Awful service - rude and incompetent.

Waited a month for my wine, only for them to only deliver 1 bottle out of 6. They had never actually had 6 in stock.

After chasing them frequently by email, I got a partial refund with bitter and aggressive email responses.

Eventually, after a series of rude emails and a manager bad mouthing at me and hanging up, I got a full refund.

I placed an order 16 days ago, and part of it still hasn't shipped. I didn't get any notification of delays, and even when I reached out, the responses seemed like canned templates that didn't actually address my questions. Won't be ordering from them again.

I did receive part of my order, so I don't think the site is a scam.

This store has TERRIBLE customer service.

I ordered a personally significant bottle of wine as a gift for a friend, but after two weeks, it hadn't shipped. They asked me if I wanted to replace it with a different bottle of similar value, but because it was a sentimental bottle I was looking for, I asked for the order to be canceled. They assured me it would be.

Three weeks later, I got notification that the bottle had shipped. I contacted them, and they told me that I'd never requested cancelation nor refund, though I had an e-mail from their company. I forwarded them the e-mails days ago, and haven't heard back from them. This place is a scam.

Ordered a whiskey. Was sent a completely different whiskey, same name but different label. Doesn’t match what was advertised. Was only offered a price change or shipping refund. This place is a scam. Buyer beware

I do not recommend this company — based on their behavior, it is very likely a scam.

I ordered a few bottles of wine for a dinner party on October 6. After a week with no update or shipping confirmation, I emailed them asking when I could expect my order, since the dinner party was scheduled for October 16. They failed to provide any clear information, so I decided to cancel my order. Their customer service confirmed the cancellation in writing and stated that the refund would be processed within 5–7 business days.

A week later, I received an automated email claiming that my package had been shipped. I immediately contacted them again, but after several phone calls and emails, they kept changing their story — first claiming that they couldn’t stop the shipment, then saying they were unable to issue a refund through PayPal due to a “technical issue.” Later they offered to send me a check by mail, but despite multiple requests, they never provided a photo or tracking details of the check.

They continuously come up with new excuses for why they can’t complete my refund request. The package itself hasn’t moved at all — it was supposedly shipped on October 21, yet its tracking still shows it stuck at the origin.

I have reported the issue to my bank, which has opened an investigation and temporarily refunded the amount. However, the claim is still open on the bank’s side, suggesting that the company is not cooperating there either.

If you value your money and time, do not order anything from this company — they are unreliable and untrustworthy.

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would. It has been over a month since I ordered wine from this place. I contacted their customer service. All I get our various "The Dog ate my Homework" responses. They are a disgrace.

Quick and efficient

Good communication from Wine Chateau and delivering company about when to expect the delivery. Prompt shipment.

I found the customer service staff to be helpful and easy to work with. My order was processed and sent out for delivery as expected. An all-around pleasant transaction. I definitely would buy from them again.

The ordering process was easy, and the case of wine was delivered in a timely manner. The wine bottles were secured tightly. Also, with the Reserve Pass, I do not have to deal with shipping every time I order.

Couple of the corks had started coming out of the bottles. Wine still good!
