I paid for my order in full but never received the product. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, the issue was never properly resolved. This has been an extremely frustrating experience, and I feel completely let down as a customer. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing from this company.

Paid over $2000 for some wine racks 3 years ago. Not delivered. Chased company for hundreds of hours, also visited their fake distribution centre in south Auckland; and got a court judgment for them to pay my money back. Still haven’t paid. The owner Matthew is a criminal; he should be locked up. Do not buy from this company, they are a criminal organization. I reported them to commerce commission but they are also useless.

watch out for them, they are thieves. I bought more than year ago wine rack. Still do not have any product, any info, any redound !!

Paid for cubes in mid2023. Promise after promise and in the end we had to buy replacements from another company. Cancelled with winestash mid 2024 and have been pursuing a refund ever since. "Alvin" who answers all the emails promising to pay is presumably a chatbot. Have complained to Commerce Commission and cannot understand how such a blatant scam is still being allowed to trade

We purchased 18 cubes, some lattice some squares some diamonds. We made a wall in our dining room and painted them all white. They look amazing and are extremely functional. Limited only by your imagination.

I ordered Corner Wine cubes from Wine Stash on 7th March. Still have not been delivered by 20th August. I got the NSW Office of Fair Trading involved who confirmed many customers have problems with them and they believe the company is in trouble financially. I have given up ever receiving the product and requested a refund and they have ignored that request as well. They string you along with messages like "following up with the warehouse manager" but its always a stalling tactic. You have to bring legal pressure against them to have a hope of a refund. How Google allow this company to be listed in search results is a mystery. Please report them to Google if you have had a problem and we can get them blacklisted from search engines.

If I could leave zero I would. Ordered in Feb. No stock. No refund. Alvin promises it has been escalated. How are they allowed to continue to operate and rip people off. Why are none of the real reviews posted on their website?

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM WINESTASH!! They will take your money and not deliver. I would give a 0 star rather than 1 but this was not an option. I made an order in March 2023 for over $1,100 worth of wine racking and never received a single thing. They maintain the charade that they will send the items, and finally when you request a refund, they continue the charade, advising that the money is being refunded by this never happens. NSW Fair Trading have tried to assist but they also have not been able to help us. It beggars belief that this "company" is allowed to continue to operate.

This company has taken my money but has not supplied the ordered product. They have promised me a refund, but will not provide it despite multiple requests. It appears their business model is to take your money - but not supply the item ordered - then promise a refund but use delaying tactics until you forget about any refund being owed.

This company has an impressive website in a number of countries, yet seems unable to deliver anything anywhere.
I am currently going through a dispute process with my credit card provider to get a refund for the wine racks that I ordered 4 months ago and that have not yet been delivered.
Every two weeks, when I email them asking where they are, “Alvin” replies that “I have escalated this matter to our manager and will get back to you on the highest priority.” or “I've confirmed with our warehouse manager, and your order is scheduled to be shipped within the next 2 weeks.”
Two weeks later my followup query gets the same response.
The company is overseas somewhere, not Australian-based. My credit card was charged an international transaction fee for the purchase.
They quote Kitchen Warehouse as stockists, but the Kitchen Warehouse website does not list any of their products.
Perhaps it’s a one-man show running out of a garage somewhere. The only certainty is that you’ll either never get what you paid for, or will be waiting a very very long time.

This inept company had an exposé done on them on Australian TV by A Current Affair (26 September 2023), exposing the dishonest conman Matthew Childs for fraudulent activity.
Several fake accounts have been created in response to the program, all giving 5 star reviews on various review platforms.

Along with Australia & the UK, this scam business is also ripping people off in NZ according to review websites & media. The only place giving overwhelming positive reviews is the USA where it seems conman Matthew Childs is focusing his attention on, while ripping off everybody everywhere else.

Scammers
Bought a cork wine stool and could only pay by bank deposit. Should have realised then but they had 5 star reviews on their site. Never got a shipping notification. Alvin emailed me and said he was sorting issue but never heard from him again. Do not shop with Wine Stash!!! NZ phone number goes to answer phone. I have complained to NZ commerce commission

Scammers, they don’t actually have products to send. Stealing money. Ordered before Christmas still nothing and despite repeated emails no refund. Keep saying “the system won’t let us refund”. Do yourself a favour and don’t deal with this company unless you are just looking to give your money away.

These guys are scammers. Paid the money, Product never arrived and 3 months later I am still waiting for a refund.
Alvin is a dodgy liar. I am now trying to get Amex card to recover funds.

Stopped responding to emails and won’t return calls. Company has all sorts of excuses but doesn’t deliver. Am now trying to get Visa card to recover funds.

I bought a significant number of their products (10K USD) for a winery cellar area in October of 22. Delivery was guaranteed by the end of 22. Well we finally started getting parts of the order in June of 23. This continued through the fall of 23. Since then nothing. I’m still owed about 25% of the items from the order.
