good also with fine graphics.

I made a premium account, but did not get a invoice to activate my account, i tried to make contact bud no response at all.

Not strange they have 2.5 stars rating.
I wish i had read the reviews before i pursued the premium account.

Windy app aviation forecasts no longer valid?
Though there is no available explanation (decode) for the symbols used in the Windy app aviation display, for a few months now the pictures provided below the Windy app METAR TAF facility no longer seem to bear much relation to actual met conditions in METARS for airports.
Windy app had previously been useful but is now just misleading.
What has changed, and how are the symbols decoded remain a mystery?

S L O W loading, since over a week ago. All other sites loading great as usual on fiber. Looked into forums and reviews and tried all solutions for my end. Tried lowering shields, in fact wasted a lot of time trying everything this old geek could think of! Just S L O W, I mean like go make a sandwich and come back slow. Besides this latest issue, Windy.com is quite often WRONG about what the current weather is actually doing...not just the forecast model, but real-time inaccuracies. In general, online weather has been the absolute shits since Intellicast.com sold out on us to Weather Underground. Date below is estimated, and currently ongoing.
