I was mislead and have now been charged a outrages amount of money

This company put a ridiculous charge for their services to my card that I was not aware of. I singed up for the free trial, however, this company severely misled me. Firstly, when signing up for the trial, I was shown a monthly fee, which to me, communicates that the charges would be monthly, not annual. Secondly, I was not presented with an option to switch between an annual or a monthly plan. Thirdly, no email came to my inbox from the company to warn me that the free trial was ending. This amount of money for this service is outrageous. This company misleads people, which can be seen by the countless poor reviews for similar reasons. Now I'm $187 out of pocket for something I was simply trying. I am a student who cannot afford this kind of service, as to why I selected the free trial. Furthermore, this company does not warn customers of a "no-refund" policy on the purchase page. Meaning I was further misled when purchasing the service. Having a no-refund policy in this day in age is ridiculous. I will be expecting a refund for this issue despite the billing policy. Do not use this product, they are misleading customers and scamming them.

Buyer Beware

You cannot cancel the free trial and will be charged the full amount. I'm working with my credit card company to resolve this. The customer service number listed is busy 24 hours a day.

I'm a professional looking for something above Grammarly for writing and editing help. I signed up for the free trial and canceled later that day because this wasn't what I wanted. Three days later, they charged my card the full yearly amount.

Fine tuned software compared to other AI

This software is great to use professionally and personally. It is definitely more fine tuned related to grammar and different feelings or tones than other more general AI platforms out there. Definitely worth the subscription, especially for the customer support.

They are so bad

They are so bad, almost fraudulent they’ve taken money out of my account even though I don’t use the service and do not give me a refund even though let alone even respond to my emails

Outraged--Imposible to Cancel

Similar to another user, I am unable to cancel my son's Wordtune account because his email changed. He no longer has access to the email he used with his Wordtune account and therefore is unable to sign-in to cancel (WordTune sends a two-factor code to that original email). We are being charged $24.99 a month--a rate that is not even on their current rate card (the current "unlimited" version is $9.99). My son graduated from high school in May of 2023. If I do not hear from WordTune in the next 24 hours, I am calling the Attorney General. There is no number to call/no email to contact anyone. When I have worked with the AI assistant on the site, I do not receive an email in return.

Got a subscription back in October 2024…

Got a subscription back in October 2024 for one year of unlimited access to features. Changed my email address- alerted them as you cannot just log in and update details. 2 weeks later and past the deadline for an important document due, I am still not able to use my own subscription. There clearly is no simple way to simply edit me email, so now I have no access. I contacted them no less than 15 times pleading for them to help, sent through screenshots, did all the troubleshooting ete. Needed to use the program, so got on the 3 day trial and now they have charged me AGAIN, even though they assured me they cancelled the credit card and this would not happen. Have "cleared my caches, logged out and back in" etc etc and still not able to access my account. Just completely incompetent that they cannot update an email address without cancelling one's account and unable to re-instate. They are now breaking the law as they have my money for a service I cannot use. Taking this further.

Miss old layout

I miss the old layout :( it was so simple and easy on the eyes. The new layout looks bad. I understand they had to modernize it but this wasn’t the way to do it. I’ve been using the wordtune app since 2023 so it’s a shame to see the layout change for the worst. And I’m not the only one who doesn’t like it, I’ve seen a couple of people in the reviews expressing their distaste for the new layout as well.

Great experience in and out

Wordtune is a great tool to rewrite and recreate your text. Ai tool is amazing you should try. I choose it over other and similar programs... service is great you can find people to talk to unlike others. Enjoy

Excellent services!

I am perfectly happy with the Wordtune company’s excellent services. I have used this tool for about three years now. It does wonders for your writing when you look for the right word or expression, but as a non-native English speaker, you struggle to find them. In a way, this tool is like having an experienced teacher close by all the time. It gives me confidence when I draft something in English. It is truly a wonderful tool!

Wordtune to the Rescue!

I recently had a technical issue with Wordtune when I couldn't log in. The reason this was frustrating is I use Wordtune for hours each day. Within hours, they responded, and the issue was quickly dissolved. They have since followed up to make sure everything is working. The reason I was frustrated when it wasn't working is that Wordtune is a great resource, it's like having an editor on call 24/7!

Do NOT subscribe to Wordtune

Similar to recent posts, though I cancelled my subscription in advance of renewal, I am receiving emails about further payments. Seeking clarification is pointless; they will try everything to lure you to continue payments. Their responses avoid answering a direct question regarding cancelled subscriptions. Regardless of the usefulness of this product, Do NOT subscribe to it.

Charged even though I cancelled and…

Charged even though I cancelled and refused to refund. I have disputed the charge with my bank and hope they will fix it. I will never use WordTune again! Now I am out almost $120 for something I did not even want!

100% Scam - WordTune relies on fraudulent practices.

This company is a pure scam. Save your time and money. There is no way this company should be allowed to continue its operations today.

I started on a three day trial and cancelled the subscription with them on the FIRST day of my free trial. Despite that I was charged with USD 119.88 for yearly membership. The company gives you an option to cancel your subscription, however your billing remains active regardless of your ‘cancellation’ (YES, you read that right !!!)

Useless chat Bot and customer service and by the way the majority of the 5-star reviews are fake. Even 1-star rating is too much for these fraudsters.

I will be disputing this with my bank and all the negative reviews here is to serve as a proof that so many people got trapped in the same way. Need to find who the regulator is so they can shut this business ASAP.

PLEASE DO NOT EVER SHARE YOUR CARD DETAILS WITH THESE GUYS!!! THEY WILL CONTINUE CHARGING YOU FOR LIFE…
